This study derived a solution method for Doppler shift positioning of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and built a simulation environment for satellite constellation. Addressing the numerical instability and convergence issues of the Gauss-Newton (G-N) iterative algorithm in the solution process, an improved solution method based on the Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm was proposed. By conducting experiments with different error terms introduced and comparing the experimental results of various methods, it was found that the LM algorithm exhibited superior positioning accuracy in both single-error and mixed-error scenarios. Furthermore, to tackle the sensitivity of the Doppler shift positioning algorithm for low Earth orbit satellites to initial values, a grid search-based method for determining initial values was proposed, thereby reducing the impact of initial values on the positioning results.

Diffusion models are powerful generative models, and this capability can also be applied to discrimination. The inner activations of a pre-trained diffusion model can serve as features for discriminative tasks, namely, diffusion feature. We discover that diffusion feature has been hindered by a hidden yet universal phenomenon that we call content shift. To be specific, there are content differences between features and the input image, such as the exact shape of a certain object. We locate the cause of content shift as one inherent characteristic of diffusion models, which suggests the broad existence of this phenomenon in diffusion feature. Further empirical study also indicates that its negative impact is not negligible even when content shift is not visually perceivable. Hence, we propose to suppress content shift to enhance the overall quality of diffusion features. Specifically, content shift is related to the information drift during the process of recovering an image from the noisy input, pointing out the possibility of turning off-the-shelf generation techniques into tools for content shift suppression. We further propose a practical guideline named GATE to efficiently evaluate the potential benefit of a technique and provide an implementation of our methodology. Despite the simplicity, the proposed approach has achieved superior results on various tasks and datasets, validating its potential as a generic booster for diffusion features. Smart contracts are programs that run on a blockchain, where Ethereum is one of the most popular ones supporting them. Due to the fact that they are immutable, it is essential to design smart contracts bug-free before they are deployed. However, various defects have been found in the deployed smart contracts, causing huge economic losses and lowing people's trust. Writing secure smart contracts is far from trivial, where developers tend to engage in reliable resources or social coding platforms to reuse code. This leads to a large number of similar contracts with potential security risks. Therefore, detecting similarity of smart contracts helps to avoid vulnerabilities, identify threats, and improve the security of Ethereum. In this paper, we design a learning-effective and cost-efficient model, called SmartSD, for Ethereum smart contract similarity detection. Different from the current research efforts, SmartSD is performed on a bytecode level and leverages deep neural networks to learn the latent representations from the opcode sequences for smart contract bytecodes, where the representation learning and similarity measurement are supervised via siamese neural networks. The experimental evaluations demonstrate that SmartSD outperforms EClone's 93.27% accuracy, achieving 98.37% high detection accuracy and 0.9850 F1-score, which is computationally tractable and effectively mitigates the interference caused by compilers. © 2022 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School. In this paper, a differential bandpass filter (BPF) based on enhanced coupling line structure has been suggested in this study. Two out-of-band transmission zeros are added to the differential mode by loading the coupling line at the output terminal, which raises the rectangular coefficient of the filter. Two common mode transmission zeros in the passband are additionally provided by the open/short stub that is already loaded at the output port. To accommodate the demands of various filter performances, the location of the transmission zeros can be modified by altering the values of the coupling lines' and stubs' impedances. Finally, the passband common mode suppression might be as high as 40 dB.

