With the rapid advancement of information technology such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, virtual reality, etc., in the context of the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching, smart classroom has set off a new round of revolution. Based on this background, this paper discuss how to cultivate students’ computational thinking in a smart education environment, and explore the cultivation of computational thinking in basic university computer courses from three aspects: before class, during class, and after class in smart classrooms. In the background of smart education, only by comprehensively cultivating students’ computational thinking that we can achieve more results in the future. In the application of RRT (Rapidly-exploring Random Trees) algorithm in obstacle avoidance path planning of redundant robot arms in high-dimensional space, the sampling area of random sampling points is large, the search time is long, the path twists and turns, and the redundant points are too many. In this paper, an efficient sampling RRT algorithm with adaptive step size and fast automatic convergence is proposed. Firstly, by adding the optimized gravity function, the step size of the extended tree is changed adaptively and the convergence is stronger. Secondly, the limited sampling of parent node area expansion is proposed to avoid useless point sampling and repeated point sampling, so that the utilization of sampling points is greatly improved. Finally, by changing the way of parent node reconnection and re-selection, the path tortuous degree is lower, the path planning cost and redundancy points are reduced, and MATLAB software is used to carry out the path planning simulation experiment. By comparing RRT, gravitational field RTT and RRT∗ algorithm, the improved RRT algorithm has significantly improved in distance, time and number of nodes. Virtual Machine Consolidation (VMC) is an effective means to improve the resource utilization and reduce energy consumption of data centers. However, the VMC optimization that only considers energy consumption may lead to SLA (Service-Level Agreements) violations and thus fail to guarantee the QoS (Quality of Service) provided. Therefore, it is necessary to consider both energy saving and SLA violations in the process of VMC. In this paper, we propose an energy and SLA-aware VMC algorithm that considers both energy saving and SLA violation optimization in data centers. The proposed algorithm uses the local regression method to predict the utilization of virtual machines, based on which it determines whether the host will be overloaded, so as to make the decision of virtual machine migrations. The proposed VMC algorithm is evaluated with CloudSim toolkit. Simulation results demonstrate that our algorithm has good energy saving performance and can effectively reduce SLA violation in cloud data center. Considering energy consumption and SLA violation, the ESV can be reduced by 7.57% on average and 16.36% at most compared with other algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

●AIM:To investigate a pioneering framework for the segmentation of meibomian glands(MGs),using limited annotations to reduce the workload on ophthalmologists and enhance the efficiency of clinical diagnosis.●METHODS:Totally 203 infrared meibomian images from 138 patients with dry eye disease,accompanied by corresponding annotations,were gathered for the study.A rectified scribble-supervised gland segmentation(RSSGS)model,incorporating temporal ensemble prediction,uncertainty estimation,and a transformation equivariance constraint,was introduced to address constraints imposed by limited supervision information inherent in scribble *** viability and efficacy of the proposed model were assessed based on accuracy,intersection over union(IoU),and dice coefficient.●RESULTS:Using manual labels as the gold standard,RSSGS demonstrated outcomes with an accuracy of 93.54%,a dice coefficient of 78.02%,and an IoU of 64.18%.Notably,these performance metrics exceed the current weakly supervised state-of-the-art methods by 0.76%,2.06%,and 2.69%,***,despite achieving a substantial 80%reduction in annotation costs,it only lags behind fully annotated methods by 0.72%,1.51%,and 2.04%.●CONCLUSION:An innovative automatic segmentation model is developed for MGs in infrared eyelid images,using scribble annotation for *** model maintains an exceptionally high level of segmentation accuracy while substantially reducing training *** holds substantial utility for calculating clinical parameters,thereby greatly enhancing the diagnostic efficiency of ophthalmologists in evaluating meibomian gland dysfunction.

