In recent years, pre-training models represented by BERT have shown amazing text semantic representation capabilities supported by large-scale corpus, and now have become one of the mainstream solutions for semantic matching tasks in legal Q&A systems. However, pre-training models generally do not set specific pre-training tasks in terms of syntactic information, but implicitly and incidentally learn in large-scale unsupervised, which does not make good use of syntactic information as an important factor for representing semantics. To address this problem, this paper proposes a multi-granularity feature semantic matching model based on BERT and graph convolution. The model first obtains syntactic features of sentences in the form of dependent syntactic trees using existing tools, and then fuses syntactic features with word features and sentence features of BERT using an attention mechanism and graph convolutional neural network to enhance the characterization of text semantics and make the model better for semantic matching tasks. Experimental results show that the algorithm achieves significant improvements in the semantic matching task and outperforms the five comparison methods in the DIAC2019 dataset. Compared to the baseline model Sentenct-BERT, the accuracy, precision, recall and F1 values are improved by 0.33%, 1.18%, 1.03% and 1.05% improvement. © 2023 ACM.

A lithium-sulfur(Li-S)system is an important candidate for future lithium-ion system due to its low cost and high specific theoretical capacity(1675 m Ah/g,2600 Wh/kg),which is greatly hindered by the poor conductivity of sulfur,large volume change and dissolution of lithium ***-dimensional(2D)materials with monolayers or few-layers usually have peculiar structures and physical/chemical properties,which can resolve the critical issues in Li-S ***,the metal-based 2D nanomaterials,including ferrum,cobalt or other metal-based composites with various anions,can provide high conductivity,large surface area and abundant reaction sites for restraining the diffusion for lithium *** this mini-review,we will present an overview of recent developments on metal-based 2D nanomaterials with various anions as the electrode materials for Li-S *** the main bottleneck for the Li-S system is the shuttle of polysulfides,emphasis is placed on the structure and components,physical/chemical interaction and interaction mechanisms of the 2D ***,the challenges and prospects of metal-based 2D nanomaterials for Li-S batteries are discussed and proposed.

Unsupervised Domain Adaptation (UDA) aims to leverage the labeled source data and unlabeled target data to generalize better in the target domain. UDA methods utilize better domain alignment or carefully-designed regularizations to increase the discriminability of target features. However, most methods focus on directly increasing the distance between cluster centers of target features, i.e., enlarging inter-class variance, which intuitively increases the discriminability of target features and is easy to implement. However, due to intra-class variance optimization being under-explored, there are still some samples of the same class are prone to be classified into several classes. To handle this problem, we aim to equip UDA methods with the high smoothness constraint. We first define the model’s smoothness as the predictions similarity within each class, and propose a simple yet effective technique LeCo (impLicit smoothness Constraint) to promote the smoothness. We construct the weak and strong "views" of each target sample and enforce the model predictions of these two views to be consistent. Besides, a new uncertainty measure named Instance Class Confusion conditions the consistency is proposed to guarantee the transferability. LeCo implicitly reduces the model sensitivity to perturbations for target samples and guarantees smaller intra-class variance. Extensive experiments show that the proposed technique improves various baseline approaches by a large margin, and helps yield comparable results to the state-of-the-arts on four public datasets. To address the problems of inaccurate event element extraction, inability to directly handle long texts and errors in the fine-tuning stage of the task due to insufficient semantic information and incomplete semantic feature samples in the current Chinese domain event extraction model, this paper proposes the Chinese Event Extraction Algorithm of Multi-information Semantic Enhancements (MiSE). In the embedding stage, the algorithm is designed a coding structure that fusing multiple information: Using the Roformer model based on rotational encoding for word embedding and text embedding, and augment the Roformer word embedding matrix by mapping the word embedding matrixs of event trigger, argument information and their location information to it , forming an vector matrix that incorporates multiple information;the matrix is then placed into the BiLSTM for forward and backward chain calculation to enhance the model's ability to extract semantic information from Chinese text. In the decoding stage, using the decoding structure to obtain the set of tags with the highest probability. Comparing this algorithm with several Chinese event extraction algorithms on the Baidu DuEE dataset and its extraction results outperformed other event extraction algorithms in all evaluation metrics. © 2023 ACM.

