Siamese Interaction and Fine-Tuning Representation of Chinese Semantic Matching Algorithm Based on RoBERTa-wwm-ext

Semantic matching research is the cornerstone of research in the fields of natural language similarity measurement and sensor ontology matching (OM). In the existing Chinese semantic matching methods, there are some shortcomings, such as the single dimension of semantic expression, the insufficient expression of context semantic relations, and the insufficient interaction of semantic information between different sentences. This paper proposes a Chinese semantic matching algorithm based on RoBERTa-wwm-ext with Siamese interaction and fine-tuning representation (RSIFR). The RSIFR model initializes the model with RoBERTa-wwm-ext as a vector of text. Firstly, a Siamese structure with embedded soft alignment attention mechanism and BiLSTM is constructed to realize the information interaction between two sentences. Secondly, LSTM-BiLSTM network structure is constructed to enhance the expression of semantic logic before and after sentences. Then, build a training model with fine-tuning mechanism. Fine tune the text's eigenvector parameters through label supervision. Finally, the fusion vectors of the sentence pairs are inserted into the MLP network layer, resulting in semantic matching results. RSIFR model starts from a variety of dimensions, strengthens the expression ability of vectors to text semantic relations, deeply mines the semantic similarities and differences between different sentences, and generally improves the Chinese semantic matching performance. Experiments on the public dataset LCQMC show that our model outperforms existing Chinese semantic matching models. © 2023 Baohua Qiang et al.

High-voltage transmission lines are the main artery for power transmission, dampers, insulators and drainage plates are typical hardware on transmission lines. The harsh service environment will damage transmission line hardware and seriously affect the safety and stable operation of transmission lines. The electrical power robots are used to carry out transmission line maintenance operations. It is of great significance to improve work safety and work efficiency. Through the analysis of typical hardware maintenance tasks, it can be seen that most of the operations require the coordinated movement of the double arms to complete. Based on this, this paper proposes a basic configuration of a double-arm collaborative robot. At the same time, based on the polynomial interpolation theory, the robot arm motion trajectory planning is carried out, and then the trajectory planning simulation model of the robot manipulator in the MATLAB environment has been established and the trajectory simulation research has been carried out on the robot manipulator to reconstruct the end tool and the manipulator to carry the end tool to the work point. The simulation results show that compared with the single-arm operation mode, the cooperative operation of the double arms can not only improve the operation efficiency, but also complete some tasks that cannot be completed by the single-arm operation, the research in this paper has important theoretical significance and practical application value for the intelligent operation and maintenance management of transmission network. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Seeking a Sense of Meaning and Companionship in Life: Informal Learning on Douyin Among Chinese Older Adults

This study examines how Chinese older adults leverage Douyin, a short video platform, for informal learning purposes, analyzing their usage patterns, motivations, and encountered challenges. Although Douyin was not explicitly designed with educational features, it has emerged as a significant informal learning platform for this demographic. Through a qualitative investigation comprising participant observations and semi-structured interviews with 17 participants, we reveal the distinctive learning experience that Douyin facilitates. The platform’s unique combination of short-form videos, live streaming capabilities, and interactive community features creates an engaging learning environment that particularly resonates with older adults. Our findings demonstrate that participants derive substantial social-emotional benefits beyond knowledge acquisition, including strengthened social connections, enhanced companionship, and a reinforced sense of purpose through their Douyin engagement. These social-emotional aspects emerge as crucial factors driving older adults’ selection of Douyin as their preferred learning platform. By providing comprehensive insights into older adults’ engagement with digital platforms for lifelong learning, this research offers valuable implications for HCI, particularly in understanding how technology can be optimized to support the learning needs of older populations. © 2025 Association for Computing Machinery. Oversampling techniques have always been favored in the field of imbalanced data classification. Noise processing plays an important role in the field of unbalanced data classification because the noise data directly affects the distribution of newly synthesized samples. We propose a new anti-noise hybrid clustering oversampling technique for imbalanced data classification to synthesize high-quality samples (ANCO). The algorithm is the first to propose a combination of noise filtering and optimization in an oversampling method. Firstly, based on the sample location information, the processing strategy of noise filtering and optimization is designed. Then, sample nearest neighbor interpolation is used to create a new sample. To compare the performance of our approach with representative oversampling, five datasets with variable imbalance rates in KEEL are chosen for testing. The results show that the ANCO algorithm improves the classifier's overall performance. © 2022 ACM.

