Chalcogenide superlattices Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe is a candidate for interfacial phase-change memory(iPCM) data storage *** employing terahertz emission spectroscopy and the transient reflectance spectroscopy together,we investigate the ultrafast photoexcited carrier dynamics and current transients in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** orientation and excitation polarization dependences of the THz emission confirm that ultrafast thermo-electric,shift and injection currents contribute to the THz generation in Sb_(2)Te_(3)-GeTe *** decreasing the thickness and increasing the number of GeTe and Sb_(2)Te_(3) layer,the interlayer coupling can be enhanced,which significantly reduces the contribution from circular photo-galvanic effect(CPGE).A photo-induced bleaching in the transient reflectance spectroscopy probed in the range of~1100 nm to~1400 nm further demonstrates a gapped state resulting from the interlayer *** demonstrates play an important role in the development of iPCM-based high-speed optoelectronic devices.

To enhance the safety and longevity of large ships, employing high-pressure water jet technology for rust removal is crucial in this article, the qualitative relationship among the key parameters of high-pressure water jet rust removal is analyzed theoretically. Secondly, the flow field simulation is carried out using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to verify the relationship among the key parameters. Finally, the influence of different nozzle length-diameter ratios on jet characteristics is analyzed. The simulation results show that the nozzle end length is 0 mm and the nozzle diameter is 1mm for the straight-cone convergent nozzle with a shrinking angle of 30° when the diameter of the length-diameter ratio remains unchanged and the length of the nozzle end is changed. Simultaneously, the highest values are observed for the nozzle exit velocity and the impact force on the target surface. The impact range of target shear force takes the maximum value when the length-diameter ratio is 1. Further, by changing the length of the nozzle-end and the nozzle diameter in the length-diameter ratio, the influence on the jet characteristics can be concluded that the nozzle diameter has a greater influence on the nozzle exit velocity than the nozzle-end length. On this basis, the optimized nozzle parameters can be obtained i.e., the nozzle-end length is 1 mm and the nozzle diameter is 1 mm, such that the effective striking area of the jet is the largest and the striking effect is the best. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. The high proportion of renewable energies make the operation state of the power system more complicated. This paper proposes a bi-level joint planning approach considering the flexibility of the power system, which proposes for the transmission network and energy storage. By building a network flexibility index and adding a flexibility objective function, a bi-level optimization model is established to improve the power system flexibility and reducing investment cost. In addition, the outer model is solved by the snake optimization algorithm. The analysis results show that the joint planning model can effectively improve the flexibility of power system, and has economic advantages compared with the transmission lines expansion. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presented an adaptive gain scheduling algorithm for hypersonic vehicles with wide envelopes. First, the linear parameter variable parameter (LPV) model of hypersonic vehicles is established in the flight envelope. Then, the active disturbance rejection controller is considered to cope with disturbances and uncertainties, and the control gain is scheduled using the guardian maps method to adapt to the wide envelope of velocity and height. Finally, numerical simulation results show good control performance and meet the required performance indexes in all operating conditions, demonstrating the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

In order to solve the problem of fast switching of special equipment in the cultural complex, the improved Moth-Flame Optimization algorithm (MFO) is combined with the improved Dynamic Window Approach (DWA) to realize the hybrid path planning of handling robots in different scenarios of cultural complexes in this paper. Specifically, the traditional Moth-Flame Optimization algorithm is improved and applied to the global path planning problem. On the basis of the planned global path, the intersection of dynamic obstacles with the global path is detected, and the improved Dynamic Window Approach is used for local obstacle avoidance in the section with collision risk, finally, the hybrid path planning in the complex environment of the cultural complex is realized. The simulation experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system as the contributor of building climate management is studied on multi-zone climate dynamics modelling and control for occupancy comfort. The first-principles model together with data-driven model as the hybrid model is proposed for comprehensive multi-zone hygro-thermal dynamics. The unmodeled climate dynamics such as unknown nonlinearity and uncertainty is modeled in a linear form based on the compact form dynamic linearization (CFDL) method. Then model free adaptive control (MFAC) scheme including controller design and parameter estimation is proposed to realize multi-zone climate control and occupancy comfort. The dynamic response performance of the hybrid model-based adaptive control and the first-principles model-based adaptive control has been tested in a multi-zone building with four different zones. The results show that the proposed hybrid model-based adaptive control scheme can achieve obvious performance improvement in minimizing steady-state error. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper proposes a fault location and phase selection method for the distribution network containing IIDG based on online active detection, utilizing online active detection. In this method, the characteristic harmonic current injection control strategy based on d- and q-axis control is obtained by analyzing the structure, control strategy, and short-circuit current of IIDG. During a fault, the distributed power supply injects characteristic harmonic current into line, adapting its magnitude with the short-circuit current's size. By detecting the difference in harmonic current content rate for both ends of the fault point, the method achieves online location and line selection of fault points. A 10 kV IIDG distribution network model is simulated by using PSCAD to validate the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed fault location and phase selection method. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In order to solve the problem of low accuracy of traditional fault location method when the feeder of distribution network contains load branches, this paper proposes an accurate fault location method for single-phase grounding fault of feeder in distribution network with load branches based on fault secondary discrimination. By analyzing the feeder fault recording data, the fault point is identified twice to determine whether the fault point occurs on the load branch. According to different fault location, the voltage of the fault point is calculated by using the voltage and current of the two ends of the fault section. The voltage of the calculated fault point should be equal. The objective function of the minimum voltage difference of the fault point is written, and the fault distance x under the minimum voltage difference is obtained. The simulation model of 10KV distribution network is built on PSCAD, which verifies the accuracy of the ranging algorithm and has certain ability to resist transition resistance, which has certain engineering practice value. © 2023 IEEE.

District heating network (DHN) can provide flexibility for electrical power system (EPS) by utilizing heat storage capacity. First, the long-term balance between heat supply and demand must be considered. Thus, this paper defines two operating periods of DHN, including flexibility providing period (FPP) and flexibility recovery period (FRP). A DHN flexibility-providing model is designed. On the basis of proposed flexibility-providing model, a flexibility interaction mechanism between multiple DHNs and EPS is proposed. Considered the interaction mechanism, an integrated electricity and heating system (IEHS) robust dispatch model is proposed, which takes into account the flexibility supply capacity and operating costs of the system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by case studies.

With the continuous expansion of wind power generation, wind power curtailment is becoming increasingly serious. In order to improve wind power accommodation capacity, more flexibility resources that can be utilized by electrical power system (EPS) need to be identified. This paper proposed a decentralized coordinated robust dispatch model of multi-area integrated electricity and heating system (IEHS), considering the dynamic characteristics of district heating network (DHN) and flexibility from interconnected IEHS transferred though tie-line. Meanwhile, the risk of wind power accommodation is also considered to balance the operational costs and risk costs. The alternating direction multiplier method (ADMM) is applied to solve the coordinated robust dispatch of multi-area IEHS. The results of the case studies show that the proposed model can optimize the allocation of power generation and flexibility resources in multi-area interconnected system, realize multi-area interconnected system flexibility sharing and effectively reducing operating costs.
