The sound source localization of ultrasonic signals generated by pressurized gas leakage was studied. The TDOA based sound source localization algorithm is always used to locate the leakage source. Since the sensors used to locate the sound source are often far from the sound source, and often only far-field models can be applied to estimate the direction of the sound source relative to the sensors. To determine the location of the sound source, it is necessary to take acoustic measurements at different positions around the sound source, such as by using a mobile robot, and fuse the measurement data. In addition, the estimated directions of the sound source usually contain uncertainties due to the noise during the measurements. To localize the sound source precisely and reliably, the D-S evidence theory was carried out in our research, in which an acoustic mass function was constructed to calculate a spatial distribution of the leakage source's location. The proposed method was verified with experiments in which the sound source was simulated with an ultrasonic transmitter, and a linearly and equidistantly distributed microphone linear array was used to estimate the direction where the ultrasonic wave came from. The experimental results show that the proposed method can be used to localize the sound source and has good accuracy and stability. © 2023 IEEE.

With the development of intelligent agents pursuing humanisation,artificial intelligence must consider emotion,the most basic spiritual need in human *** emotional dialogue systems usually use an external emotional dictionary to select appropriate emotional words to add to the response or concatenate emotional tags and semantic features in the decoding step to generate appropriate ***,selecting emotional words from a fixed emotional dictionary may result in loss of the diversity and consistency of the *** propose a semantic and emotion-based dual latent variable generation model(Dual-LVG)for dialogue systems,which is able to generate appropriate emotional responses without an emotional *** from previous work,the conditional variational autoencoder(CVAE)adopts the standard transformer ***,Dual-LVG regularises the CVAE latent space by introducing a dual latent space of semantics and *** content diversity and emotional accuracy of the generated responses are improved by learning emotion and semantic features ***,the average attention mechanism is adopted to better extract semantic features at the sequence level,and the semi-supervised attention mechanism is used in the decoding step to strengthen the fusion of emotional features of the *** results show that Dual-LVG can successfully achieve the effect of generating different content by controlling emotional factors.

The scale of grain production affects human life and development. With the continuous expansion of cultivated land, the reproductive ability of weeds to mutiply gradually increases, which affects the growth of crops. If weeds are not treated properly managed, they can also allow spread indiscriminately in the field and reduce crop yields. The growth ability of weeds is stronger than that of crops, and there are many types of weeds with a wide of species diversity. To solve the problem that the existing weed detection methods cannot detect and classify weeds accurately and quickly, a deep learning method based on improved Yolov5 was designed for weed detection. By replacing the 3 × 3 convolution with multi-head self-attention (MHSA) in the Yolov5's backbone, the accuracy of weed detection is improved. The experimental results show that the improved Yolov5 weed detection algorithm achieves 51.4% accuracy. Compared with the original Yolov5 model, the calculation amount is 3 points less than the original, and total time required is slightly shorter, which improves the accuracy of weed classification and positioning. © 2023 IEEE.

LLaMA-Unidetector: An LLaMA-Based Universal Framework for Open-Vocabulary Object Detection in Remote Sensing Imagery

The object detection is a crucial task in the computer vision for remote sensing applications. However, the reliance of traditional methods on predefined and trained object categories limits their applicability in open-world scenarios. A key challenge in open-vocabulary object detection lies in accurately identifying unseen objects. Existing approaches often focus solely on detecting object locations, struggling to recognize the categories of previously unseen targets. To address this issue, we propose a novel benchmark, where models are trained on known base classes and evaluated on their performance in detecting and recognizing unseen or novel classes. To this end, we introduce LLaMA-Unidetector, a universal framework that incorporates textual information into a closed-set detector, enabling the generalization to open-set scenarios. Our LLaMA-Unidetector leverages a decoupled learning strategy that separates localization and recognition. In the first stage, a class-agnostic detector identifies objects, distinguishing only between foreground and background. In the second stage, the detected foreground objects are passed through TerraOV-LLM, a multimodal large language model (MLLM), for recognition, utilizing the strong generalization capabilities of large language models to infer the correct categories. We propose a self-built vision question answering (VQA) remote sensing dataset, TerraVQA, and conduct extensive experiments on the NWPU-VHR10, DOTA1.0, and DIOR datasets. The LLaMA-Unidetector achieves impressive results, with a performance of 75.46% AP, 50.22% AP, and 51.38% AP on the zero-shot detection benchmarks for the NWPU-VHR10, DOTA1.0, and DIOR datasets, respectively. © 1980-2012 IEEE.

