A data anomaly detection method based on fuzzy isolated forest algorithm is proposed. By selecting some valuable attributes and building them into isolated forests, starting from multiple dimensions, the membership degree of the detection results of each dimension attribute is judged. The influence of several key factors on CPPS was investigated. The proposed weak interdependence model considers protection mechanisms such as realistic redundancy backup, which makes the model more close to the actual system operation. Great trend of change. Subsequently, the strategy of edge-break protection is further proposed to improve the robustness of the power grid, and the simulation results are shown by computer graphics, which show that it has practical value for the analysis of optimal control systems with accurate mathematical models.

Large amount of power load data with high-sampling rate plays a crucial role in the training of time-dense power load forecasting network. However, in many cases, there is a large amount of data with low-sampling rate, which can't directly train a time-dense forecasting network. Therefore, this paper proposes a deep learning based dataset interpolation method, which uses the available high-sampling rate power load datasets to train a dataset interpolation network, then interpolates the low--sampling rate datasets with trained network to obtain high-sampling rate datasets, and finally uses the interpolated datasets for time-dense forecasting network training. The results show that the data obtained based on the method proposed in this paper fits the ground-truth closer than the traditional interpolation, and the results of the network trained based on this dataset are more accurate in the subsequent forecasting tasks.

The reliability of circuit breakers is of great importance for the safe operation of the power grid. Most failures of the circuit breakers were caused by their operating mechanism, which often contains a lot of components. What is more, the secondary connections of the circuit breakers are also complicated. The lack of modular design of domestic circuit breakers now limits the development of reconditioning. To improve the reliability and reduce the maintenance time of the circuit breaker, research on the modular design of a 110 kV circuit breaker has been carried out and the verification was also conducted. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The flood disaster has caused extensive damage and economic losses worldwide, and the power outage caused by it is particularly common and has an important impact. Therefore, it is of great significance to use effective methods to predict power outage in advance of flood disaster. A method of using random forest classification to predict the probability of power outage in flood disaster is proposed. Firstly, supervised learning, decision tree and ensemble learning methods are introduced as the basis of random forest. Secondly, the basic principle of random forest is elaborated in detail. Thirdly, based on the random forest classification method, according to the steps of feature selection, model training and model evaluation, a flood disaster power outage prediction model is constructed. Finally, a set of data is used to verify and analyze the model, and the performance and accuracy of the model are evaluated. The results show that this method has high accuracy in predicting the probability of power outage in flood disaster, and provides an effective strategy for the prediction of power outage in flood disaster in advance, which has important practical application value.

Precise and fast parameter calculation is very important for online static voltage stability evaluation based on Thevenin equivalent parameter identification. The smaller the deviation between the steady state response characteristic between load node in power system and its Thevenin equivalent means the higher accuracy of the equivalent parameter identification. Based on the definition of node steady-state response, an identification method is proposed in this paper to calculate the optimal Thevenin equivalent parameters according to the minimum deviation of node steady-state response to improve the identification accuracy. Firstly, the objective function is established by minimizing the steady-state response deviation corresponding to the power flow calculation between the load node of power system and its equivalent circuit;then, the sample points on the node's steady-state response characteristic curve are calculated based on the sensitivity of the node load perturbation. Based on the objective function and sample points, the optimal Thevenin equivalent parameters of the node ports are obtained. In order to improve the speed of parameter identification, the parameter calculation process is optimized according to the characteristics of the sample point generation process. Simulation examples verify the accuracy and speed of the proposed Thevenin equivalent parameter calculation method. © 2020 IEEE.

Security and stability control system (SSC) is an important guarantee for the safe operation of power grid, and for HVDC system modulation function is an important kind of stability control measures. Combined with Tianshengqiao-Guangzhou HVDC safety strategy transformation, RTDS simulation test is conducted. In allusion to the exposed defects about SSC handling with multiple DC power modulation orders and sequence coordination between SSC and pole control system, the handling way for the stability control device of Mawo converter station and control characteristics of DC power modulation for pole control system are analyzed in detail. An optimization method of control sequence coordination for stability control system and pole control system is proposed, and tested on the SSC test platform. Test results show the effectiveness of the proposed method, and meanwhile the significance for the design and implementation of SSC scheme of HVDC project with similar techniques. © 2020 IEEE.

Based on Long-Short Term Memory network and Attention Mechanism, a fault location method for the multi-branch distribution network is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the complex nonlinear relationship between the fault distance and the electrical information of the measurement point is derived when the single-phase grounding fault occurs. Secondly, combined with LSTM network, a fault location method based on nested attention mechanism is proposed. Through the proposed nested attention mechanism, fault information features can be effectively extracted, which solves the problem that the traditional fault location methods based on deep learning are difficult to make full use of fault information. Finally, a 10kV distribution network is built in Simulink software for testing, and the results show that the proposed method is robust in different test scenarios.

The expanding penetration of intermittent renewable energy resources is motivating the development of demand response (DR) services for balancing generation and load. Central air conditionings (CACs) are potential candidates due to their thermal energy storage capability. A suitable load model is the foundation for DR services. However, CACs contain multiple control subsystems whose parameters are difficult to obtain because of trade secrets. This paper focuses on the modeling and parameter identification of the constant-speed centrifugal chiller, which accounts for 60-70% of the power of CAC. A thermal-electrical model of a constant-speed centrifugal chiller is established to describe the dynamic operation process. In addition, the critical control parameters and the delay time of control systems are identified based on experimental data for a practical building chiller. The experimental results verified the effectiveness of the proposed model.

Unit commitment (UC) is a central market clearing process in wholesale electricity markets. With the increasing size and complexity of market-clearing models, UC problems become more and more complicated. To improve the computation efficiency, this paper tightens UC formulations with the general start-up ramp rate. Through analyzing their parameters over three periods, units are categorized into several categories for constructing corresponding tight formulations, and three of the categories are beyond existing works. By applying a recent systematic formulation tightening approach on top of these categories, new tight constraints of the general start-up ramp rate have been obtained. Numeral testing results illustrate the tightening process and demonstrate the improvement of computational efficiency when using our tightened formulations. © 2021 IEEE.

10kV distribution lines have low lightning withstand level and are easily affected by direct lightning or induced lightning, leading to insulator flashover or even tripping. In order to study the influence of insulated cross arm on the lightning withstand level of 10kV overhead distribution line combined with the actual situation, this paper first built a 10kV distribution line model, carried out lightning impact comparison test of insulated cross arm and iron cross arm, and obtained the lightning impact insulation strength of tower U50% under different cross arm types. Then, the numerical calculation method of lightning induced overvoltage of 10 kV overhead lines is proposed, and the self-defined lightning induced overvoltage calculation model is established by using MODELS language. Combined with the actual situation of 10kV power supply line of an oil transmission station in southern mountainous area, a co-simulation model of direct lightning strike and induced lightning overvoltage of 10kV distribution line was established by using ATP-EMTP, and the improvement effect of insulation cross arm on lightning resistance level was quantitatively analyzed. Finally, the effect of the device to improve the level of mine resistance is verified by the actual operation. The results show that replacing the iron cross arm of the cement tower with the composite insulating cross arm can significantly improve the lightning impulse insulation strength of the tower by U50%, which has the most significant effect on improving the lightning withstand level of the induced lightning of the line, followed by the lightning withstand level of the top of the lightning rod tower, and the lightning withstand level of the lightning stroke line has little improvement. The research results can provide reference for lightning protection design and transformation of distribution lines.
