The scarcity of fault samples presents a significant challenge for fault diagnosis in industrial processes. Conventional methods often fail to deliver satisfactory results when dealing with small sample sizes. In addressing the issue of small sample fault diagnosis in industrial processes, this paper utilizes the Variational Mode Reconstruction(VMR) algorithm to screen the best components decomposed by the Variational Mode Decomposition(VMD) through the envelope entropy then random weighting them and signal reconstruction to achieve data enhancement, to enrich the sample size and to prevent the model overfitting phenomenon due to the scarcity of samples. Meanwhile, this paper integrates Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Short-term Memory Neural Network (LSTM) to propose a network model of spatio-temporal feature fusion for feature extraction and classification. The experiments demonstrate that this model not only enhances data diversity but also ensures consistency before and after enhancement, effectively mitigating overfitting. Furthermore, it guarantees high recognition and generalization rates in fault diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

A lithium-sulfur(Li-S)system is an important candidate for future lithium-ion system due to its low cost and high specific theoretical capacity(1675 m Ah/g,2600 Wh/kg),which is greatly hindered by the poor conductivity of sulfur,large volume change and dissolution of lithium ***-dimensional(2D)materials with monolayers or few-layers usually have peculiar structures and physical/chemical properties,which can resolve the critical issues in Li-S ***,the metal-based 2D nanomaterials,including ferrum,cobalt or other metal-based composites with various anions,can provide high conductivity,large surface area and abundant reaction sites for restraining the diffusion for lithium *** this mini-review,we will present an overview of recent developments on metal-based 2D nanomaterials with various anions as the electrode materials for Li-S *** the main bottleneck for the Li-S system is the shuttle of polysulfides,emphasis is placed on the structure and components,physical/chemical interaction and interaction mechanisms of the 2D ***,the challenges and prospects of metal-based 2D nanomaterials for Li-S batteries are discussed and proposed.

SCENERY:a lightweight block cipher based on Feistel structure

In this paper,we propose a new lightweight block cipher called *** main purpose of SCENERY design applies to hardware and software *** is a 64-bit block cipher supporting 80-bit keys,and its data processing consists of 28 *** round function of SCENERY consists of 84×4 S-boxes in parallel and a 32× 32 binary matrix,and we can implement SCENERY with some basic logic *** hardware implementation of SCENERY only requires 1438 GE based on 0.18 um CMOS technology,and the software implementation of encrypting or decrypting a block takes approximately 1516 clock cycles 0118-bit microcontrollers and 364 clock cycles on 64-bit *** with other encryption algorithms,the performance of SCENERY is well balanced for both hardware and *** the security analyses,SCENERY can achieve enough security margin against known attacks,such as differential cryptanalysis,linear cryptanalysis,impossible differential cryptanalysis and related-key attacks.

There has been a growing interest in the sidechannel analysis(SCA)field based on deep learning(DL)*** DL network or model has been developed to improve the efficiency of ***,few studies have investigated the impact of the different models on attack results and the exact relationship between power consumption traces and intermediate *** on the convolutional neural network and the autoencoder,this paper proposes a Template Analysis Pre-trained DL Classification model named TAPDC which contains three *** TAPDC model detects the periodicity of power trace,relating power to the intermediate values and mining the deeper features by the multi-layer convolutional *** implement the TAPDC model and compare it with two classical models in a fair *** evaluative results show that the TAPDC model with autoencoder and deep convolution feature extraction structure in SCA can more effectively extract information from power consumption ***,Using the classifier layer,this model links power information to the probability of intermediate *** completes the conversion from power trace to intermediate values and greatly improves the efficiency of the power attack.

