Multiview clustering has wide real-world applications because it can process data from multiple sources. However, these data often contain missing instances and noises, which are ignored by most multiview clustering methods. Missing instances may make these methods difficult to use directly, and noises will lead to unreliable clustering results. In this article, we propose a novel autoweighted noisy and incomplete multiview clustering (ANIMC) approach via a soft autoweighted strategy and a doubly soft regular regression model. First, by designing adaptive semiregularized nonnegative matrix factorization, the soft autoweighted strategy assigns a proper weight to each view and adds a soft boundary to balance the influence of noises and incompleteness. Second, by proposing θ-norm, the doubly soft regularized regression model adjusts the sparsity of our model by choosing different θ. Compared with previous methods, ANIMC has three unique advantages: 1) it is a soft algorithm to adjust our approach in different scenarios, thereby improving its generalization ability;2) it automatically learns a proper weight for each view, thereby reducing the influence of noises;3) it performs doubly soft regularized regression that aligns the same instances in different views, thereby decreasing the impact of missing instances. Extensive experimental results show its superior advantages over other state-of-the-art works. © 2020 IEEE.

With the rapid development of computer technology and Internet technology, the information age has come. The combination of computer technology and sports is one of the most popular research fields. This paper mainly completes the construction of football player number dataset and identification of football players through the jersey number. Firstly, the dataset is constructed based on player detection and number region detection. Then in the player identification task, we uses part of the backbone network of YOLOv5 model as the feature extraction module of the player identification network. Moreover, SPD-Conv module is added to improve the network recognition performance under the condition of small size target and low resolution. A series of experiments were also done to verify the performance of our proposed model. Finally, the recognition accuracy of our proposed model reached 92.75%. © 2023 SPIE.

Adware represents a pervasive threat in the mobile ecosystem, yet its inherent characteristics have been largely overlooked by previous research. This work takes a crucial step towards demystifying Android adware. We present a comprehensive, well-annotated Android adware dataset AdwareZoo, which comprises 15,996 adware samples across 118 distinct adware families collected from both security reports and app repositories, providing a robust foundation for in-depth analysis and future research. We identify adware family payloads by isolating packages from adware samples for VirusTotal rescanning. Our analysis unveils critical insights into the adware ecosystem, highlighting distinctive patterns in family naming conventions and exposing the unexpected classification of widely-used ad networks as adware. We identify diverse payload location strategies, with a notable finding that over 30% of adware families employ payloads beyond conventional Java/Kotlin code. Furthermore, we reveal several evasion techniques utilized by ad-ware, including package name obfuscation and dynamic payload loading. This research not only offers a robust foundation for understanding and combating adware but also highlights the pressing need for increased scrutiny of mobile advertising practices. © 2024 ACM.

In this work, we address the challenging task of Generalized Referring Expression Comprehension (GREC). Compared to the classic Referring Expression Comprehension (REC) that focuses on single-target expressions, GREC extends the scope to a more practical setting by further encompassing no-target and multi-target expressions. Existing REC methods face challenges in handling the complex cases encountered in GREC, primarily due to their fixed output and limitations in multi-modal representations. To address these issues, we propose a Hierarchical Alignment-enhanced Adaptive Grounding Network (HieA2G) for GREC, which can flexibly deal with various types of referring expressions. First, a Hierarchical Multi-modal Semantic Alignment (HMSA) module is proposed to incorporate three levels of alignments, including word-object, phrase-object, and text-image alignment. It enables hierarchical cross-modal interactions across multiple levels to achieve comprehensive and robust multi-modal understanding, greatly enhancing grounding ability for complex cases. Then, to address the varying number of target objects in GREC, we introduce an Adaptive Grounding Counter (AGC) to dynamically determine the number of output targets. Additionally, an auxiliary contrastive loss is employed in AGC to enhance object-counting ability by pulling in multi-modal features with the same counting and pushing away those with different counting. Extensive experimental results show that HieA2G achieves new state-of-the-art performance on the challenging GREC task and also the other 4 tasks, including REC, Phrase Grounding, Referring Expression Segmentation (RES), and Generalized Referring Expression Segmentation (GRES), demonstrating the remarkable superiority and generalizability of the proposed HieA2G. As a cutting-edge innovative method and tool, Design Thinking has effectively promoted many changes in global business, social and education fields in recent years. This work briefly introduces Design Thinking and related teaching reform, and then summarizes two problems in existing engineering practice teaching. In view of these problems, this work introduces Design Thinking into engineering practice teaching. As its core, Design Thinking Workshops are well designated and organized. Two-semesters explorations show that under the guidance of Design Thinking, engineering practice teaching is more attractive and effective. It can not only help engineering students learn to empathize with end-users and cultivate innovative thinking, but also improve their ability to identify and address real problems. © 2022 ACM.

