The development of high-throughput technology has produced a large number of protein-protein interaction datasets, which provide an effective way to infer the functional annotation of proteins. However, how to make proper use of these datasets to extract effective low-dimensional feature representation of proteins for functional prediction is a challenge. Most existing network integration methods for protein function prediction have some limitations to capture complex and highly non-linear network structure information due to their design architecture. Therefore, we propose a novel multi-network embedding method deepVAE based on deep variational autoencoder (VAE), which uses the variational autoencoder to extract low-dimensional features of proteins from multiple various interactive network datasets and then trains a SVM classifier to predict protein function. Particularly, we denoise the original networks before network embedding, thus the new proposed method is called deepVAE-NE. The experiments are conducted on the yeast and human protein-protein interaction datasets and the experimental performance shows that our methods perform better than the other four compared advanced approaches, which greatly improves the accuracy of functional prediction. © 2022 ACM.

The integration of multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) into complex systems has paved new ways for collaborative problem-solving. However, traditional approaches to MARL frequently encounter the challenge of achieving ef-ficient communication among agents, essential for coordinated action. This paper introduces a region division and leader-follower(RDLF) communication algrithm with the MARL frame-work. RDLF divides the environment into several regions, each managed by a leader agent that coordinates the actions of fol-lower agents and handling inter-region communication. This hier-archical structure reduces unnecessary communication, enhancing learning efficiency. Experimental results in multi-particle en-vironments demonstrate RDLF's superiority over existing MARL algorithms, especially with increasing agent numbers. RDLF effectively addresses scalability and communication challenges in large-scale multi-agent systems, providing a robust foundation for its application in complex and dynamic environment.

User-side distributed energy storage, as a flexible demand response resource, possesses excellent source-load interaction characteristics and can effectively interact with the power grid. However, currently in China, user-side distributed energy storage resources often face difficulties in directly participating in grid regulation due to factors such as dispersed geographical distribution, small individual installed capacity, and uncertain output time. To address this issue, this paper proposes an optimal economic dispatch strategy for microgrids that considers distributed energy storage aggregation. First, a distributed energy storage aggregator is introduced to manage scattered user-side distributed energy storage resources in a scaled manner, and the scheduling potential of distributed energy storage in each time period is assessed based on consumer psychology theory. Subsequently, a multi-objective optimal dispatch model for microgrids is constructed, which takes into account both economic and environmental aspects. The multi-objective optimization problem is transformed into a single-objective optimization problem using the weighted assignment method, and the CPLEX solver is employed to solve the problem. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method in this paper are verified through a microgrid test system. © 2024 IEEE.

Chalcogenide superlattices Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe is a candidate for interfacial phase-change memory(iPCM) data storage *** employing terahertz emission spectroscopy and the transient reflectance spectroscopy together,we investigate the ultrafast photoexcited carrier dynamics and current transients in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** orientation and excitation polarization dependences of the THz emission confirm that ultrafast thermo-electric,shift and injection currents contribute to the THz generation in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** decreasing the thickness and increasing the number of GeTe and Sb_(2)Te_(3) layer,the interlayer coupling can be enhanced,which significantly reduces the contribution from circular photo-galvanic effect(CPGE).A photo-induced bleaching in the transient reflectance spectroscopy probed in the range of~1100 nm to~1400 nm further demonstrates a gapped state resulting from the interlayer *** demonstrates play an important role in the development of iPCM-based high-speed optoelectronic devices.

The development and utilization of renewable energy is imperative, and photovoltaic power generation has broad development prospects. However, photovoltaic power generation systems are limited by many external conditions, which bring more problems to power output and grid connected power quality. Therefore, in order to make better use of photovoltaic power generation, this paper proposes a coordinated control strategy of the grid-connected photovoltaic generation system. The operating principle, mathematical model, and output characteristics of photovoltaic cells are analyzed. Then, the MPPT algorithm and the operating principle of DC/DC converters are studied. Moreover, the structure and control strategy of grid connected inverters are analyzed. A simulation model of a three-phase photovoltaic grid-connected inverter system is established, and a control strategy based on grid voltage orientation is adopted. A case study is conducted to verify the proposed control strategy. © 2023 IEEE.

The coarse pointing assembly (CPA), as the outer loop of the laser terminal, its tracking stability is the basis for ensuring laser communication. This paper presents the model of the CPA. Aiming at the disturbance factors in the low-speed operation process of the CPA, an active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method for the position loop of the CPA is designed based on the generalized proportional integral observer (GPIO) to achieve disturbance compensation control. Finally, simulations are carried out on the system model. The simulation results show that compared with the PID control strategy adopted, the proposed ADRC strategy based on GPIO of the CPA can effectively improve the tracking accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

The technique of generating fonts with few-shot learning has become a popular research topic. The goal of this technique is to transform the source-to-target domain by using a small number of sample images to generate characters for new fonts. However, current research is limited by model frameworks and migration algorithms, which pose challenges for maintaining content integrity and stroke-level style consistency when generating Chinese characters. This paper proposes ResFFont, a reversible network-based model that uses a unique reversible framework and Global and Local Feature Fusion Module (GaLSFM) to ensure complete delivery of content information and stroke-level style consistency. The experimental results confirm the effectiveness and superiority of the ResFFont model, providing a new solution to the font generation problem. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This paper proposes a fault location and phase selection method for the distribution network containing IIDG based on online active detection, utilizing online active detection. In this method, the characteristic harmonic current injection control strategy based on d- and q-axis control is obtained by analyzing the structure, control strategy, and short-circuit current of IIDG. During a fault, the distributed power supply injects characteristic harmonic current into line, adapting its magnitude with the short-circuit current's size. By detecting the difference in harmonic current content rate for both ends of the fault point, the method achieves online location and line selection of fault points. A 10 kV IIDG distribution network model is simulated by using PSCAD to validate the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed fault location and phase selection method. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system as the contributor of building climate management is studied on multi-zone climate dynamics modelling and control for occupancy comfort. The first-principles model together with data-driven model as the hybrid model is proposed for comprehensive multi-zone hygro-thermal dynamics. The unmodeled climate dynamics such as unknown nonlinearity and uncertainty is modeled in a linear form based on the compact form dynamic linearization (CFDL) method. Then model free adaptive control (MFAC) scheme including controller design and parameter estimation is proposed to realize multi-zone climate control and occupancy comfort. The dynamic response performance of the hybrid model-based adaptive control and the first-principles model-based adaptive control has been tested in a multi-zone building with four different zones. The results show that the proposed hybrid model-based adaptive control scheme can achieve obvious performance improvement in minimizing steady-state error. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presented an adaptive gain scheduling algorithm for hypersonic vehicles with wide envelopes. First, the linear parameter variable parameter (LPV) model of hypersonic vehicles is established in the flight envelope. Then, the active disturbance rejection controller is considered to cope with disturbances and uncertainties, and the control gain is scheduled using the guardian maps method to adapt to the wide envelope of velocity and height. Finally, numerical simulation results show good control performance and meet the required performance indexes in all operating conditions, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
