A basic problem of quantum computing is how to effectively express classical data in quantum systems. This problem is called state preparation problem, and the process of preparing quantum states is called coding. In this paper, the classical data of matrix is transformed into quantum states in the form of amplitude coding and simulated. This paper first introduces the detailed process of matrix transformation into the linear combination of quantum ground state, then designs a quantum circuit model to realize amplitude coding according to the idea of binary tree model and quantum random walk algorithm, and finally simulates the three matrices on IBM quantum cloud platform, and analyzes and introduces many situations. The experimental results verify the feasibility of converting the matrix into quantum states by amplitude coding, analyze the causes of errors in the experimental process, and put forward the corresponding solutions. This paper introduces in detail the whole process of matrix conversion to quantum states and the construction of quantum circuits for simulation. Compared with the existing experiments, the quantum circuits constructed in this paper are shorter in length, less in number of quantum gates, and more versatile.

This paper proposes a method for adapting the layout of flexible workpieces of various shapes, in order to reduce the difficulty of location design for personalized shapes. Different from the previous location design that relied on the experiences of engineers, this method establishes an optimization model that determines the number of datum points and the optimal solution based on the centroid characteristics of the workpieces. The optimization index of this model is to control the minimum deformation of the overall flexible workpieces and the minimum variance of the deformation at the maximum deformation point. Taking the characteristics of the workpieces as a priori constraints for location determination, this model obtains the optimal solution combined with finite element analysis. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified through a numerical example. © 2024 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Recent vision foundation models can extract universal representations and show impressive abilities in various tasks. However, their application on object detection is largely overlooked, especially without fine-tuning them. In this work, we show that frozen foundation models can be a versatile feature enhancer, even though they are not pre-trained for object detection. Specifically, we explore directly transferring the high-level image understanding of foundation models to detectors in the following two ways. First, the class token in foundation models provides an in-depth understanding of the complex scene, which facilitates decoding object queries in the detector's decoder by providing a compact context. Additionally, the patch tokens in foundation models can enrich the features in the detector's encoder by providing semantic details. Utilizing frozen foundation models as plug-and-play modules rather than the commonly used backbone can significantly enhance the detector's performance while preventing the problems caused by the architecture discrepancy between the detector's backbone and the foundation model. With such a novel paradigm, we boost the SOTA query-based detector DINO from 49.0% AP to 51.9% AP (+2.9% AP) and further to 53.8% AP (+4.8% AP) by integrating one or two foundation models respectively, on the COCO validation set after training for 12 epochs with R50 as the detector's backbone. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. The study on binary code evolution is very crucial for understanding vulnerability repair and malicious code variants. Researchers on code evolution focus on the source code level, whereas very few works have been done to tackle this problem at the binary code level. In this paper, a binary code evolution analysis framework is proposed to automatically locate evolution area and identify evolution semantic with concrete semantic difference. Difference of binary function domain was applied based on function similarity. Trace alignment was used to find evolution blocks, instruction classification semantic was utilized to identify evolution operation, and evolution semantic was extracted combined with function domain elements. The experimental results show that binary code evolution analysis framework can correctly locate binary code evolution area and identify all concrete semantic evolution. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

At present, the scale of quantum computers in the real sense is still small, and quantum simulation has become one of the important ways of quantum theory research, grover quantum search algorithm is suitable for the search problem of disordered database. Firstly, according to the implementation principle of Grover algorithm and Boolean logic relationship, the design idea of multi-objective Oracle is analyzed, based on IBMQ quantum cloud platform, the quantum circuit of Grover algorithm with multi-objective items is simulated. Based on the characteristics of Grover algorithm and the simulation process of quantum gate, the action of multiple identical quantum gates is combined to reduce the update times of probability amplitude and improve the simulation efficiency. The libquantum quantum simulator is used for experiments and the target item is successfully searched, which proves the feasibility of the optimization method and provides reference for the simulation and optimization of other quantum algorithms.

Current intelligent diagnosis systems are often trained to diagnose a small number of diseases and lack the ability of continually learning new disease knowledge. To have such continual learning ability, the deployed intelligent system needs to be continually updated based on training data of only new diseases, without accessing old data of previously learned diseases due to privacy concerns and challenges in data sharing across medical centers. In this study, a novel and effective prompt learning strategy is proposed to help a pretrained and fixed Vision Transformer (ViT) continually learn new diseases. In particular, a set of unique prompts for each disease are effectively learned such that discriminative disease features can be well extracted from the fixed ViT under the instructions of prompts during feature extraction, even though the ViT feature extractor is pretrained in the natural image domain. Extensive empirical evaluations on two medical image datasets and one natural image dataset demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method. Ultra-low power MoS2 optoelectronic synapse with wavelength sensitivity for color target recognition

Optoelectronic synapses that integrate visual perception and pre-processing hold significant potential for neuromorphic vision systems（NVSs）. However, due to a lack of wavelength sensitivity, existing NVS mainly focuses on gray-scale image processing, making it challenging to recognize color images. Additionally, the high power consumption of optoelectronic synapses, compared to the 10 fJ energy consumption of biological synapses, limits their broader application. To address these challenges, an energy-efficient NVS capable of color target recognition in a noisy environment was developed,utilizing a MoS2optoelectronic synapse with wavelength sensitivity. Benefiting from the distinct photon capture capabilities of 450, 535, and 650 nm light, the optoelectronic synapse exhibits wavelength-dependent synaptic plasticity, including excitatory postsynaptic current（EPSC）, paired-pulse facilitation（PPF）, and long-term plasticity（LTP）. These properties can effectively mimic the visual memory and color discrimination functions of the human vision system. Results demonstrate that the NVS, based on MoS2optoelectronic synapses, can eliminate the color noise at the sensor level, increasing color image recognition accuracy from 50% to 90%. Importantly, the optoelectronic synapse operates at a low voltage spike of0.0005 V, consuming only 0.075 fJ per spike, surpassing the energy efficiency of both existing optoelectronic and biological synapses. This ultra-low power, color-sensitive device eliminates the need for color filters and offers great promise for future deployment in filter-free NVS.

In recent years, driven by huge engineering demands, industrial Cyber-Physical System (iCPS) has developed rapidly. As an important energy conversion device in iCPS, stable operation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is very important to ensure the availability of the whole iCPS. In this paper, based on Lyapunov stability theory, the function projective synchronization (FPS) of chaotic PMSM systems with certain and uncertain system parameters are investigated, respectively. The proposed control method is proved by using explicit numerical theory and then applied in numerical simulations. From the results of simulations, effectiveness of the control method is obviously. Our study can solve the synchronization and motors coordination problem in industry manufacture. © 2021 IEEE