In this paper, the problem of guarding a circular area is proposed and solved using a Stackelberg differential game theoretic approach. The objective of the attacker is to breach the perimeter of the defended area, while the defenders endeavor to thwart such attempts. The dynamics of the attack-defense game are modeled according to the distance and position relations among defenders, attackers, and the center of defense area. The optimal Stackelberg equilibrium control strategies for both defenders and attackers are designed to guarantee the defense mission's success. Then, the effectiveness of the proposed method is validated through numerical simulation.

In the digitalized society, end-to-end security communication is receiving increasing attention. Issues such as ma-licious sender impersonation and over-privilege communication continue to prevail in end-to-end communication. This paper pro-poses a policy-controlled signature scheme aimed at addressing these concerns through identity verification and permission man-agement, thus establishing a secure mode of communication. The scheme designs policy-controlled signatures with partial policy hiding functionality, employing expressive access structures and garbled Bloom Filter (GBF) to protect the sender's attributes. In comparison to related approaches, this scheme provides benefits in terms of signature computation cost, thereby enhancing the resilience and efficiency of the communication system against attacks. © 2024 IEEE.

Global contextual dependency is of significance for semantic segmentation from light fields. However, previous works mostly exploit attention mechanisms to model spatial context dependency and angular context dependency separately, since a light field capture is very data-intensive. Considering that self-attention is resource-consuming, existing methods only use it to capture spatial contextual dependency for the central view of light fields, and employ resource-efficient attention mechanisms to model angular view dependencies instead. Inspired by the recent success of State Space Sequence model (SSM), we present a novel SSM-based encoder for light field semantic segmentation, which models spatio-angular contextual dependency together. The proposed method is evaluated on the existing light field semantic segmentation datasets, and experimental results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms previous state-of-the-art methods. In order to mitigate the adverse impact of denial of service (DoS) attacks, this work designs a parameter self-tuning controller based on fuzzy rules for vehicle platoons with vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. Aiming at achieving the cooperative adaptive cruise control (CACC) of the vehicles with a required inter-vehicle distance and the same velocity, while considering the possible DoS attacks, we propose a parameter self-tuning longitudinal controller combining linear control and fuzzy control to enhance the stability and resilience of the platoon systems. Firstly, by analyzing the dynamic characteristics of vehicles and the mechanism of DoS attacks, we establish the dynamic model of vehicle platoons and model the impact of random DoS attacks as a constant data transmission delay, whose probability distribution can be defined using the Bernoulli random variable. Then, a linear controller based on fuzzy control is designed for longitudinal control to guarantee that the platoon keeps a reference velocity and the specified inter-vehicle distance under DoS attacks. Finally, thorough simulations are performed and the detailed results show the performance of the secure longitudinal control scheme for vehicle platoons in terms of stability and security. © 2023 IEEE.

The transformational and spatial proximities are important cues for identifying inliers from an appearance based match set because correct matches generally stay close in input images and share similar local transformations. However, most existing approaches only check one type of them or both types consecutively with manually set thresholds, and thus their matching accuracy and flexibility in handling large-scale images are limited. In this paper, we present an efficient clustering based approach to identify match inliers with both proximities simultaneously. It first projects the putative matches into a joint transformational-spatial space, where mismatches tend to scatter all around while correct matches gather together. A mode-seeking process based on joint kernel density estimation is then proposed to obtain significant clusters in the joint space, where each cluster contains matches mapping the same object across images with high accuracy. Moreover, kernel bandwidths for measuring match proximities are adaptively set during density estimation, which enhances its applicability for matching different images. Experiments on three standard datasets show that the proposed approach delivers superior performance on a variety of feature matching tasks, including multi-object matching, duplicate object matching and object retrieval. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
