In this paper, we consider the controllability and stability control problem for planar underactuated robots with non-one passive joints. The dynamic constraints of the robot are mainly caused by nonholonomic constraints. Firstly, we establish the dynamic model of this system and analyze its controllability. Then, based on location and number of passive joints, we divide the system into different configurations. Next, we propose a stable control method based on bi-directional approach to achieve the stable control of different systems. At last, the numerical simulation conclusion illuminate the feasibility of this method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In the era of big data,there is an urgent need to establish data trading markets for effectively releasing the tremendous value of the drastically explosive *** security and data pricing,however,are still widely regarded as major challenges in this respect,which motivate this research on the novel multi-blockchain based framework for data trading markets and their associated pricing *** this context,data recording and trading are conducted separately within two separate blockchains:the data blockchain(DChain) and the value blockchain(VChain).This enables the establishment of two-layer data trading markets to manage initial data trading in the primary market and subsequent data resales in the secondary ***,pricing mechanisms are then proposed to protect these markets against strategic trading behaviors and balance the payoffs of both suppliers and ***,in regular data trading on VChain-S2D,two auction models are employed according to the demand scale,for dealing with users’ strategic *** incentive-compatible Vickrey-Clarke-Groves(VCG)model is deployed to the low-demand trading scenario,while the nearly incentive-compatible monopolistic price(MP) model is utilized for the high-demand trading *** temporary data trading on VChain-D2S,a reverse auction mechanism namely two-stage obscure selection(TSOS) is designed to regulate both suppliers’ quoting and users’ valuation ***,experiments are carried out to demonstrate the strength of this research in enhancing data security and trading efficiency.

In recent years, crowdsourcing systems that tackle complex tasks through the collective efforts of many individuals have garnered substantial attention. However, the existing crowd-sourcing systems face some challenges such as overreliance on human experience and effort, information overload, and risks of privacy breaches. To overcome these challenges, this paper proposes an intelligent and trustworthy crowdsourcing frame-work based on blockchain and retrieval-augmented generation. The framework centers around foundational models to integrate the three distinct and sequentially interdependent phases: task decomposition, task allocation or recommendation, and task execution, enabling the automatic provision of a personalized, comfortable, and efficient user experience. Blockchain and smart contracts are utilized to protect user privacy and interests without leaning on any third trusted authority. Additionally, the operational process of the framework is explained and validated by taking printed circuit board design and manufacturing as a case study and ChatGPT as its generator. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, micromanipulator with dual end-effectors called microhand has been widely used in industrial and biological fields. Whether the tip positions of the two end-effectors of the microhand can be accurately aligned seriously affects the precise grasping of the microhand. However, few researchers have presented practical ways for precisely aligning the tip positions of a 6-DOF microhand's two end- effectors. This paper proposes a novel, inexpensive, lightweight, robust, and easy-to-use microhand dual end-effectors clamping device that can precisely and quickly align the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. First, we describe the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device's lightweight structural design. After that, we simplify the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device model and create a mathematical model to determine the relationship between the end-effectors' tip position and the rotation angles of screw No.1, screw No.2, screw No.3 of the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device. Through experimentation, we are able to attain precise alignment of the two end-effectors tip positions of the 6-DOF microhand, so we confirm that our mathematical model is true. Finally, we use the impulse response of PZT in the microhand's lower module to confirm the stability of the microhand dual end- effectors clamping device. We believe that the proposed the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device has great potential in industrial and biological applications as a universal tool for precise alignment of the tip positions of the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. As the core of quality inspection,we propose Quality Transformers to complete detection task,while federated learning is integrated to regulate data *** summary, we point out the development directions of quality inspection under metaverse tide.

An ab initio core-shell model is proposed to evaluate the surface effect in bending nanowires,in which the elastic modulus depends on the surface relaxation and deformation induced by external *** using first-principles calculations based on the density functional theory(DFT),the surface and bulk properties are calculated for Ag,Pb,and Si *** obtained theoretical predictions of the effective Young’s modulus of nanowires agree well with the experimental data,which shows that the fixed-fixed nanowire is stiffened and the cantilevered nanowire is softened as the characteristic size of the cross section ***,the contrastive analysis on the two kinds of nanowires demonstrates that increasing the nanowire aspect ratio would enhance the surface *** present results could be helpful for understanding the size effect in nanowires and designing nanobeam-based devices in nanoelectromechanical systems(NEMSs).

Domain adaptation methods and appropriate feature extractors are usually applied to solve the problem that the variable working conditions of bearings affect the effectiveness of the fault diagnostic framework. However, the existing feature extractors are too complex to be deployed in real industries. In this paper, we propose a lightweight framework called improved depthwise separable convolution network (IDSCN) for the diagnosis of bearing faults in variable operating conditions. IDSCN is built on wavelet convolution and depthwise separable residual convolution (DSRC), where the wavelet convolution is used to extract frequency features from the source and target domains, and DSRC guarantees the performance of feature extraction with reduced parameters and computation. To minimise the distribution difference between the source and target domains, the local maximum mean difference is incorporated into the proposed framework. The performance of the proposed framework is validated on the Paderborn University dataset, involving a total of 6 transfer tasks. The experiment shows that the proposed framework achieves satisfactory results and outperforms other frameworks in bearing fault diagnosis. © 2025 IEEE.

Aiming at the compliance control of rigid manipulators in human-robot interaction scenarios, a new variable impedance control(VIC) model is proposed to improve the adaptive ability of the manipulator to adjust compliance in different phases of the task. The parameter selection problem is transformed into a controller design problem. Impedance constraints are set by introducing the prior knowledge of the person, information about the state and contact force, and manipulability. The one-step model predictive control(MPC) method is used to search for the optimal solution of impedance parameters, so that the manipulator can adaptively select different balance relations between tracking accuracy and compliance. Moreover, in order to avoid the damage of time-varying impedance parameters to the stability, a tank-based method is implemented to ensure the passivity of the impedance system. Finally, the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

In this study, a data-driven approach using the embedded variational principle is used to identify the variational equations of vortex-induced vibration fluid-solid coupled systems, in particular the coupling term and the aerodynamic damping term. Under the data-driven paradigm,variational equation identification is primarily accomplished through five steps: collecting discrete data, setting variational functions, building the product function, solving linear equations, and evaluating errors. The explicit variational equations of the system are eventually determined automatically from the excitation and response. Gaussian white noise is added to the excitation to evaluate the method's noise robustness. The findings demonstrate that numerical estimation which stays away from higher-order derivatives significantly enhances the variational law identification's noise robustness by taking advantage of the variational law's lower order time ***, the arbitrariness of the variational setting inherent in the variational law significantly improves the effectiveness of data utilization and lowers the necessary data volume. In addition, a system of linear equations is solved by identifying connected nonlinear equations, which significantly increases modelling efficiency. The basis for engineering modelling, optimization, and control of intricate fluid-solid coupled systems are provided by these benefits.
