Audience sentiment analysis is a popular research task in Music Information Retrieval (MIR). In this work, we aim to lean the prediction model of fine-grained music emotion for intelligent editing and retrieval. To satisfy the properties of time-series of music, the RNN-based model of BILSTM was selected as the bone. In particular, the traditional features and deep features extracted from the CNN architecture of spectrogram was fused with attention mechanism to enhance the recognition ability for different emotions. The ablation experiment has proved the necessary of the multi-dimensional features. Finally, the contrasting experiments on recent algorithms demonstrate that our proposed method for emotion prediction is effective, which is also suitable for small data sets. © 2023 IEEE.

The extensive integration of wind power into the grid will exert a profound influence on the stability of the power system. To address the limitations of the current critical branch identification model, which fails to consider both the power grid structure and operation state, neglects voltage, and employs a single index weight assignment mode, this paper proposes a method for identifying critical branches through a comprehensive brittleness. From a brittleness perspective, this study establishes indices for brittle electric betweeness, brittle power flow distribution entropy, brittle power flow transfer entropy, and brittle voltage deviation taking into account relevant electrical impact factors. The game combination weighting method is proposed, determining the optimal combination weight of intuitionistic fuzzy analytic network process and entropy weight method integrating the four indices to obtain the comprehensive brittleness index. Finally, the proposed integrated brittleness identification method is verified using the IEEE39 bus system, demonstrating its effectiveness and feasibility in identifying key branches comprehensively and reasonably. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Glass tubes for vaccines have strict production requirements, and large-scale production is difficult to ensure their high quality. Minor damage or defects may seriously affect the quality of vaccines. In the actual task of vaccine glass tubes defect detection, there are many kinds of defects, and the defect forms of the same kind are also very different. Traditional manual detection is time-consuming, laborious and expensive. The traditional digital image processing algorithm is also poor in the field of defect detection. This paper proposes a DD-STDC net (STDC net for defect detection) based on semantic segmentation. Multi-scale input branches are introduced on the basis of the original STDC net, so that the model can learn the regional relationship between different scales through attention. For all kinds of irregular defects, deformable convolution is used in the backbone to capture the edge details of irregular objects more easily. The attention mechanism is embedded in the backbone network to strengthen the attention to the effective spatial location and the effective semantic information channel. On the test set, we achieve 66.3% MIOU on NVIDIA RTX 2060Super, which is 1.55% higher than the STDC net. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to solve the problem of small object size and low detection accuracy under the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)platform,the object detection algorithm based on deep aggregation network and high-resolution fusion module is ***,a joint network of object detection and feature extraction is studied to construct a real-time multi-object tracking *** the problem of object association failure caused by UAV movement,image registration is applied to multi-object tracking and a camera motion discrimination model is proposed to improve the speed of the multi-object tracking *** simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this study can improve the accuracy of multi-object tracking under the UAV platform,and effectively solve the problem of association failure caused by UAV movement.

The number of chronic kidney disease in china has shown a rapid upward trend. The morphological analysis of urinary erythrocyte is the key to diagnose various types of chronic kidney disease. Therefore, this paper studies the classification method of urinary erythrocyte based on supervised contrastive learning. Aiming at the low spatial resolution of urine erythrocyte and the difficulty in feature extraction, this paper proposes a small resolution residual network (SRRN) structure model based on ResNet-50 model. A multi-contrastive loss function is proposed for the singularity of feature similarity measurement in supervised contrastive learning. Based on supervised contrastive loss function, a feature similarity measurement method based on euclidean distance is added. Aiming at the low accuracy and recall rate of some categories in urine red blood cell classification, this paper introduces a weight balance mechanism in cross entropy loss and sets higher loss weights for more difficult categories. The accuracy of this method and ResNet-50 network model on the urinary erythrocyte dataset is 92.26% and 90.7% respectively, which shows the effectiveness of this method on urinary red blood cell recognition. © 2023 SPIE.