Optimal control of constrained unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) trajectory optimization problem is one of the frontiers and hotspots of UAV research. The various constraints generated by physical limitations and obstacles in the environment increase the difficulties of solving the trajectory optimization problem, especially when the limited sensing ability is taken into consideration. This paper presents the receding horizon optimization method to obtain optimal control for the UAV with limited sensing range in a complex environment with obstacles. To improve efficiency, a path constraint processing method is proposed to reduce the number of constraints in the nonlinear programming problem (NLP). The proposed main structure and detailed algorithm are also given. The numerical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method compared with the classical Gauss pseudospectral method. © 2024 IEEE.

Joint extraction of entities and relations is an essential task in information extraction. Recently, tagging-based models have gained attention but with poor performance on overlapping triplets, which confronted the issues like cascading errors, information redundancy, and sensitivity to subject extraction. To solve the issue of overlapping triplets, we propose a model combined Gated Attention Unit (GAU) and Multi-head Attention Mechanism (MHA) in this paper. This model distinguishes features for entities and relations, and performs entity recognition for each head entity, different head entities are matched to the same or different tail entities. Then specific tail entity tagging is applied to determine all possible relations and corresponding tails. At the same time, in order to better solve the long-distance dependence and complex multiple relations between entities, GAU and MHA are used to enhance the semantic representation, effectively identify entities and relations, and enhance the learning ability and generalization ability of the model. Experiment results on the public datasets DuIE2.0 and CMeIE show that our model performs better than baselines. © 2024 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School. All rights reserved.

Close and efficient cooperation between devices in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) requires precise clock synchronization as a prerequisite. The uncertainty of IIoT networks and the complexity of industrial environments have led to less precise clock synchronization achieved by traditional algorithms and higher network resource consumption. This paper proposes a digital-twin-based clock synchronization scheme for IIoT systems. By building the digital model for each local clock to predict their clock skew, the information interaction required to achieve synchronization is reduced. In order to model the clock accurately, this paper proposes to use the extended state Kalman filter to handle uncertain dynamics and unknown measurement bias to improve the estimation accuracy of clock skew further. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve high- precision clock synchronization while reducing the consumption of network resources. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the problem of varying detection performance and the lack of universal standards for early fault detection in rolling bearings, a method for early fault detection in rolling bearings based on an improved variational modal decomposition (IVMD) and compensation distance (CD) is proposed from the perspective of constructing performance degradation curves. Firstly, the number of modes K for variational mode decomposition (VMD) is adaptively determined using the estimated signal-to-noise ratio (eSNR) method. Secondly, the probability density function (PDF) distribution of the intrinsic mode function (IMF) obtained from the decomposition is calculated, and the compensation distance (CD) degradation evaluation index is constructed by integrating the inter-class and intra-class distances. Then, a sliding window is used to repair the false fluctuations in the CD degradation index based on linear regression equations and the 3 σ principle, resulting in a sensitive degradation index that accurately characterizes the rolling bearing degradation process Improved Compensation Distance (ICD). Finally, the Chebyshev inequality is used to establish the relationship between the healthy threshold and the ICD index, enabling early fault detection in rolling bearings. Comparative analysis of one set of experiments shows that the proposed method can accurately characterize the degradation process of rolling bearings and effectively detect early faults, providing a new solution for early fault diagnosis of bearings. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Night-time images can be generated by various camera sensors in many practical applications, and hence how to effectively evaluate the quality of night-time images is an essential research topic. In this article, we propose a novel blind quality assessment method for night-time images. By analyzing the characteristic of night-time images, we first investigate the statistical properties of local luminance information based on the brightness level division, and then measure the masking effect on color and structure information caused by weak illumination. Finally, all extracted quality-aware features and the associated subjective ratings are trained via support vector regression to build the quality assessment model. Extensive experiments on a real-world night-image database validate the superiority of the proposed method over several state-of-the-art blind image quality metrics. © 2021 IEEE
