A Morris-Lecar model with novel fast-slow structure and its FPGA implementation

The Morris-Lecar model is a neuronal model designed to replicate the oscillatory activity of barnacle giant muscle fibers. This work presents a three-dimensional Morris-Lecar model with a novel fast-slow structure. The model introduces a current containing slow variables, thereby forming a new fast-slow structure with the membrane potential. Numerical results reveal the existence of two independent unstable foci and complex dynamical behaviors that include period-doubling bifurcations and spiking/bursting activities. Two types of bifurcation mechanisms for bursting activities are elucidated through theoretical analysis based on four typical bursting activities. Finally, a digital neuronal circuit was developed based on FPGA, and experimental results show good consistency with numerical results.

Characteristic analysis of 5D symmetric Hamiltonian conservative hyperchaotic system with hidden multiple stability

Conservative chaotic systems have unique advantages over dissipative chaotic systems in the fields of secure communication and pseudo-random number generator because they do not have attractors but possess good traversal and pseudorandomness. In this work, a novel five-dimensional(5D) Hamiltonian conservative hyperchaotic system is proposed based on the 5D Euler equation. The proposed system can have different types of coordinate transformations and time reversal symmetries. In this work, Hamilton energy and Casimir energy are analyzed firstly, and it is proved that the new system satisfies Hamilton energy conservation and can generate chaos. Then, the complex dynamic characteristics of the system are demonstrated and the conservatism and chaos characteristics of the system are verified through the correlation analysis methods such as phase diagram, equilibrium point, Lyapunov exponent, bifurcation diagram, and SE complexity. In addition, a detailed analysis of the multistable characteristics of the system reveals that many energy-related coexisting orbits exist. Based on the infinite number of center-type and saddle-type equilibrium points, the dynamic characteristics of the hidden multistability of the system are revealed. Then, the National Institute of Standards and technology(NIST)test of the new system shows that the chaotic sequence generated by the system has strong pseudo-random. Finally, the circuit simulation and hardware circuit experiment of the system are carried out with Multisim simulation software and digital signal processor(DSP) respectively. The experimental results confirm that the new system has good ergodicity and realizability.

DDQN-Based Hybrid Routing Protocol for UWSNs with Void Repair Mechanism

To address the challenges of low delivery rate in proactive routing protocols and high forwarding delay in opportunistic routing protocols caused by network sparsity, node mobility, and localization difficulties in dynamic underwater sensor networks (UWSNs), this study proposes a hybrid routing protocol based on Double Deep Q-Network (DDQN), termed HR-DDQN. This protocol prioritizes proactive forwarding to reduce holding delay and energy consumption, and employs opportunistic forwarding for path repair in case of failure. To improve the success rate of proactive forwarding, the proposed protocol uses DDQN to train the next-hop routing strategy, considering factors such as neighbor distance, speed, depth, and energy to avoid selecting unreliable forwarding targets. The protocol leverages the advantages of nodes' active movement and the favorable hydroacoustic propagation properties of the sound channel axis to design a void repair mechanism. When even opportunistic forwarding is insufficient to repair the forwarding link, nodes actively adjust their depth for connectivity repair, thereby improving the route delivery rate in sparse networks. Simulations on NS3 demonstrate that the proposed protocol significantly optimizes packet delivery rates in sparse networks and has lower forwarding delay compared to opportunistic routing protocols. © 2001-2012 IEEE.

Pulse repetition interval(PRI)modulation recognition and pulse sequence search are significant for effective electronic support *** modern electromagnetic environments,different types of inter-pulse slide radars are highly *** are few available training samples in practical situations,which leads to a low recognition accuracy and poor search effect of the pulse *** this paper,an approach based on bi-directional long short-term memory(BiLSTM)networks and the temporal correlation algorithm for PRI modulation recognition and sequence search under the small sample prerequisite is *** simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can recognize unilinear,bilinear,sawtooth,and sinusoidal PRI modulation types with 91.43% accuracy and complete the pulse sequence search with 30% missing pulses and 50% spurious pulses under the small sample prerequisite.

In this paper,in order to reduce the energy leakage caused by the discretized representation in sparse channel estimation for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)systems,we systematically have analyzed the optimal locations of atoms with discrete delays for each path reconstruction from the perspective of linear fitting ***,we have investigated the adverse effects of the non-ideal inner product function on the iteration in one of the most widely used channel estimation method,Orthogonal Matching Pursuit(OMP).The study shows that the distance between the selected atoms for each path in OMP can be larger than the sampling interval,which prevents OMP-based methods from achieving better *** overcome this drawback,the image deblurring-based channel estimation method,in which the channel estimation problem is analogized to one-dimensional image deblurring,was proposed to improve the large compensation distance of traditional *** advantage of the proposed method was validated by the results of numerical simulation and sea trial data decoding.

