This paper investigates the anomaly-resistant decentralized state estimation(SE) problem for a class of wide-area power systems which are divided into several non-overlapping areas connected through transmission lines. Two classes of measurements(i.e., local measurements and edge measurements) are obtained, respectively, from the individual area and the transmission lines. A decentralized state estimator, whose performance is resistant against measurement with anomalies, is designed based on the minimum error entropy with fiducial points(MEEF) criterion. Specifically, 1) An augmented model, which incorporates the local prediction and local measurement, is developed by resorting to the unscented transformation approach and the statistical linearization approach;2) Using the augmented model, an MEEF-based cost function is designed that reflects the local prediction errors of the state and the measurement;and 3) The local estimate is first obtained by minimizing the MEEF-based cost function through a fixed-point iteration and then updated by using the edge measuring information. Finally, simulation experiments with three scenarios are carried out on the IEEE 14-bus system to illustrate the validity of the proposed anomaly-resistant decentralized SE scheme.

sEMG (surface electromyography) signal control of bionic prostheses has been widely studied over the past few years. In particular, sparse sEMG signals are rapidly developing in the field of gesture recognition for their convenience, noninvasiveness, and ease of access. However, compared with high-density EMG signals, sparse EMG signals lack rich feature information, which in turn affects gesture recognition accuracy. In order to reduce the loss of feature information of sparse EMG signals in the spatio-temporal dimension, this paper proposes a hybrid neural network Res-LSTM combining residual network and long short-term memory network. The ordinary convolutional blocks in the CNN network are replaced with residual blocks, and the final fully connected layer is removed and a constant mapping layer is added to adequate extraction of spatial feature information of the data. The Res layer’s output is utilized as the input for the long and short-term memory (LSTM) network, which further extracts the features of the data in the temporal dimension, and finally completes the categorization output through a fully connected layer. The average accuracy of 91.11% for gesture-motion classification was verified by training on a homebrew dataset;and tested on a public dataset, NinaPro DB1, with an average accuracy of 91.03%. The experimental findings indicate that the proposed Res-LSTM network framework contributes to solving the problem of lack of feature information of sparse sEMG signals and improves the pattern recognition accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Open-vocabulary semantic segmentation is a challenging task, which requires the model to output semantic masks of an image beyond a close-set vocabulary. Although many efforts have been made to utilize powerful CLIP models to accomplish this task, they are still easily overfitting to training classes due to the natural gaps in semantic information between training and new classes. To overcome this challenge, we propose a novel framework for open-vocabulary semantic segmentation called EBSeg, incorpo-rating an Adaptively Balanced Decoder (AdaB Decoder) and a Semantic Structure Consistency loss (SSC Loss). The AdaB Decoder is designed to generate different image embeddings for both training and new classes. Subsequently, these two types of embeddings are adaptively balanced to fully exploit their ability to recognize training classes and generalization ability for new classes. To learn a consistent semantic structure from CLIP, the SSC Loss aligns the inter-classes affinity in the image feature space with that in the text feature space of CLIP, thereby improving the generalization ability of our model. Furthermore, we employ a frozen SAM image encoder to complement the spatial information that CLIP features lack due to the low training image resolution and image-level supervision inherent in CLIP. Extensive experiments conducted across various benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed EBSeg outperforms the state-of-the-art methods. The technology of software-defined changing all areas of life, but the equipment storage system in the field of application is still in its infancy. At present, the traditional equipment warehousing scheduling system is difficult to meet the new needs of rapid scheduling and flexible maintenance of large quantities of equipment. Based on the development and application characteristics of software definition technology, this paper integrates the traditional equipment storage scheduling system and presents the research on the architecture design technology of equipment storage scheduling system under software definition technology. This paper clarifies the key application technologies of the system, realizes the design of new open system architecture based on software-defined technology and the optimization design of system center service platform architecture, and improves the architecture design ability of automation, configuration ability, and easy maintenance of the existing equipment storage scheduling system. The limited number of labeled samples can significantly affect the accuracy of speech lie detection systems. However, semi-supervised algorithms have been shown to effectively improve detection performance under such constraints. To address this challenge, this paper proposes a semi-supervised speech lie detection algorithm that utilizes multiple features and adaptive thresholds. First, through comparative analysis, this paper identifies 312-dimensional acoustic features and 768-dimensional self-supervised features as the key elements of lie detection. Then, these acoustic features are processed using a bidirectional long short-term memory network (Bi-LSTM), which obtains comprehensive information by analyzing acoustic statistical features in both forward and backward directions. Subsequently, this paper develops a semi-supervised feature fusion module (BSFM) to extract deeper insights from basic features and achieves adaptive feature fusion through targeted training. In addition, based on a detailed analysis of the distribution characteristics of lie detection samples, this paper proposes an improved Freematch algorithm to better utilize unlabeled data. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms most existing methods on the self-built H-Wolf dataset and the Columbia/SRI/Colorado Corpus (CSC). © (2025), (International Association of Engineers). Fabrication of Aramid Cord Fabric/Titanium Dioxide Polymer Material and its Superhydrophobic Properties

