The proper control of the ratio of ore to coke distribution(ROCD) can achieve energy saving of the blast furnace(BF).In order to achieve the desired ROCD,it is meaningful to search best charging system(especially the burden matrix).This paper deals with the problem of burden distribution control based on the adaptive genetic algorithm and multi-radar ***,the definition of the ratio of ore to coke(ROC) and the desired ROCD are ***,according to the desired ROCD,the concrete steps of searching the best burden matrices are presented based on the adaptive genetic ***,the operators of the adaptive genetic algorithm(especially the mutation operator) are properly adjusted,according to the actual production process of the bell-less ***,three computational experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.

The burden distribution real-time estimation problem of multi-loop charging based on the real multi-radar data is *** , an iterative algorithm is introduced to calculate the radial coordinate of the *** , based on the multi-radar data , the burden profile is estimated by a cubic-curve equation at the end of the multi-loop *** , the burden profile before the next multi-loop charging is calculated based on multi-radar data by considering the impact of burden *** the basis of these burden profiles , a more accurate thickness ratio of ore to coke （ RO/C ） at the radial direction of blast furnace can be *** , an example is given to calculate the burden profiles and RO/C by using the real multi-radar data sampled from Baosteel , which shows the effectiveness of the method introduced.

Robust attitude decentralized tracking control problem for a 3-DOF helicopter is investigated. The model of the 3-DOF helicopter is described as a MIMO strict-feedback form system with unknown parameters, bounded disturbances, nonlinear uncertain coupling effects and unknown input-delay. A new design method based on signal compensation technique and back-stepping strategy is proposed. Based on the signal compensation method, at each backstepping design step, a robust controller consists of a nominal controller and a robust compensator. Robust practical tracking stability condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

In this paper, 2-D MIMO antenna arrays suitable for high resolution burden surface imaging radar operating in frequency band 24-26GHz are proposed. In order to eliminate the cross-range resolution degradation when the antenna beam radiates to the burden surface in nonperpendicular angle, MIMO antenna arrays with elliptical cross-section beam are specially designed. To suppress the high side lobe level of these designed MIMO arrays, two MIMO array sparse methods by symmetrically sparse the arrays with denser elements in the centre and sparse elements around are presented and analyzed. Patterns of the designed MIMO arrays are simulated, which verified the effectiveness of the MIMO arrays for burden surface imaging.

This paper proposes a new incremental learning method based on weighted constraints support vector regression, called ***,a modified nearest neighbor clustering method is used to partition the whole input space into several ***,according to the distance distinguish condition,all the samples in sub-cluster are identified to form the candidate support vector *** each new sample added,it was clustered to an individual candidate support vector subset where the cluster center is the closest to the new ***,in the WCSVR learning process,the object function is modified by introducing a weight for each new sample and the corresponding regularization *** experiment shows prominence of our proposed incremental method in comparison with the standard SVR.

The model of NCS (Networked control Systems) with reduced dimension observer is presented when the network-induced random time-varying delays are bounded and the upper bound of which is longer than one sampling period. Thus we established a discrete-time jump system model with Markov delay. Based on this, this paper gave also design method of stabilizing controllers by the optimization method. This paper generalizes previous results on delay-less reduced dimension observer systems. Theoretical analysis and simulation on a cart and inverted pendulum with random time delay show that feedback control Based on reduced dimension observer can make the system stable. © 2013 IEEE.

Quality-related fault detection attracted more and more attention in quality control and process monitoring. In recent literature, reconstruction based contributions (RBC) are used for isolating faulty variables which affect product quality. If datasets of known faults are available, fault-specific RBCs are used to identify fault types. Otherwise, variable RBCs are used to isolate faulty variables. However, the existing generalized RBC are quite improvable. On one side, fault-specific RBC can not tell faulty variables, which makes it hard to locate fault root. On the other side, it is well known that the variable RBC suffers a lot from the smearing effect, which provides too many candidates of faulty variables. In the present work, a new usage of RBC is derived to select faulty variables without smearing effect on non- faulty variables. The benchmark examples of Tennessee Eastman (TE) process is used to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach for quality-related fault diagnosis.

This paper focuses on the admissibility condition for fractional-order singular system with order α∈(0, 1). The definitions of regularity, impulse-free and admissibility are given first, then a sufcient and necessary condition of admissibility for fractional-order singular system is established. A numerical example is included to illustrate the proposed condition.