For the task of content retrieval,analysis and generation of film and television scene images in the field of intelligent editing,fine-grained emotion recognition and prediction of images is of great *** this paper,the fusion of traditional perceptual features,art features and multi-channel deep learning features are used to reflect the emotion expression of different levels of the *** addition,the integrated learning model with stacking architecture based on linear regression coefficient and sentiment correlations,which is called the LS-stacking model,is proposed according to the factor association between multi-dimensional *** experimental results prove that the mixed feature and LS-stacking model can predict well on the 16 emotion categories of the self-built image *** study improves the fine-grained recognition ability of image emotion by computers,which helps to increase the intelligence and automation degree of visual retrieval and post-production system.

This paper proposes a novel open set recognition method,the Spatial Distribution Feature Extraction Network(SDFEN),to address the problem of electromagnetic signal recognition in an open *** spatial distribution feature extraction layer in SDFEN replaces convolutional output neural networks with the spatial distribution features that focus more on inter-sample information by incorporating class center *** designed hybrid loss function considers both intra-class distance and inter-class distance,thereby enhancing the similarity among samples of the same class and increasing the dissimilarity between samples of different classes during ***,this method allows unknown classes to occupy a larger space in the feature *** reduces the possibility of overlap with known class samples and makes the boundaries between known and unknown samples more ***,the feature comparator threshold can be used to reject unknown *** signal open set recognition,seven methods,including the proposed method,are applied to two kinds of electromagnetic signal data:modulation signal and real-world *** experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms the other six methods overall in a simulated open ***,compared to the state-of-the-art Openmax method,the novel method achieves up to 8.87%and 5.25%higher micro-F-measures,respectively.

An Equivalent Fuel Consumption Minimizing Strategy for Fuel Cell Ships Considering Power Degradation

To safeguard the ocean ecosystem,fuel cells are excellent candidates as the primary energy supply for marine vessels due to their high efficiency,low noise,and ***,fuel cells in hybrid power systems are highly susceptible to load transients,which can severely damage fuel cells and shorten their ***,the formulation of energy management strategies accounting for power degradation is crucial and *** this study,an improved strategy for equivalent consumption minimization strategy(ECMS)considering power degradation is *** improved energy control strategy effectively controls the energy distribution of hydrogen fuel cells,lithium batteries,and supercapacitors in hybrid power *** proposed control strategy combines the ECMS with an adaptive *** main objective of the ECMS is to allocate power to the fuel cell systems and energy storage systems(ESS)to stabilize the power output of fuel cells,prolong their service life,and reduce the hydrogen consumption in fuel *** adaptive filteringmethod,by low-pass filtering of the energy in the energy storage system,is used to allocate power between lithium batteries and supercapacitors to minimize the effect of transient and peak energy output on the lifespan of lithium *** verify the superiority of the control strategy,a mathematical model for the hybrid power system is *** comparison to traditional ECMS and traditional ECMS considering degradation,the improved ECMS considering power degradation shows better performance in the overall economy,the durability of fuel cells and batteries,and system dynamic performance.

In the future development direction of the sixth generation(6G)mobile communication,several communication models are proposed to face the growing challenges of the *** rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)foundation models provides significant support for efficient and intelligent communication *** this paper,we propose an innovative semantic communication paradigm called task-oriented semantic communication system with foundation ***,we segment the image by using task prompts based on the segment anything model(SAM)and contrastive language-image pretraining(CLIP).Meanwhile,we adopt Bezier curve to enhance the mask to improve the segmentation ***,we have differentiated semantic compression and transmission approaches for segmented ***,we fuse different semantic information based on the conditional diffusion model to generate high-quality images that satisfy the users'specific task ***,the experimental results show that the proposed system compresses the semantic information effectively and improves the robustness of semantic communication.

Joint Task Offloading and Resource Allocation Strategy for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Vehicular Networks

Space-Air-Ground integrated Vehicular Network(SAGVN)aims to achieve ubiquitous connectivity and provide abundant computational resources to enhance the performance and efficiency of the vehicular ***,there are still challenges to overcome,including the scheduling of multilayered computational resources and the scarcity of spectrum *** address these problems,we propose a joint Task Offloading(TO)and Resource Allocation(RA)strategy in SAGVN(namely JTRSS).This strategy establishes an SAGVN model that incorporates air and space networks to expand the options for vehicular TO,and enhances the edge-computing resources of the system by deploying edge *** minimize the system average cost,we use the JTRSS algorithm to decompose the original problem into a number of subproblems.A maximum rate matching algorithm is used to address the channel allocation and the Lagrangian multiplier method is employed for computational *** acquire the optimal TO decision,a differential fusion cuckoo search algorithm is *** simulation results demonstrate the significant superiority of the JTRSS algorithm in optimizing the system average cost.