In medical imaging, accurate registration is crucial for reliable analysis. While transformer models demonstrate potential, their application to large datasets like OASIS is constrained by substantial memory requirements, quadratic complexity and the challenge of managing complex deformations. To overcome these challenges, Linearformer is introduced, an efficient transformer-based model with Linear-ProbSparse self-attention for optimised time and memory, along with TNM DVF, a Pyramid-based framework for unsupervised non-rigid registration. Evaluated on OASIS and LPBA40 brain MRI datasets, the model outperforms state-of-the-art methods in Dice score and Jacobian metrics, surpassing TransMatch by 0.6% and 1.9% on the two datasets while maintaining a comparable voxel folding percentage. © 2025 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

A well-designed Physical-Layer Authentication(PLA)scheme should consider three properties:covertness,robustness,and ***,the three properties always cause some dilemmas,e.g.,higher covertness leading to lower *** paper concerns the problem of improving the covertness without sacrificing the *** problem is important because of the following reasons:reducing the errors in recovered source message,improving the security,and ease of constructing a multi-factor authentication *** this paper,we propose three covert PLA schemes to address the *** the first scheme,we improve the covertness by reducing the modification ratio on the source message based on an encoding *** the second scheme,we improve the covertness by optimizing the superimposing angle,which maximizes the minimum distance between the tagged symbols and the boundary line of the demodulation decision for the source *** the third scheme,referred to as the hybrid scheme,we further improve the covertness by jointly using the advantages of both the above two *** experimental results show that when the SNR at a legitimate receiver is 25 dB,as compared with the prior scheme,the first scheme improves the covertness by 17:74%,the second scheme improves the covertness by 28:79%,and the third scheme improves the covertness by 32:09%,while they have similar robustness as Received:Aug.07,2020 Revised:Sep.08,2020 Editor:Nanrun Zhou that of the prior scheme.

Image matching technology is crucial in computer vision applications. However, the traditional SIFT (Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm often faces challenges under adverse conditions, such as a high number of mismatched points and few accurately matched points. Additionally, in practical scenarios, environmental factors like lighting changes and image blurring further reduce image similarity. Therefore, this paper proposes an improved SIFT-based image matching algorithm to address these challenges. First, SIFT is used to extract image features, and a bidirectional FLANN (Fast Library for Approximate Nearest Neighbors) matching strategy is employed to initially filter out incorrect features. Then, the RANSAC (Random Sample Consensus) algorithm is used to screen out unreliable matching point pairs. Finally, the matching accuracy is evaluated based on the remaining pure matching point pairs. Experimental results demonstrate that, compared to the traditional SIFT algorithm, this improved algorithm achieves higher matching accuracy and robustness under adverse conditions, exhibiting superior performance. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the stability analysis of Load frequency control (LFC) systems with time-varying delay is conducted. Firstly, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional is designed to incorporate the relevant information of the delay state. Then, the functional derivatives are estimated using an auxiliary-function-based integral inequality in conjunction with an improved reciprocally convex inequality. Furthermore, the correlation function is processed through a quadratic function negative definite derivation. Finally, case studies established on a one-area LFC system are conducted to demonstrate the superiority of the method, and its accuracy is verified through a simulation case. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper explores the feasibility and effect of using ECG signals in response to virtual reality(VR) emotional stimuli for personality recognition. Personality represents an individual''s behavior pattern, so it has extensive research significance to identify personality. In the field of personality recognition, there have been researches on the use of physiological signals to recognize personality recently, but there have been no studies on personality recognition in VR scenarios. VR technology has been applied in many fields, and in the field of emotion recognition, the advantage of VR video as emotional arousal material has been proved. We designed the emotional stimulation experiment in VR scene to collect ECG signals, and constructed the personality recognition model. The results showed that the F1 scores of neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness using only ECG were 0.79, 0.80, 0.81, 0.73 and 0.81, respectively, which were much higher than the random level. And we found that in VR scenes, negative emotional stimulation can achieve better personality recognition effect. Our results confirm the feasibility of personality recognition using ECG signals in response to VR emotional stimuli. © 2023 ACM.
