Support Vector machine (SVM) is a classification technique of machine learning based on statistical learning theory. A quadratic optimization problem needs to be solved in the algorithm, and with the increase of the samples, the time complexity will also increase. So it is necessary to shrink training sets to reduce the time complexity. A sample selection method for SVM is proposed in this paper. It is inspired from the Hyper surface classification (HSC), which is a universal classification method based on Jordan Curve Theorem, and there is no need for mapping from lower-dimensional space to higher-dimensional space. The experiments show that the algorithm shrinks training sets keeping the accuracy for unseen vectors high.

In this paper, a novel platform-specific executable business model called xBM is proposed to sufficiently represent the business logic process. The metamodel of xBM have been analysed, formalised and illustrated. Traditional version control idea based on the copy-modify-merge approach is also applied in xBM. Moreover, our approach for model development approach based on xBM is presented for generic web applications. Finally a case study of simplified Provincial Excellent Academic Degree Thesis Review System is demonstrated how to build xBMs and transform them into the final system.

In this paper, the fuzzy nature of matchmaking is considered, and the conceptions of linguistic variables in fuzzy logics are introduced into service matchmaker. The matchmaking linguistic variables and the fuzzy relationship matrix are defined, and conjunction degree of fuzzy key words sets is proposed to solve the semantic match problem between service description and service request. We propose a novel methodology based on the projector-camera (ProCam) system to address the photometric compensation issue for the projection display on the patterned screen. The patterned screen is treated as the combination of a perfect white screen and a color modulator. The perfect white screen is used to automatically and accurately characterize the ProCam system off line using the polynomial model, and the parameters of the color modulator can be efficiently recovered by employing only two gray images based on the linear reflectance model. The experimental results show that the color artifacts of the display image can be greatly improved with this methodology, which demonstrates its feasibility and validity in the photometric compensation.