The similarity of triangular fuzzy numbers could be served as a measurement of similarity between two triangular cloud models. However, it has been found that existing methods for describing the similarity of triangular cloud models has the drawbacks that can't make full use of utilizing graphic information and assigning inappropriate weights to distances through research and analysis. The method proposed in this literature has adjusted the weight of distance similarity aim to ensure that the characteristic information of the model will not be covered. In addition, the proposed method provides a measurement to describe geometric shape bases on the expected curve included angle of the triangular cloud model. On the foundation of taking abundantly the similarity of distance and shape into account, we provide the measurement to achieve better accuracy. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method have been demonstrated through the time series of KNN algorithm. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

In order to avoid decision makers from making wrong decisions as much as possible and reduce the losses caused by wrong decisions, a new aggregation method of interval loss function is proposed based on incomplete information system. Firstly, the missing values are filled according to their characteristics and combined with probability, and on this basis, the measurement method of similarity is given, and the horizontal similarity class of each object is obtained according to the similarity between objects. Secondly, according to the number of times each object in the similar class appears in its corresponding horizontal similar class, the corresponding weight is obtained;Then the interval loss function of similar class is defined as the aggregation of interval loss functions of all objects in similar class, and each interval is weighted according to the weight, so that multiple intervals in similar class are aggregated into an interval, and then the aggregated interval is converted into a single value by using the conversion function. Finally, according to the aggregation method, three decision rules are given to make decisions, and the effectiveness of the method is verified by a case. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

Uncertainty exists widely in nature and human society. The handling and analysis of these uncertain phenomena have long been a focal point of research in natural sciences, representing a hot and crucial topic. The cloud model uses three numerical characteristics to realize qualitative and quantitative transformation of uncertain knowledge. Normal cloud is one of the more important and common cloud models. The similarity measurement of cloud model is used to judge the similarity of two cloud concepts, and the purpose is to understand the correlation between different cloud concepts, so as to improve the efficiency of classification and clustering. As a deformation extension of f divergence, Hellinger distance has good properties and is suitable for describing the difference between two probability distributions. HECMk and HCCMk algorithms are proposed by combining Hellinger distance and expectation curve cluster with entropy. Compared with previous algorithms, these two algorithms have higher distinguishing ability. Among them, HCCMk algorithm has better comprehensive performance and is feasible in actual similarity measurement. © 2023 The authors and IOS Press.

With the pervasive integration of artificial intelligence into all aspects of human life, talent emerges as a primary resource. Upon analysing the current state of talent training in higher education institutions, issues such as dispersed knowledge points, overlapping content, a singular practice approach and ineffective evaluation have been identified. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a multidisciplinary and comprehensive practical teaching methodology grounded in the knowledge graph framework. It delves into diverse paths for practical teaching and assessment, including aspects like teaching objectives, problem decomposition, resource integration, implementation methods and performance evaluation. The practical application of the SSD algorithm in researching service robot indoor object detection serves as an illustrative example. Employing the holistic practical teaching approach facilitated by the knowledge graph, this model guides students in acquiring object detection expertise, thereby enhancing their comprehensive development. In this paper, we introduce a new method to solve split common fixed point problem of demicontractive operators in Hilbert spaces, which is based on the Wang method, inertial method and Mann method. Strong convergence result of the suggested algorithm is proved, and our results are utilized to study split feasibility problem and split variational inequality problem in Hilbert spaces. Finally, we compare the convergence speed of our algorithm with the Wang algorithm by a numerical example. © 2024, Politechnica University of Bucharest. All rights reserved.

With the explosion of ChatGPT, the development of artificial intelligence technology ushered in another explosion. Similarly, with the rapid development of extended reality technology and Internet of Things technology, Metaverse will also usher in greater breakthroughs. However, in the development of the extended reality metaverse under edge computing, many security issues will arise. This paper focuses on data security, considering that data will be transmitted and processed between multiple devices and nodes instead of being concentrated in the cloud, which may bring To solve data security issues, relying on the integrated architecture of Metaverse educational applications based on edge computing (MEC), it provides an identity verification and access with higher security and scalability, better performance, and service requirements that meet the current environment control mechanism solutions, while analyzing other problems that will arise during the development of the extended reality metaverse. Aiming at the security problem on the edge side, a signature authentication scheme is designed based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) integrated blockchain encryption technology and the effectiveness of the method is proved.
