This paper deals with a cooperation communication problem (relay selection and power control) for mobile underwater acoustic communication networks. To achieve satisfactory transmission capacity, we propose a reinforcement-learning-based cooperation communication scheme to efficiently resist the highly dynamic communication links and strongly unknown time-varying channel states caused by the mobility of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). Firstly, a particular Markov decision process is developed to model the dynamic relay selection process of mobile AUV in the unknown scenario. In the developed model, an experimental statistical-based partition mechanism is proposed to cope with the greatly increasing dimension of the state space caused by the mobility of AUV, reducing the search optimization difficulty. Secondly, a dual-thread reinforcement learning structure with actual and virtual learning threads is proposed to efficiently track the superior relay action. In the actual learning thread, the proposed improved probability greedy policy enables the AUV to strengthen the exploration for the reward information of potential superior relays on the current state. Meanwhile, in the virtual learning thread, the proposed upper-confidence-bound-index-based uncertainty estimation method can estimate the action-reward level of historical states. Consequently, the combination of actual and virtual learning threads can efficiently obtain satisfactory Q value information, thereby making superior relay decision-making in a short time. Thirdly, a power control mechanism is proposed to reuse the current observed action-reward information and transform the multiple unknown parameter nonlinear joint power optimization problem into a convex optimization problem, thereby enhancing network transmission capacity. Time-varying formation tracking control of high-order multi-agent systems with multiple leaders and multiplicative noise

This work discusses the time-varying formation(TVF) tracking control problem of high-order multi-agent systems(MASs) with multiple leaders and multiplicative measurement noise. With the help of Lyapunov function tools and stochastic analysis methods, the TVF tracking protocol with multiple leaders and multiplicative noise is developed based on the relative state measurements, where followers are driven to realize the target TVF while tracking the convex combination formed by multiple leaders. Then, the TVF tracking problem is converted into the mean square asymptotic stability problem of a stochastic differential equation(SDE); sufficient conditions related to the control gains are given by stabilizing the corresponding stochastic system. Moreover, a TVF tracking algorithm is presented to outline the steps of protocol ***, the theoretical results are illustrated in terms of simulation examples.

This article focuses on dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM)-based model predictive control(MPC) for T-S fuzzy systems.A hybrid dynamic variables-dependent DETM is carefully devised,which includes a multiplicative dynamic variable and an additive dynamic *** addressed DETM-based fuzzy MPC issue is described as a “min-max” optimization problem(OP).To facilitate the co-design of the MPC controller and the weighting matrix of the DETM,an auxiliary OP is proposed based on a new Lyapunov function and a new robust positive invariant(RPI) set that contain the membership functions and the hybrid dynamic variables.A dynamic event-triggered fuzzy MPC algorithm is developed accordingly,whose recursive feasibility is analysed by employing the RPI *** the designed controller,the involved fuzzy system is ensured to be asymptotically *** examples show that the new DETM and DETM-based MPC algorithm have the advantages of reducing resource consumption while yielding the anticipated performance.

Fixed-time stabilization of discontinuous spatiotemporal neural networks with time-varying coefficients via aperiodically switching control

This paper focuses on the challenge of fixed-time control for spatiotemporal neural networks(SNNs) with discontinuous activations and time-varying coefficients. A novel fixed-time convergence lemma is proposed, which facilitates the handling of time-varying coefficients of SNNs and relaxes the restriction on the non-positive definiteness of the derivative of the Lyapunov function. Besides, a more flexible and economical aperiodically switching control technique is presented to stabilize SNNs within a fixed time,efectively reducing the amount of information transmission and control costs. Under the newly established fixed-time convergence lemma and aperiodically switching controller, many more general algebraic conditions are deduced to ensure the fixed-time stabilization of SNNs. Numerical examples are provided to manifest the validity of the results.

BeltLineNet: A Shape-Prior-Guided Lightweight Network for Real-Time Deviation Detection in Circular Pipe Conveyors

Belt deviation in circular pipe conveyor systems could lead to material spillage, environmental contamination, reduced efficiency, and accelerated belt wear. Real-time belt deviation detection is crucial for ensuring safe and efficient operation. However, existing methods, primarily developed for flat-belt systems, heavily rely on distinct belt-background semantics, making them unsuitable for circular conveyors where indistinct target features, motion blur, and occlusions pose significant challenges. To address these issues, we reformulate the deviation detection task as an object detection problem, proposing BeltLineNet, a lightweight, real-time deviation detection network specifically designed for circular pipe conveyors. Our method integrates explicit feature learning with a coarse-to-fine global feature fusion mechanism, enhancing belt line representation under complex conditions. Additionally, a shape-prior loss strategy is introduced to improve supervision during training, ensuring more accurate detection of elongated targets. The model is also optimized for real-time deployment through layer-adaptive pruning, achieving a balance between accuracy and computational efficiency. Extensive comparative experiments involving 8 state-of-the-art (SOTA) feature extraction networks and 6 feature enhancement strategies on a self-collected dataset under industrial conditions demonstrate that BeltLineNet surpasses SOTA feature extraction and fusion networks, improving average precision (AP) by 8.23% before pruning and 6.33% after pruning. © 2001-2012 IEEE.

Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with prescribed-time Nash equilibrium(PTNE)seeking problem in a pursuit-evasion game(PEG)involving agents with second-order *** order to achieve the prior-given and user-defined convergence time for the PEG,a PTNE seeking algorithm has been developed to facilitate collaboration among multiple pursuers for capturing the evader without the need for any global ***,it is theoretically proved that the prescribedtime convergence of the designed algorithm for achieving Nash equilibrium of ***,the effectiveness of the PTNE method was validated by numerical simulation results.A PEG consists of two groups of agents:evaders and *** pursuers aim to capture the evaders through cooperative efforts,while the evaders strive to evade *** is a classic noncooperative *** has attracted plenty of attention due to its wide application scenarios,such as smart grids[1],formation control[2],[3],and spacecraft rendezvous[4].It is noteworthy that most previous research on seeking the Nash equilibrium of the game,where no agent has an incentive to change its actions,has focused on asymptotic and exponential convergence[5]-[7].