An elevation change dataset in Greenland ice sheet from 2003 to 2020 using satellite altimetry data

ABSTRACT A decade-long pronounced increase in temperatures in the Arctic resulted in a global warming hotspot over the Greenland ice sheet(GrIS).Associated changes in the cryosphere were the consequence and led to a demand for monitoring glacier changes,which are one of the major parameters to analyze the responses of the GrIS to climate ***-term altimetry data(***,CryoSat-2,and ICESat-2)can provide elevation changes over different periods,and many methods have been developed for altimetry alone to obtain elevation *** this work,we provided the long-term elevation change rate data of the GrIS in three different periods using ICESat data(from February 2003 to October 2009),Cryosat-2 data(from August 2010 to October 2018)and ICESat-2 data(from October 2018 to December 2020).Optimal methods were applied to the datasets collected by three different altimeters:crossover analysis for ICESat/ICESat-2 and the surface fit method for *** data revealed that the elevation change rates of the GrIS were-12.19±3.81 cm/yr,-19.70±3.61 cm/yr and-23.39±3.06 cm/yr in the three different periods,corresponding to volume change rates of-210.20±25.34 km^(3)/yr,-339.11±24.01 km^(3)/yr and-363.33±20.37 km^(3)/yr,*** general,the obtained results agree with the trends discovered by other studies that were also derived from satellite altimetry *** dataset provides the basic data for research into the impact of climate change over the *** dataset is available at https://***/10.57760/sciencedb.j00076.00121.

Utilizing the spatiotemporal features contained in extensive trajectory data for identifying operation modes of agricultural machinery is an important basis task for subsequent agricultural machinery trajectory *** the present study,to effectively identify agricultural machinery operation mode,a feature deformation network with multi-range feature enhancement was ***,a multi-range feature enhancement module was developed to fully explore the feature distribution of agricultural machinery trajectory ***,to further enrich the representation of trajectories,a feature deformation module was proposed that can map trajectory points to high-dimensional space to form feature ***,EfficientNet-B0 was used to extract features of different scales and depths from the feature map,select features highly relevant to the results,and finally accurately predict the mode of each trajectory *** validate the effectiveness of the proposed method,experiments were conducted to compare the results with those of other methods on a dataset of real agricultural *** the corn and wheat harvester trajectory datasets,the model achieved accuracies of 96.88%and 96.68%,as well as F1 scores of 93.54%and 94.19%,exhibiting improvements of 8.35%and 9.08%in accuracy and 20.99%and 20.04%in F1 score compared with the current state-of-the-art method.

Thermoelectric modules fabricated by traditional welding fall short of achieving optimal conversion efficiencies, primarily due to performance degradation of materials at high temperatures, severe elemental diffusion, and residual thermal stress at the interface. Transient liquid phase bonding enables the realization of joints with high-melting-point compounds at low bonding temperatures, providing a promising solution for achieving "low-temperature bonding and high-temperature service." Owing to the low eutectic point of the solder and high melting points of compounds, we optimize the design of a germanium-telluride-based module at 533 K, which is successfully applied at the hot-side temperature of 773 K. Attributed to high-performance materials and reliable joints, the module realizes a high conversion efficiency of ∼15.1% and remains stable throughout 150 h of service. By adopting the same approach, the low- (Bi2Te3) and high-temperature (half-Heusler) modules are assembled. We provide a promising and general route for the assembly of full-temperature-range thermoelectric devices.
