Video archives play a crucial role in various industries, from media and entertainment to security and surveillance. Managing these archives efficiently and securely is a growing challenge due to the increasing volume of video data being generated. In this paper, a video archive management method is presented to solve security and sensibility of the video files on blockchain. By encrypting video files and generating cryptographic hashes, the presented method can protect the integrity of the data and prevent unauthorized modifications. The method based on blockchain technology offers a compelling solution to the challenges faced in managing video archives. By combining the inherent security and transparency of blockchain with innovative data management algorithms, organizations can ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of their video archives. © 2024 SPIE.

AR-CNN: an attention ranking network for learning urban perception

An increasing number of deep learning methods is being applied to quantify the perception of urban environments, study the relationship between urban appearance and resident safety, and improve urban appearance. Most advanced methods extract image feature representations from street-level images through conventional visual computation algorithms or deep convolutional neural networks and then directly predict the results using features. Unfortunately, these methods take color and texture information together during processing. Color and texture are prime image features, and they affect human perception and judgment differently. We argue that color and texture should be operated differently; therefore, we formulate an end-to-end learning methodology to process input images according to color and texture information before inputting it into the neural network. The processed images and the original image constitute three input streams for the triad attention ranking convolutional neural network(AR-CNN) model proposed in this *** accordance with the aspects of color and texture, an improved attention mechanism in the convolution layer is proposed. Our objective is to obtain the scores of humans on urban appearance in accordance with the prediction results computed from pairwise comparisons generated by the AR-CNN model.

This study aims to deeply explore the impact of mobile edge computing based on extended reality technology on the multi-person linkage of the Zhijiang Peace Culture Memorial Hall under the immersive experience. In the part of research background and significance, it discusses the rise of the application of XR technology in the field of culture and education, emphasizing the importance of education on the history of revolution and its value in the social sense. Then, it expounds the core topic of this research aimed at integrating XR technology with education on the history of revolution, and presenting visitors with more realistic and immersive historical scenes by creating an immersive experience of multi-person linkage. The use of these technologies enables visitors to transcend time and space barriers, directly participate in historical events, and deeply appreciate the intrinsic value of red culture. In order to achieve multi-person linkage, this study adopts mobile edge computing technology to ensure that multiple visitors can realize real-time interaction in the virtual scene and jointly build a collective experience of the Metaverse. This research has achieved positive results in the fields of XR technology application, education on the history of revolution, and mobile edge computing. Semi-supervised learning has garnered significant attention, particularly in medical image segmentation, owing to its capacity to leverage a large number of unlabeled data and a limited amount of labeled data to improve performance. However, most existing semi-supervised segmentation methods exhibit shortcomings in supervising unlabeled data, both in the label space due to potential noise in pseudo-labels, and the feature space due to indistinct class boundaries. To address the issues above, we propose Dual-view Label and Feature Supervision Network, termed DLFS-Net, to enhance label and feature supervision for unlabeled data. Our approach is based on a dual-view learning strategy that incorporates two modules: the Confidence Fusion Supervision Module (CFS) and the Dual-view Prototype Learning Module (DPL). Specifically, the CFS module generates weight matrices to integrate complementary information from two model outputs, producing more accurate pseudo-labels in the label space. The DPL module reduces intra-class variations in the feature space from two different views through prototype learning to generate clear class boundaries. Experiments on the LA and Pancreas-CT datasets demonstrate that our framework show solid gains (e.g.,1.76% Dice and 2.37% Jaccard improvement on Pancreas-CT dataset with 20% labeled data) compared with the state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 ACM.

This paper discusses the H∞ consensus problem of leader-follower multi-agent systems. The controller for each agent is crafted to utilize comprehensive information from all connected agents, while an innovative event-triggered strategy is incorporated to minimize communication costs. Based on the Lyapunov function theory, an H∞ controller is proposed that can ensure both system stability and a prescribed disturbance attenuation level γ. Finally, a numerical example validated the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

As a tool for studying uncertain information, cloud model is of great significance in uncertain artificial intelligence and data mining. Among them, the backward cloud transformation method is one of the important algorithms of cloud model, which can realize the conversion from quantitative data to qualitative concepts. In this paper, a dynamic incremental backward cloud transformation algorithm is proposed to solve the problem that the estimated value of hyper entropy is imaginary when the backward cloud transformation method is used to calculate hyper entropy. First, according to the formation characteristics of cloud drops, the generated samples and the original samples are fused as new samples by dynamically and randomly generating samples, and then the hyper entropy is estimated until the estimated value of hyper entropy is real. Secondly, the stability and convergence of the algorithm proposed in this paper are analyzed through simulation experiments. The experimental results show that the new dynamic incremental backward cloud transformation algorithm solves the problem that the hyper entropy estimation value is imaginary while the estimation error is small and the stability is good. Finally, the algorithm is applied to brain CT segmentation, and the results show that the algorithm is effective and practical. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

The study primarily delves into addressing the data filtering challenge inherent in the silicon single crystal growth process by proposing a multi-sensor integrated detection approach. This approach is designed to alleviate the diminished filtering accuracy resulting from the reliance on a single sensor and the conventional Kalman filtering algorithm. By utilizing an enhanced adaptive Kalman filtering algorithm and the maximum likelihood estimation criterion to incorporate the innovation variance directly into the gain calculation of the Kalman filter, dynamic adjustment of the estimation model is achieved while interference from system noise and measurement noise is reduced. Finally, simulation-based comparative experiments between the adaptive and conventional Kalman filtering algorithms are performed. The results show that the performance of the adaptive Kalman filtering algorithm is superior to that of the conventional Kalman filtering algorithm in terms of accuracy and stability when detecting signals from multiple sensors. The research findings furnish dependable data support for refining the decision-making process in crystal growth technology, augmenting the precision and scientific integrity of crystal safety production scheduling and decision-making endeavors. © 2024 IEEE.

A multi-level feature weighted fusion based image classification method for silicon single crystal growth process has been proposed to address the issue of the long silicon single crystal pulling times at industrial sites, which prevents timely understanding of the crystal growth process. A multi-level feature weighted fusion method was employed to identify and classify the growth process of silicon single crystals. A Czochralski single crystal silicon growth process recognition system was then designed. A comparison of the experimental results obtained from this design with the traditional single image classification method clearly showed that using different levels of silicon single crystal image information simultaneously effectively improved the accuracy of silicon single crystal growth image classification. © 2024 SPIE.

With the rapid increase in circuit density in Very Large Scale Integration, the proportion of interconnect delay in circuit timing is also increasing. This makes the importance of layer assignment algorithms increasingly prominent in circuit design. However, most previous layer assignment algorithms prioritize optimizing timing exclusively from the perspective of interconnect delay, thereby disregarding the impact of slew violations on circuits. Therefore, this paper proposes a slew-driven layer assignment algorithm, which considers the timing of different routing layers and introduces non-default-rule wires to design a layer assignment algorithm that can significantly optimize delay, congestion, and slew violations. This algorithm mainly includes three key technologies: 1) Introducing non-default-rule wires technology to optimize timing and adopting a negotiation based approach to ensure that the final routing scheme does not have overflow;2) Proposing a slew prioritization strategy that comprehensively considers slew and interconnect delay during the routing process;3) Proposing a timing critical awareness strategy to further optimize the slew and interconnect delay without worsening the overflow. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has significant effects on optimizing delay and reducing slew violations. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
