Semantic segmentation is widely used in remote sensing data extraction and classification. Existing semantic segmentation networks focus on capturing contextual information in many different ways, simply fusing features at different levels, and ultimately improving the accuracy of semantic segmentation. However, low-level semantic features lack spatial context guidance, and high-level semantic features tend to encode large objects with coarse spatial details, making segmentation results prone to losing fine details. In this paper, we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of different levels of feature maps, and enhance the feature representation from two aspects to solve this problem. On the one hand, inspired by the architectural idea of atrous spatial pyramic pooling (ASPP), we adjust the structure of ASPP module and add the attention module to ASPP, and a new Attention-ASPP(AASPP) module is constructed in this paper. On the other hand, feature information such as boundary contours is enhanced by channel attention modeling, thereby improving local detail representation. Comprehensive experimental results show that our model framework achieves excellent segmentation performance on two public datasets, WHU building dataset and ISPRS Potsdam dataset. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to efficiently solve the vehicle routing problem with time window (VRPTW), a hyper-heuristic algorithm based on reinforcement learning was proposed. Firstly, the performance of the underlying heuristic algorithm was evaluated, and then a multi-armed bandit (MAB) algorithm was used to select the low-level heuristic algorithm. At the same time, a simulated annealing-based acceptance rule was used to determine whether to accept the solution obtained by each low-level heuristic to ensure the diversity of solutions. Experiments was carried out on some VRPTW benchmark instances, and the results show that the proposed algorithm is effective and stable. © 2023 SPIE.

Image denoising has always been a hot research topic in the field of computer vision, playing an important role in improving image quality and accuracy. In this paper, a method for image denoising based on residual network is proposed, which uses deep learning technology to improve the effect of image processing. This method can automatically learn useful features in the image and effectively remove noise in the image, achieving automatic removal of image noise. Finally, experiments were conducted on standard image datasets for evaluation. The experimental results show that the image denoising method based on residual network has better performance compared to traditional methods. It can effectively remove various types of noise, improve image quality and clarity, and has broad application prospects in image processing. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. In a multi-cloud storage system, provenance data records all operations and ownership during its lifecycle, which is critical for data security and audibility. However, recording provenance data also poses some challenging security and storage issues. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient multi-cloud storage data source scheme, BMDP. We use blockchain technology to ensure the secure storage of provenance data and design a smart contract to utilize the provenance data to ensure the proper operation of the multi-cloud storage system. Finally, we analyze the scheme's safety and do simulation experiments to show that the scheme has practicality. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to study the characteristics of pure fly ash-based geopolymer concrete(PFGC)conveniently,we used a machine learning method that can quantify the perception of characteristics to predict its compressive *** this study,505 groups of data were collected,and a new database of compressive strength of PFGC was *** order to establish an accurate prediction model of compressive strength,five different types of machine learning networks were used for comparative *** five machine learning models all showed good compressive strength prediction performance on *** them,R2,MSE,RMSE and MAE of decision tree model(DT)are 0.99,1.58,1.25,and 0.25,*** R2,MSE,RMSE and MAE of random forest model(RF)are 0.97,5.17,2.27 and 1.38,*** two models have high prediction accuracy and outstanding generalization *** order to enhance the interpretability of model decision-making,we used importance ranking to obtain the perception of machine learning model to 13 *** 13 variables include chemical composition of fly ash(SiO_(2)/Al_(2)O_(3),Si/Al),the ratio of alkaline liquid to the binder,curing temperature,curing durations inside oven,fly ash dosage,fine aggregate dosage,coarse aggregate dosage,extra water dosage and sodium hydroxide *** temperature,specimen ages and curing durations inside oven have the greatest influence on the prediction results,indicating that curing conditions have more prominent influence on the compressive strength of PFGC than ordinary Portland cement *** importance of curing conditions of PFGC even exceeds that of the concrete mix proportion,due to the low reactivity of pure fly ash.

