This paper focuses on the H ∞ filtering problem for a class of discrete-time systems with stochastic incomplete measurement and mixed random delays. A more realistic and accurate measurement mode is proposed to compensate for the negative influence of both missing data and different time delays in a random way. In the system, all of the stochastic variables are mutually independent but satisfy the Bernoulli binary distribution. In particular, the stochastic infinite distributed delays are introduced in the discrete-time domain. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the admissible filter are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities, which ensures the asymptotic stability as well as a prescribed H ∞ performance for the filter errors. A simulation example is exploited to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design procedures.

Through the analied of current tunneling mechanism, a more efficient and applicable tunneling mechanism called TrNAT based on TSP to face different scenarios was proposed. Optimization of the communications between NAT users was achieved with ideology of MIPv6. Then, Shim6 was utilized to realize route redundancy and also improved the route aggregation of 6 to 4 tunnel. Finally, TrNAT tunneling mechanism was implemented on Linux kernel and validated by experiments.

This note generalizes the stability analysis for a high frequency networked control system. The high-frequency networked control system is described by a delta operator system with a high frequency constraint. Stability conditions are given for the high frequency delta operator system. Furthermore, by developing the generalized Kalman-Yakubovic-Popov lemma, improved stability conditions are also presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Some experiment results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed techniques.

In the article, we discuss the conservation laws for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with wave operator under multisymplectic integrator (MI). The discrete conservation laws of the numerical method are analyzed. It is verified that the proposed MI can stably simulate the multisymplectic Hamiltonian system excellent over long time. It is more accurate than some energy-preserving schemes though they are of the same accuracy. Moreover, the residual of mass is less than energy-preserving schemes under the same mesh partition over long-term.

We present a tunable triple-band μ-negative metamaterial composed of loop resonator and ferrite. The tunable triple-band-stop transmission spectrum of such metamaterial is investigated numerically by full wave simulations. Moreover, the corresponding effective parameters are retrieved to illustrate the tunable μ-negative characteristic.

This paper presents an alternative approach, based on the transmission line theory, for determination of the attenuation constant (α), phase constant (β), characteristic impedance (Zo), refractive index (n), effective permittivity (ε) and effective permeability (μ) for active transmission line (TL) metamaterial. When active elements are introduced into the lossy TL meta-material, the gain acquired from the active elements should be evaluated quantitatively against the attenuation due to the loss in order to avoid ambiguities in determining the signs of the effective constitutive parameters. In stead of directly determining the characteristic impedance from S-parameters, we introduce the reflection coefficient as an intermediate quantity to assist solving the characteristic impedance. This paper shows demonstration of this method with an example of active TL metamaterial.

The problem of receding horizon predictive control of stochastic linear parameter varying systems is discussed. First, constant coefficient matrices are obtained at each vertex in the interior of linear parameter varying system, and then, by considering semi-definite programming constraints, weight coefficients between each vertex are calculated, and the equal coefficients matrices for the time variable system are obtained. Second, in the given receding horizon, for each mode sequence of the stochastic convex polyhedron linear parameter varying systems, the optimal control input sequences are designed in order to make the states into a terminal invariant set. Outside of the receding horizon, stability of the system is guaranteed by searching a state feedback control law. Finally, receding horizon predictive controller is designed in terms of linear matrix inequality for such system. Simulation example shows the validity of this method.
