Physics-Informed Neural Network(PINN)represents a new approach to solve Partial Differential Equations(PDEs).PINNs aim to solve PDEs by integrating governing equations and the initial/boundary conditions(I/BCs)into a loss ***,the imbalance of the loss function caused by parameter settings usually makes it difficult for PINNs to converge,*** they fall into local *** other words,the presence of balanced PDE loss,initial loss and boundary loss may be critical for the *** addition,existing PINNs are not able to reveal the hidden errors caused by non-convergent boundaries and conduction errors caused by the PDE near the ***,these problems have made PINN-based methods of limited use on practical *** this paper,we propose a novel physics-informed neural network,*** adaptive physics-informed neural network with a two-stage training *** algorithm adds spatio-temporal coefficient and PDE balance parameter to the loss function,and solve PDEs using a two-stage training process:pre-training and formal *** pre-training step ensures the convergence of boundary loss,whereas the formal training process completes the solution of PDE by balancing various loss *** order to verify the performance of our method,we consider the imbalanced heat conduction and Helmholtz equations often appearing in practical *** Klein-Gordon equation,which is widely used to compare performance,reveals that our method is able to reduce the hidden *** results confirm that our algorithm can effectively and accurately solve models with unbalanced loss function,hidden errors and conduction *** codes developed in this manuscript are publicy available at https://***/callmedrcom/ATPINN.

Rail surface defect inspection is an essential task for the railway system. However, due to the similarity of the background and defect foreground pixels, uneven textures, irregular shapes and multiple scales of the existing defects, the inspection accuracy is still required to be further improved. In this paper, we first expand our dataset by GAN-based method for the scarcity of the defect samples. Then, we propose a diffusion-based model to perform the classification and segmentation task. The diffusion model predicts the mask from the Gaussian noise broken ground truth by successive designed transformer decoder. Meanwhile, to better distinguish the pixels in the boundary or other illegible regions, a boundary-frequency feature enhancement module (BFM) is proposed to make the model pay more attention to the defect-related features. Experiments on the rail surface defect dataset revealed that the proposed diffusion-based transformer decoder and BFM can work well together and efficiently improve the rail surface defect segmentation accuracy.

High temperature rise of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor can lead to irreversible demagnetization of the motor permanent magnet, which can negatively affect the motor performance. To address this problem, a thermal modeling analysis method based on Transfer learning-Deep neural network (TL-DNN) was proposed in this paper. Its specific implementation steps include (1) corresponding to different heat source inputs, the equivalent thermal circuit method and the finite element analysis was adopted based on the structure and main parameters of PMLSM including overall average temperature rise, coil temperature rise and permanent magnet temperature rise from the data sets of the motor;(2) TL-DNN was used to fit the functional relationship between the input source features and the output targets based on the characteristics of the sample data sets. In order to verify the accuracy of the prediction model with small sample data sets, this paper divided the proportion of the data set and compared the results with other classic nonparametric models (random forest, support vector machine, and deep neural network). The results show that the TL-DNN model outperforms other machine learning models and has better robustness and generalization ability when the training datasets are insufficient, and achieves an organic combination of physical field path model and data-driven model, which provides a feasible solution for PMLSM modeling in the case of small samples. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The rational design of weighting factors in the cost function for finite control set model predictive torque control (FCS-MPTC) has been a matter of great interest in power electronics and electrical drives. In order to solve this problem, a weighting factors autotuning strategy for FCS-MPTC of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on the adaptive multi-objective black hole algorithm (AMOBH) is proposed. In this paper, the design process of the FCS-MPTC algorithm is first analyzed in detail. Then, an AMOBH algorithm that can take into account both population convergence and population diversity is introduced, and based on this algorithm, the design problem of the weighting factors is successfully transformed into a multi-objective optimization problem by means of reconstructing the cost function and designing the motor operation information collected in real time as the objective functions of the multi-objective optimization algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed method can find a set of weighting factor combinations suitable for different working condition requirements, and these weighting factors can effectively improve the operation performance of the PMSM system. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In renewable energy grids, solar irradiance prediction is significant for electric operation planning. The emphasis of our work is forecasting irradiance changes over multiple days ahead using hourly irradiance data in association with weather parameters such as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, wind speed, and cloud cover. Specifically, a framework based on TimesNet was proposed for 4-day global horizontal irradiance (GHI) forecasting and a comparative experiment was conduct with three well-performing models in long-term forecasting tasks. The experimental results indicate that the suggested method outperformed the accuracy when compared to other models, with MSE 0.198, MAE 0.259, RMSE 0.445 and R 2 0.787.

Joint face super-resolution and frontalization of non-frontal low-resolution faces is of significant importance for many face analysis applications. However, at the same time, it is a challenging task. In this paper, a novel Guided Transformative Generative Adversarial Network (GT-GAN) is proposed to address the challenge of generating frontal high-resolution face images from non-frontal low-resolution face images. Existing methods usually treat super-resolution and frontalization as two separate tasks, leading to unsatisfactory processing results. GTG AN innovatively achieves both goals within a unified frame-work. Specifically, we propose Profile Attention Guidance (PAG) to generate landmark heatmaps that provide a priori pose information to the generative network and direct its attention to critical facial regions. In addition, an Attention Fusion Transformation Module (AFTM) is proposed to significantly improve the hallucination performance of the network by utilizing the attention mechanism and STNs, combined with sequential feature enhancement strategies. The experimental results show that GT-GAN exhibits superior performance in the joint face super-resolution and frontalization task on the public face dataset Multi-PIE, which provides new ideas and references for this challenging topic.

This paper tackles the challenge of achieving prescribed-time synchronization (PTS) for stochastic complex networks (SCNs) under the framework of aperiodically intermittent control (AIC). The adoption of a time-varying function ensures all states of the SCNs reach synchronization at the preset time. Compared with the PTS under the framework of deterministic systems, the introduction of stochastic disturbances has more practical significance. Introducing an auxiliary function makes the Lyapunov method mentioned in this paper valid under the AIC framework. Moreover, the AIC proposed in this paper relies on the average control rate instead of the infimum control rate, leading to less conservative results. At last, the viability of the theoretical results is confirmed by a simulation of a strongly connected digraph.

Model-Agnostic Meta-Learning (MAML) and its variants have shown remarkable performance in scenarios characterized by a scarcity of labeled data during the training phase of machine learning models. Despite these successes, MAML-based approaches encounter significant challenges when there is a substantial discrepancy in the distribution of training and testing tasks, resulting in inefficient learning and limited generalization across domains. Inspired by classical proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control theory, this study introduces a Layer-Adaptive PID (LA-PID) Optimizer, a MAML-based optimizer that employs efficient parameter optimization methods to dynamically adjust task-specific PID control gains at each layer of the network, conducting a first-principles analysis of optimal convergence conditions. A series of experiments conducted on four standard benchmark datasets demonstrate the efficacy of the LA-PID optimizer, indicating that LA-PID achieves state-of-the-art performance in few-shot classification and cross-domain tasks, accomplishing these objectives with fewer training steps. Image steganography is the process of hiding secret information into an image while still keeping its original appearance intact. It plays a crucial role in secure communication and data storage. While deep learning-based techniques have shown notable progress in the field of image steganography, they still face challenges in extraction accuracy and robust security. This paper introduces an innovative image steganography method utilizing the diffusion model, which is the most powerful technique of image generation. Our method utilizes the sampling process of the diffusion model to hide the secret image in the generated image, and the receiver uses the secret key to extract the secret data accurately. The results of our experiments validate the effectiveness of our approach, outperforming existing methods in security, capacity, and extraction precision, which shows the potential for practical applications.