This paper addresses the state estimation problem of port crane systems and proposes a modified set-membership filtering method to obtain real-time state estimation of the crane. Firstly, considering the nonlinear characteristic of the crane system, a discrete Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) crane model is established based on the dynamic characteristic of the crane system. At the same time, the possible noises in the crane system are modeled as unknown but bounded (UBB) noises to describe the uncertainty of the external environment and internal factors of the crane system. Furthermore, according to the constructed LPV-based crane model with UBB noises, a set-membership filter is designed to obtain the real-time state estimation ellipsoid for the crane system, and the optimal state estimation domain is obtained through recursive convex optimization method. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed set-membership filtering method in state estimation of port crane system are verified through simulation experiments. © 2024 Asian control Association.

Ultra-wideband matrix DFB laser array based on enhanced self-heating effect

In this paper, an ultra-wideband distributed feedback (DFB) laser array with matrix grating based on the enhanced self-heating effect is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. 12 lasers are monolithically integrated with a 4 × 3 matrix style with a wavelength spacing of 5 nm. The reconstruction-equivalent-chirp technique is used to simplify the grating fabrication and enhance the precise control of the wavelength spacing. A cascaded Y-branch sharing identical active layers with the lasers is used to realize one waveguide output, which only requires a small current to compensate for the material absorption. This can reduce fabrication complexity compared to using the butt-coupling technique. A semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is integrated in front of the laser array to amplify and adjust the optical power. By optimizing the doping concentration of the p-waveguide region, the self-heating effect of the DFB laser has been enhanced, thereby increasing the wavelength current tuning range of a laser unit. As a result, the wavelength of the laser array is precisely controlled, with the wavelength deviation of all 12 lasers maintained within ±0.2 nm. The wavelength current tuning range of a DFB laser unit reaches 5.8 nm. Consequently, without adjusting the thermoelectric cooler (TEC), the laser array can achieve a continuous wavelength current tuning range of up to 60 nm. After SOA amplification, the output power of the laser array is above 55 mW, and the relative intensity noise (RIN) is lower than -130 dB/Hz. Additionally, its side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) is greater than 45 dB, indicating excellent single-longitudinal-mode properties. The proposed tunable laser is considered highly advantageous for dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) systems and optical sensing systems. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

Hardware impairments(HI)are always present in low-cost wireless *** paper investigates the outage behaviors of intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)assisted non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)networks by taking into account the impact of ***,we derive the approximate and asymptotic expressions of the outage probability for the IRS-NOMA-HI *** on the asymptotic results,the diversity orders under perfect self-interference cancellation and imperfect self-interference cancellation scenarios are obtained to evaluate the performance of the considered *** addition,the system throughput of IRS-NOMA-HI is discussed in delay-limited *** obtained results are provided to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analyses and reveal that:1)The outage performance and system throughput for IRS-NOMA-HI outperforms that of the IRS-assisted orthogonal multiple access-HI(IRS-OMA-HI)networks;2)The number of IRS elements,the pass loss factors,the Rician factors,and the value of HI are pivotal to enhancing the performance of IRS-NOMAHI networks;and 3)It is recommended that effective methods of reducing HI should be used to ensure system performance,in addition to self-interference cancellation techniques.

Music recommendation algorithms aim to predict the songs that users might be interested in based on various factors, such as their listening history. The best existing method is Bert_Music, a sequential music recommendation model based on Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformer (BERT). This model leverages user sequence context information to improve recommendation performance. However, Bert_Music only considers the sequence information of songs and ignores their content characteristics. To address this limitation, we propose an improved version of Bert_Music, which is a sequential music recommendation model based on Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformer with tag information (BERT_MUSIC_T), uses song ID (Identity) and tag information to make more accurate recommendations. We compared the performance of Bert_Music_T with that of the Bert_Music model on the *** dataset and found that the Precision has increased by up to 2.85%. These results prove the validity of our method. © 2023 IEEE.
