With the development of artificial intelligence technology, robotics technology has become more and more mature. Ground walking robots not only develop rapidly, but also have been applied in actual production and life. However, the development of wall climbing robot technology is still in the laboratory research and small-scale application. We live in a world where progress is continuing. Large-scale buildings, bridges and ships are becoming more and more common. In these places, it is inevitable to involve the construction, maintenance and clarity of high-rise buildings and ships. In the case of dangerous and inefficient manpower work, the application of wall climbing robots can play a very good role. Therefore, the development of wall climbing robots is of vital importance both now and in the future. Starting from the performance characteristics of wall climbing robot, this paper studies and summarizes the moving mode, control mode, conditions to be satisfied and various adsorption forms of wall climbing robot, and introduces the basic research situation in the field of wall climbing robot. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) constitutes an essential and promising paradigm that relies programmable wireless environment and provides capability for space-intensive communications, due to the use of low-cost massive reflecting elements over the entire surfaces of man-made structures. However, accurate channel estimation is a fundamental technical prerequisite to achieve the huge performance gains from RIS. By leveraging the low rank structure of RIS channels, three practical residual neural networks, named convolutional blind denoising network, convolutional denoising generative adversarial networks and multiple residual dense network, are proposed to obtain accurate channel state information, which can reflect the impact of different methods on the estimation performance. Simulation results reveal the evolution direction of these three methods and reveal their superior performance compared with existing benchmark schemes. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. It is difficult to rescue people from outside, and emergency evacuation is still a main measure to decrease casualties in high-rise building fires. To improve evacuation efficiency, a valid and easily manipulated grouping evacuation strategy is proposed. Occupants escape in groups according to the shortest evacuation route is determined by graph theory. In order to evaluate and find the optimal grouping, computational experiments are performed to design and simulate the evacuation processes. A case study shown the application in detail and quantitative research conclusions is obtained. The thoughts and approaches of this study can be used to guide actual high-rise building evacuation processes in future.

Solid oxide fuel cell is a device that can convert chemical energy directly into electricity. Its advantages, such as high efficiency, low emission, quiet operation, fuel flexibility, bring about the broad application prospect. However, it is difficult to obtain the temperature distribution in the existing planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell through the experiment. In this paper, a control orient two-dimensional differential equation model is established for a planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell based on the finite node method, and an iterative algorithm for calculating the real time voltage of the fuel cell is proposed for the model. Based on the model, the temperature distribution of the fuel cell in the test and system configuration is simulated. The simulation results show that the model can reflect the thermoelectric characteristics of the planar cross flow solid oxide fuel cell, especially the temperature distribution of the fuel cell. The SOFC temperature distribution modeling in this paper is helpful for the development of temperature distribution observers and design related control methods in later studies.

In order to more accurately predict the impact of solid oxide fuel cells to stack life on standby and shutdown, this paper proposes a modeling method based on experimental data. Which is based on Elman neural network(NN). At the same time, a main factor is considered in the modeling process which is the effect of cooling rate on the stack. In the process of modeling, the most obvious cooling rate is used to modeling. There are two different influencing factors on classify, the training set and the verification set respectively. After the reliability of the model, the Solid Oxide Fuel cell (SOFC) stack life prediction is carried out. From the predict results and the experimental results, it is found that the prediction results are good and the high precision.

Investigation of the Salinity Distribution of the Soil along West Main Canal in Ningxia, China

As one of the main irrigation canals in Ningxia, West Main Canal plays a very important role in the irrigation of the land nearby the canal, such as farms, meadows, and tree farms. Because of the long-term use of the Yellow River water for irrigation, the soil salinization in this area become more serious. In this paper, the problem of soil salinization along the West Main Canal in Ningxia is taken as the research object. 82 sample points in the studied area are chosen and a total number of 164 soil samples are measured for the eight main salt ions and pH value. Correlation analysis and principal component analysis are employed to study the distribution of the soil salinity ions and pH value. In addition, two dimensional interpolation is applied to obtain the spatial distribution of the total saltiness. It can be found that Cl−, SO42−, Ca2+, Na+ and HCO3− are the main salt ions and the main soluble salts are NaCl, KCl, CaSO4, Na2SO4 and CaCl2 in the soil of the studied area. The spatial distribution of the total soil salt is mainly in the patterns of north high and south low, far high and near low, up high and down low.

Experimental Study on Flow Characteristics in a Compound Open Channel with Flexible Vegetation

In order to study the effect of flexible vegetation for the flow in open channels with flood plains, a series of experiments were carried out in a laboratory flume with a two-stage floodplain. Four cases, i.e., dense parallel arrangement, normal parallel arrangement, sparse parallel arrangement and no vegetation condition, were designed with fixed water depth and discharge. By using three dimensional (3D) laser Doppler velocimeter (LDV) and other instruments, under the condition of the four cases,3D flow velocities, water level and turbulence intensity were measured, The experimental results show that, compared with the non-vegetation situation, the arrangement of grasses on the floodplain will increase the water surface gradient, hydraulic gradient and turbulence intensity to a certain extent.

Biomedical ontology matching aims at determining the heterogeneous biomed-ical concepts, and bridging the semantic gap between heterogeneous biomedical ontologies. The foundation of a biomedical ontology matching technique is the Biomedical Concept Similarity Measure (BCSM), which calculates the similarity value between two biomed-ical concepts. Since various BCSMs have different advantages, usually several BCSMs are aggregated together to improve the result’s confidence. How to tune the aggregating weights to ensure the quality of the alignment is called biomedical ontology meta-matching problem, which is a challenge in the ontology matching domain. Currently, researchers mainly focus on how to tune the aggregating weights for various similarity measures to improve the quality of the ontology alignments. However, the ignorance of the effects brought about by different biomedical concept mapping’s preference on different similarity measures significantly reduces the alignment’s quality. To overcome this drawback, in this work, we formally define the biomedical ontology meta-matching problem, and then present an Ordered Weighted Average (OWA) based approach to automatically aggregate various biomedical concept similarity measures. In our method, the aggregating weights determined for each concept mapping is associated with the ordered position of the similarity value instead of a particular concept similarity measure. The experiment utilizes the large biomed track provided by Ontology Alignment Evaluation Initiative (OAEI) to test our proposal’s performance, and the experimental results show the effectiveness of our proposal. © 2019, Taiwan Ubiquitous information. With regard to the unknown prior knowledge of signal noise in the parameter measurement of gas-solid flow, the present paper puts forward the AC signal processing method based on the least mean square (LMS) adaptive filtering. In addition, the floating processor DSP-TMS320F28335 is employed to collect AC signal of electrostatic sensors and the acquired signals are processed by the aid of LMS adaptive filtering algorithm which adjusts the filter weights according to the criterion of the least mean square error to achieve the optimal filtering. Drawing on the experimental platform, the solid-phase velocity is measured online in real time for the gas-solid flow. The results show that the method can improve the accuracy and stability for the velocity measurement of gas-solid flow.

In this paper, we consider the fixed point and variational inequality problems in Hilbert spaces. We suggest an extragradient algorithm for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a pseudocontractive operator and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem.