StylizedGS: Controllable Stylization for 3D Gaussian Splatting

With the rapid development of XR, 3D generation and editing are becoming more and more important, among which, stylization is an important tool of 3D appearance editing. It can achieve consistent 3D artistic stylization given a single reference style image and thus is a user-friendly editing way. However, recent NeRF-based 3D stylization methods face efficiency issues that affect the actual user experience and the implicit nature limits its ability to transfer the geometric pattern styles. Additionally, the ability for artists to exert flexible control over stylized scenes is considered highly desirable, fostering an environment conducive to creative exploration. In this paper, we introduce StylizedGS, a 3D neural style transfer framework with adaptable control over perceptual factors based on 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) representation. The 3DGS brings the benefits of high efficiency. We propose a GS filter to eliminate floaters in the reconstruction which affects the stylization effects before stylization. Then the nearest neighbor-based style loss is introduced to achieve stylization by fine-tuning the geometry and color parameters of 3DGS, while a depth preservation loss with other regularizations is proposed to prevent the tampering of geometry content. Moreover, facilitated by specially designed losses, StylizedGS enables users to control color, stylized scale and regions during the stylization to possess customized capabilities. Our method can attain high-quality stylization results characterized by faithful brushstrokes and geometric consistency with flexible controls. Extensive experiments across various scenes and styles demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our method concerning both stylization quality and inference FPS. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. A wideband high isolation circularly polarized antenna for 5G MIMO millimeter-wave systems is presented in this paper. The presented antenna exhibits wideband characteristics due to the resonance of surface waves along the metasurface. The circularly polarized preliminary bandwidth is achieved by truncated corner patches when the truncation can be adjusted to implement the phase and amplitude values of the two quadrature modes. The port isolation is improved by the resonance of double-layer microstrip lines in the frequency. The size of the antenna is 17.8×17.8×1.02 mm 3 , the impedance bandwidth is 30.4% (23.29-31.66 GHz) and the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 20.5% (24.47-30.12 GHz). In addition, the port isolation of the presented antenna is higher than 25 dB, and the peak gain is 8.4 dB. Therefore, the given antenna has the advantages of wideband, circularly polarized and high isolation.

A spatial light modulator based on inf-wavelength gold grating structure, named GLCoS by us, has been devised and tested to meet the challenge of the high space-bandwidth product in holographic video display. A sample GLCoS has been made and its display color appears green. However, if it is to be a device of a display system, its color characteristics must be further investigated, that is, its ability to display RGB color and its color purity. There are two MIM (Metal-Insulator-Metal) in the GLCoS, inf-wavelength gold grating plus liquid crystal cell and aluminum electrode forms a hybridized MIM and inf-wavelength gold grating itself is a MIM acting as an open-end TM-FP (TM-Fabry-Pérot) resonator. Based on our previous study involving GLCoS theoretical model, simulation software platform (FDTD plus CST Studio Suite) and an experimentally verified sample of single color, we seek an engineering way with simplicity and compatibility in the sense of the technique to investigate the red-green-blue (RGB) color display with GLCoS. Among the huge parameter space including the geometry and size of the structure, material, wavelength and light incident angle. We choose to change width of the slit, incident angle, LC (liquid crystal) birefringence to find the appropriate GLCoS spectral characteristics. The simulation results show that the dynamic modulation of the RGB phase can be achieved in the visible light band, and its amount of phase modulation is close to 2π and high chromatographic purity. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. Recently, symmetric linear nonuniform arrays (SLNAs) have been promoted for hybrid near-field (NF) and far-field (FF) source localization. A new SLNA based on symmetric nested array (SNA) is presented in the paper. The proposed array and its difference coarray (DCA) configuration can be expressed in closed-form. Comparing to the existing SLNAs with same sensors number, the proposed array can locate more sources and provide longer consecutive lags, which optimizes the detection results. Simulation results prove that the designed array outperforms traditional compressed symmetric nested array (CSNA).

In reality, galleries usually display paintings in a protective manner, partly to delay the damage to the original artwork and ensure the long-term preservation of the artwork. On the other hand, it also hinders visitors’ deep appreciation and learning of the artwork. In the face of this challenge, our research aims to provide users with immersive viewing and entertainment, as well as interactive gaming experiences with artwork, through the use of virtual reality technology. So the paper proposes PaintingScapeVR, which is based on a virtual gallery and reproduces the three-dimensional scenes corresponding to different paintings. Visitors can freely explore in this virtual environment and gain a deeper understanding of the meaning and artistic value of artworks through interaction with them. Our results indicate that the reproduction of 3D scenes and gamified interactive design can not only significantly enhance visitors’ appreciation of painting art, but also leave a deeper learning impression. This immersive experience stimulates visitors’ desire to appreciate and explore, prompting them to actively delve into the background and techniques of art works, thereby enhancing their artistic appreciation abilities.