Aramid cord fabric is a novel polymer material with high strength, modulus, low thermal shrinkage, and good dimensional stability. It finds wide applications in marine development, oil exploration, transportation, special tires, and other fields. However, limited research has examined aramid cord fabrics' super-hydrophobic applications. Therefore, constructing a super-hydrophobic aramid cord fabric polymer material is necessary. This study utilized a simple surface sprinkling powder method to scatter titanium dioxide (TiO2) particles onto the rubber surface of aramid cord fabric. Through high-temperature and high-pressure processes, a TiO2/natural rubber (NR) polymer material with a superhydrophobic surface was created. The microstructure of the superhydrophobic surface was examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) was employed for qualitative analysis of substances on the superhydrophobic surface. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was used to understand the nature of surface functional *** hydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties of the surface were evaluated using a contact angle meter and self-cleaning tests, respectively. Additionally, the mechanical durability of the superhydrophobic surface was tested through linear abrasion on sandpaper. The results indicated that increasing the TiO2 particle content enhanced both the hydrophobicity and mechanical durability of the TiO2/NR surface. When the TiO2 mass fraction reached 3%, the static contact angle (CA) of the TiO2/NR surface reached 160.1±3°, and the surface maintained its superhydrophobicity even after 150 abrasion cycles under a pressure of 2 kPa. Furthermore, the TiO2/NR superhydrophobic surface exhibited excellent self-cleaning properties. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Mobile wheeled inverted pendulum (MWIP) is a typical naturally unstable underactuated system and it is very necessary to constrain its transient response to improve the overall safety. Prescribed performance control (PPC) is an effective method, however the system initial conditions are usually required to be known and constraint, otherwise it can lead to singularity problems. In practical systems, it is often difficult to obtain the exact initial state leading to limitations in the application of PPC. To overcome this issue, this paper presented a composite error transformation function to address the problem of initial condition dependence. A continuous bounded function was designed to compress the arbitrary initial error into the predefined bound to avoid singularities. After a set time, it was degraded to an original system error. Based on this composite transformation, a state feedback controller was proposed for the underactuated MWIP system to achieve the constraint outputs. Then, by employing the Lyapunov theorem, it was guaranteed that the closed-loop system would remain stable. Various numerical simulations under different initial conditions were carried out to prove the validity of the proposed controller. © 2023 IEEE.

Bearing remaining useful life(RUL) prediction is critical for safe operation of rotating *** this paper,we propose a combined RUL prediction approach that leverages both trajectory similarity and relevance vector machine(RVM).The similarity based prediction relies on historical degradation trajectories that are highly similar to the online data,hence would perform poorly if all historical trajectories have low similarity with the online *** RVM based prediction relies solely on a regression model learned from the available online data,thus gives an inaccurate prediction when insufficient data are available in the early stage of degradation.A weighted sum of these above two predictions is proposed to address the limitation of each single prediction method,whose weights are determined by solving a non-negative least squares fitting *** further improve RUL prediction accuracy,we distinguish between fast and slow degradation modes,so that each mode uses a different set of historical degradation trajectories and kernel *** doing so,we predict RUL under the identified *** case study using the PHM2012 dataset demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed RUL prediction approach.