Tables, as an important means of data storage, are widely used in spreadsheets, web tables, and PDFs. By integrating information from table data with knowledge re-trieved from an external knowledge base, and examining the correspondences between cell values in the table and instances in the knowledge base, we can extract knowledge from the table to augment and enrich the knowledge base. To achieve this goal, we first need to classify table cells based on their functions in the layout. Due to the diverse structures arising from the arrangements of rows and columns, as well as the complexity of content resulting from concise data storage, current automation techniques heavily rely on stylistic features of table cells, such as font or color. Moreover, these methods are rarely experimented with or validated on tables without style features. Recent literature indicates that large language models (LLMs) demonstrate an ability to understand the structure and content of tables in tasks such as table judgment reasoning. Even without extensive feature inputs or pre-training, LLMs still show comparable results to machine learning and deep learning in these tasks. Therefore, this paper attempts to apply LLMs to table cell classification without using other stylistic features. We have designed a 4-component prompt paradigm (Classification Definition, Instruction, Table, Com-pletion), representing respectively the classification definition, task instructions, table data, and result output. We conduct experiments on three datasets CIUS, SAUS, and DEEX for table cell classification with one-shot learning. Our experimental results show that with the assistance of LLMs, better results can be achieved without utilizing stylistic features.

In order to reveal the impact of the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic on risk contagion in the international stock market, this paper establishes an ARMA-GARCH-Copula model based on the R-Vine structure to empirically analyze the stock index data of 19 important countries(regions) around the world, and uses complex network to display the risk contagion path. This research shows that the risk contagion correlation of the global stock market has significantly improved due to the impact of COVID-19;The correlation of risk transmission among European countries is significantly higher than that of other regions, reflecting a closer integration connection between EU countries;Finally, unlike previous literature, this article finds that stock market of Hong Kong in China has become an important node in the international stock market, playing an important role in the risk network before and after the epidemic. © 2023 The Authors. PathReasoner: Modeling Reasoning Path with Equivalent Extension for Logical Question Answering

Logical reasoning task has attracted great interest since it was proposed. Faced with such a task, current competitive models, even large language models (e.g., ChatGPT and PaLM 2), still perform badly. Previous promising LMs struggle in logical consistency modeling and logical structure perception. To this end, we model the logical reasoning task by transforming each logical sample into reasoning paths and propose an architecture PathReasoner. It addresses the task from the views of both data and model. To expand the diversity of the logical samples, we propose an atom extension strategy supported by equivalent logical formulas, to form new reasoning paths. From the model perspective, we design a stack of transformer-style blocks. In particular, we propose a path-attention module to joint model in-atom and cross-atom relations with the high-order diffusion strategy. Experiments show that PathReasoner achieves competitive performances on two logical reasoning benchmarks and great generalization abilities. © 2024, CC BY.

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is one of the most common and severe mental illnesses, posing a huge burden on society and families. Recently, some multimodal methods have been proposed to learn a multimodal embedding for MDD detection and achieved promising performance. However, these methods ignore the heterogeneity/homogeneity among various modalities. Besides, earlier attempts ignore interclass separability and intraclass compactness. Inspired by the above observations, we propose a graph neural network (GNN)-based multimodal fusion strategy named modal-shared modal-specific GNN, which investigates the heterogeneity/homogeneity among various psychophysiological modalities as well as explores the potential relationship between subjects. Specifically, we develop a modal-shared and modal-specific GNN architecture to extract the inter/intramodal characteristics. Furthermore, a reconstruction network is employed to ensure fidelity within the individual modality. Moreover, we impose an attention mechanism on various embeddings to obtain a multimodal compact representation for the subsequent MDD detection task. We conduct extensive experiments on two public depression datasets and the favorable results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

To address the problem of the low accuracy of transverse velocity field measurements for small targets in highresolution solar images,we proposed a novel velocity field measurement method for high-resolution solar images based on *** method transforms the transverse velocity field measurements into an optical flow field prediction *** evaluated the performance of the proposed method using the Hαand TiO data sets obtained from New Vacuum Solar Telescope *** experimental results show that our method effectively predicts the optical flow of small targets in images compared with several typical machine-and deeplearning *** the Hαdata set,the proposed method improves the image structure similarity from 0.9182 to0.9587 and reduces the mean of residuals from 24.9931 to 15.2818;on the TiO data set,the proposed method improves the image structure similarity from 0.9289 to 0.9628 and reduces the mean of residuals from 25.9908 *** optical flow predicted using the proposed method can provide accurate data for the atmospheric motion information of solar *** code implementing the proposed method is available on https://***/lygmsy123/transverse-velocity-field-measurement.