Object-Aware Video Matting with Cross-Frame Guidance

Recently, trimap-free methods have drawn increasing attention in human video matting due to their promising performance. Nevertheless, these methods still suffer from the lack of deterministic foreground-background cues, which impairs their ability to consistently identify and locate foreground targets over time and mine fine-grained details. In this paper, we present a trimap-free Object-Aware Video Matting (OAVM) framework, which can perceive different objects, enabling joint recognition of foreground objects and refinement of edge details. Specifically, we propose an Object-Guided Correction and Refinement (OGCR) module, which employs cross-frame guidance to aggregate object-level instance information into pixel-level detail features, thereby promoting their synergy. Furthermore, we design a Sequential Foreground Merging augmentation strategy to diversify sequential scenarios and enhance capacity of the network for object discrimination. Extensive experiments on recent widely used synthetic and real-world benchmarks demonstrate the state-of-the-art performance of our OAVM with only an initial coarse mask. This study introduces an innovative approach for gesture recognition in smart wearable devices using a deep domain adaptation model, focusing on the challenges posed by heterogeneous user environments and the need for precise, adaptable, and personalized gesture recognition systems. Traditional methods based on machine learning and deep learning techniques, while effective, struggle with the variance in data distribution among different users, leading to accuracy challenges. To address this,the study proposes the Domain Kernel-Alignment Adaptation Network(DKAN) model, utilizing a new Kernel-Aligned Multi-kernel Maximum Mean Discrepancy(KAMMD) method within deep networks. By calculating kernel alignments between source and target domains and adjusting weights of Gaussian kernels accordingly, DKAN emphasizes features conducive to transfer learning, enabling more accurate cross-user gesture recognition. The model achieves a significant average accuracy of 97.3% across 21 gestures, highlighting its potential in practical applications. This advancement addresses challenges in traditional gesture recognition methods and sets a new direction for future research in smart wearable technology.

Due to the constraints of manufacturing and materials,high-power plants cannot rely on only one solid oxide fuel cell stack.A multi-stack system is a solution for a highpower system,which consists of multiple fuel cell stacks.A short lifetime is one of the main challenges for the fuel cell before largescale commercial applications,and prognostic is an important method to improve the reliability of fuel *** from the traditional prognostic approaches applied to single-stack fuel cell systems,the key problem in multi-stack prediction is how to solve the correlation of multi-stack degradation,which can directly affect the accuracy of *** response to this difficulty,a standard Brownian motion is added to the traditional Wiener process to model the degradation of each stack,and then the probability density function of the remaining useful life(RUL)of each stack is ***,a Copula function is adopted to reflect the dependence between life distributions,so as to obtain the remaining useful life for the whole multi-stack system.1 The simulation results show that compared with the traditional prediction model,the proposed approach has a higher prediction accuracy for multi-stack fuel cell systems.

Spatial transcriptomics data provides a unique opportunity to investigate both gene expression and spatial structure in tissues at the same time. However, incorporating spatial information to accurately identify spatial domains is difficult due to factors such as high-dimensionality, sparsity, noise, and dropout events. To address these issues, we introduce vGraphST, a novel graph-based deep learning approach tailored for spatial transcriptomics data. Our method combines auto-encoder and contrastive learning techniques to process high-dimensional data and generate meaningful low-dimensional embeddings. Additionally, we use continuous distributions instead of discrete values in both the latent space and the denoised gene expression space. Specifically, Gaussian distributions are used to model the latent space, while zero-inflated Poisson distributions are used to model the denoised gene expression space. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of vGraphST in accurately representing and analyzing spatial transcriptomics data. When compared to other methods using the DLPFC dataset, vGraphST achieves an average Adjusted Rand Index (ARI) of 0.58, demonstrating its superiority in segmenting spatial domains and recognizing biologically relevant spatiotemporal patterns. © 2023 IEEE.

Structure-free containment control for uncertain underactuated multiple Euler-Lagrange systems

This article studies the problem of structure-free distributed containment control for uncertain underactuated multiple Euler-Lagrange systems(MELSs) considering disturbances by using a layered approach. First, the second layer is the virtual layer constructed artificially for hierarchical control. We move all virtual nodes to the convex hull formed by leaders in the first layer by implementing containment control algorithms on all virtual nodes. Then, the third layer is the following layer, and we propose an adaptive robust tracking controller to ensure that each follower in the third layer tracks the corresponding virtual node in the second layer. So far, the underactuated MELSs can achieve containment control. Furthermore,through the theoretical derivation, sufficient conditions are obtained to achieve the objective of structure-free containment control. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed stratified structure-free containment control method is verified by a simulation example.
