An FeOx‐based Pt single‐atom catalyst(SAC),Pt1/FeOx,has stimulated significant recent interest owing to its extraordinary activity toward CO *** concept of SAC has also been successfully extended to other FeOx supported transition metal systems both experimentally and ***,the FeOx substrate itself(denoted by Fe1/FeOx following the same nomenclature of Pt1/FeOx)as a typical transition metal oxide possesses a very low catalytic activity toward CO oxidation,although it can be viewed as Fe1/FeOx ***,to understand the catalytic mechanism of FeOx‐based SACs for CO oxidation,we have performed density functional theory calculations on Pt1/FeOx and Fe1/FeOx for CO oxidation to address the differences between these two SACs in terms of the catalytic mechanism of CO oxidation and the chemical behavior of the *** calculation results indicated that the catalytic cycle of Fe1/FeOx is much more difficult to accomplish than that of SAC Pt1/FeOx because of a high activation barrier(1.09eV)for regeneration of the oxygen vacancy formed when the second CO2molecule desorbs from the ***,density of states and Bader charge analysis revealed differences in the catalytic performance for CO oxidation by the SACs Fe1/FeOx and Pt1/*** work provides insights into the fundamental interactions between the single‐atom Pt1and FeOx substrate,and the exceptional catalytic performance of this system for CO oxidation.

The change of water content of expansive soil in canal slope is very unfavorable to the stability of the slope. In order to analyze the influencing factors and laws of water cut, the relationship between water content and voltage of expansive soil, the relationship between initial water content and expansion force, initial water content and disintegration of expansive soil were tested relationship. The gray correlation model was analyzed based on the vertical displacement, water content, suction, rainfall, soil temperature and temperature data collected on the site. It is preliminarily believed that the main influencing factors of the change of water content of expansive soil in the test section are temperature, rainfall, evaporation and suction. The mechanism analysis of the grey relational model is also obtained: due to the lag of the rainfall infiltration process, the atmospheric rainfall can only penetrate into the 1.6m deep strong expansive soil after 3d, and the influence depth is less than 6.1m. The research on the influencing factors of the change of water content of expansive soil provides the basis for the development of prevention and control measures for canal slope soil in the middle route of South-to-North Moisture Diversion Project and the safe management of channel operation.

Synchronization of directed complex networks has been extensively studied in the previous two decades due to its potential applications in the real world practices. To reveal and analyze the inherent mechanism of global synchronization in the complex networks with directed topologies, this paper attempts to developing a novel synchronization approach by using algebraic connectivity and PI control protocols. Hypokinetic dysarthria is one of the core symptoms of Parkinson's disease, characterized by reduced loudness, slurred speech and distorted consonant productions. Dopaminergic medication for Parkinson's disease (PD) has been proven to be effective in treating limb and gross motor movement problems. However, the literature sees contradictory findings regarding dopaminergic effects on speech problems associated with PD. Previous perceptual and acoustic studies of PD hypokinetic dysarthria mostly involved heterogeneous population and variations of speech tasks which complicated data interpretation. Also, the lack of kinematic data limited our understanding of the details of articulation errors associated with PD, as well as the medication effects. Electromagnetic articulography (EMA) enabled the examination of PD articulatory patterns with high degree of accuracy and safety. The aim of the present study was to address these inconsistencies by providing an integrative description of basic kinematic and acoustic parameters of speech production about the dopaminergic effect on early PD speech by using EMA. The results revealed a significant improvement of articulatory function on dopaminergic effects for PD speech, evidenced by increased vowel space, the velocity and accelerated velocity initiation and coordination of articulation during bilabial or alveolar productions.
