Accurately and promptly detecting the pipeline anomaly is crucial to the safe operation of pipeline systems, while a difficulty lies in that many existing methods require massive data for training models. However, pipelines are running under normal state for the most of the time, and labeled pipeline anomaly data is usually scarce. Among the commonly used sensors, vibration sensors are widely utilized in pipeline detection because of their advantages such as easy installation and high sensitivity. However, the vibration signal shows non-stationary characteristics when anomalies occur, and are contaminated by noises, making it difficult to represent the actual state with features extracted from either the time or frequency domain. Accordingly, this paper proposes a pipeline anomaly detection method based on the KPCA (kernel principal component analysis) and cosine distance prototypical network. First, features are extracted from original signals;then, the feature dimension is reduced by KPCA;last, the cosine distance is introduced to the prototypical network for anomaly detection. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by case studies involving experimental data. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents an enhanced friction compensation anti-disturbance control strategy for improving the speed regulation control performance of a permanent magnet synchronous motor operating in low-speed mode. This is achieved via friction modelling and lumped disturbance compensation by seamlessly integrating extended state observer (ESO) and Kalman filter algorithms. Considering that nonlinear friction torque can not be ignored at low speeds, a piece-wise linearized friction model is first established based on speed estimation of Kalman filter and ESO. Then feed-forward compensation of friction torque and lumped disturbance estimation is conducted to reduce speed fluctuation during load changes at low speeds. Comparative simulation studies in the presence of measurement noises, external disturbances and nonlinear friction torque are conducted to validate the proposed algorithm with improved performance. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

Single-view 3D human reconstruction has been a hot topic due to the potential of wide applications. To achieve high accuracy, existing works usually take computationally intensive models as backbone for exhaustive underlying features and then directly estimate human mesh vertices. These factors lead to redundant parameters, large calculations and low efficiency, while lightweight solutions to address these challenges are relatively scarce. In this work, based on the problems studied above, we propose a keypoints-guided lightweight network with an encoding-decoding framework. As the input is an image, a lightweight backbone named multi-stage and global feature enhanced network is designed for 2D encoding, where some operations of multi-scale fusion and frequency domain filtering are performed to extract more informative but low-resolution features. As the output is mesh of human body, we construct a keypoints-based 3D human template, with which the 2D low-resolution features can be mapped to 3D space to guide the 3D decoding with high efficiency and high accuracy. Extensive experiments on popular benchmarks 3DPW and Human3.6M illustrate the favorable trade-off between the accuracy and complexity of our method. 原子模拟和实验研究表明低维纳米材料具有反常热传导特性,建立唯象反常热弹耦合模型,研究强热传导导致的热力耦合响应,对微纳器件的安全稳定运行至关重要.本文旨在从反常热传导的视角重新审视分数阶热弹耦合模型。反常热传导由第二声效应引起,考虑波动热传导理论,建立了波动热传导与粘弹性理论的类比,阐明了Cattaneo-Vernotte模型和Green-Naghdi模型的关联.通过引入分数阶导数,构建了基于Cattaneo-Vernotte和Green-Naghdi理论的分数阶热弹耦合模型。数值结果表明:对分数阶次区间[O,1],分数阶Cattaneo-Vernotte(FCV)I模型和分数阶Green-Naghdi(FGN)I-III模型都能预测反常热弹耦合响应:比经典热弹性理论更高的温度和应力;温度和应力随时间的变化显示:FGNII模型在所有时间范围内都能得到反常响应.对Green-Naghdi模型及其分数阶模型的进一步系统研究,有助于揭示反常热传导和热弹耦合机理,并促进纳米材料的广泛应用.

In order to improve the compensation accuracy and speed of the static synchronous compensator (DSTATCOM) for the unbalanced load, a novel linear active disturbance rejection controller is proposed in this paper. The controller is applied to the current tracking control of DSTATCOM, and its mathematical model is derived. The performance of the new linear active disturbance rejection controller is analyzed by frequency domain analysis to prove its correctness. Finally, the operation performance of DSTATCOM under the action of the new controller is verified by MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, and compared with the traditional ADRC controller. The results show that the capacitive split DSTATCOM controller has better compensation performance and is more practical. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Context-Aided Semantic-Aware Self-Alignment for Video-Based Person Re-Identification

Video-based person re-identification (Re-ID) aims at associating the video sequences of the identical person across multiple cameras. The ubiquitous appearance misalignment poses a major obstacle for video person Re-ID. Existing alignment-based methods generally rely on off-the-shelf semantic parsing models to locate visible human parts, which ignore identifiable personal belongings and cannot handle various interferences (e.g., pedestrian detection errors and occlusions) in video clips. In this work, we propose a novel framework termed Context-Aided Semantic-Aware Self-Alignment (CSSA) for video-based person Re-ID. First, we propose to jointly learn pixel-level part-aligned representations and semantic-aligned global-level representations in an end-to-end manner. Unlike most existing approaches that depend on prior information in terms of pose for part estimation, CSSA can locate different body parts and achieve the pixel-level semantic alignment without extra human topology semantics. Second, a Context-Aided Region Enhancement (CARE) module is proposed to efficiently highlight macro-visual patterns associated with the target pedestrian and suppress noise caused by factors like background clutters and occlusions. Third, we propose a Semantic-Aware Global Feature Alignment (SGFA) method for generating pair-wise semantic-aligned global representations, which play an essential role in both the training and inference phases. Extensive experimental results on multiple challenging benchmarks indicate the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed CSSA. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

Smart soft dielectric elastomer actuators(SSDEAs)possess wide applications in soft robotics due to their properties similar to natural muscles,including large deformation ratio,high energy density,and fast response ***,the complicated asymmetric and rate-dependent hysteresis property,creep property and quadratic input property of the SSDEA pose enormous challenges to its dynamic modeling and motion *** this paper,first,we construct the dynamic model of the SSDEA by connecting a square module,a one-sided Prandtl–Ishlinskii(OSPI)model and a linear system in series to describe the above *** key and innovative aspect of the dynamic modeling lies in cascading the square module in series with the OSPI model to construct the asymmetric hysteresis ***,a PI-funnel and inverse hysteresis compensation(PIFIHC)cascade control method of the SSDEA is proposed to actualize its tracking control *** performing the inversion operation on the asymmetric hysteresis model,the inverse hysteresis compensation controller(IHCC)is designed to compensate the asymmetric hysteresis property and quadratic input property of the *** addition,a PI-funnel controller is designed to cascade with the IHCC to construct the PIFIHC cascade controller to obtain a good tracking ***,the stability analysis of the PIFIHC cascade control system of the SSDEA is performed to theoretically prove that the tracking error can be controlled within the performance funnel and the steady-state error converges to ***,several practical tracking control experiments of the SSDEA are conducted,and RRMSEs are less than 2.30%for all *** experimental results indicate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed PIFIHC cascade control method of the SSDEA.
