The rapidly growing amount of social interaction makes geographical names an important and indispensable medium for people in social and economic exchanges. Especially in today's information age, the frequency of usage of name information has increased greatly. In this paper, a method for the construction of a cities' names database is proposed. This will include the processing of the outcome data from the names pilot survey, the consolidation into the database, the development of the cloud service and management system based on the geographical names and zoning database, and the construction of a relatively complete set of the public service system of geographical names based on a website and touch screen interface. The method has been applied in San Ya, China successfully, and very good results have been obtained. The platform can provide not only accurate and convenient services of geographical names, but also promote its economic development and social progress.

In this paper, a deep residual network based on convolutional block attention module (CBAM) is proposed, which is utilized for feature extraction of partially occluded face expression data. The proposed method overcomes the problem of localized occlusion face feature extraction by focusing on the regions and channels containing important information in the occluded face data through CBAM. Multi-task cascaded convolutional networks (MTCNN) are firstly utilized to localize the key regions of face emotion, and then deep emotion features are extracted by CBAM-ResNet network. The final emotion labels are generated. The effectiveness of this paper's method is verified on the RAF-DB dataset and the occluded CK+ dataset. The experimental accuracy in the RAF-DB dataset is 76.3%, which is 3.74% and 1.64% higher than the accuracy produced by the method of RGBT, and the WLS-RF, respectively. Application experiments are carried out in the real teaching scenario, which verifies the applicability of the algorithm in the real teaching scene.

In transport of micro- or nanosized particles through a confined structure driven by thermal fluctuations and external forcing—a situation that arises commonly in a variety of fields in physical and biological sciences, efficient and controllable separation of particles of different sizes is an important but challenging problem. We study, numerically and analytically, the diffusion dynamics of Brownian particles through the biologically relevant setting of a spatially periodic structure, subject to static and temporally periodic forcing. Molecular dynamical simulations reveal that the mean velocity in general depends sensitively on the particle size. The phenomenon of current reversal is uncovered, where particles larger than or smaller than a critical size diffuse in exactly opposite directions. This striking behavior occurs in a wide range of the forcing amplitude and provides a mechanism to separate the Brownian particles of different sizes. Besides the forcing amplitude, other parametric quantities characterizing the forcing profile, such as the temporal asymmetry, can also be exploited to modulate or control the transport dynamics of particles of different sizes. To gain a theoretical understanding, we exploit the Fick-Jacobs approximation to obtain a one-dimensional description of the diffusion problem, which enables key quantities characterizing the diffusion process, such as the mean velocity, to be predicted. In the regime of weak forcing, a reasonable agreement between theory and numerical results is achieved. Beyond the weakly forcing regime, the diffusion approximation breaks down, causing the theoretical predictions to deviate from the numerical results, into which we provide physical insights. Our findings have potential applications in optimizing transport in microfluidic devices or through biological channels.

This paper investigates the problem of outlier-resistant distributed fusion filtering(DFF)for a class of multi-sensor nonlinear singular systems(MSNSSs)under a dynamic event-triggered scheme(DETS).To relieve the effect of measurement outliers in data transmission,a self-adaptive saturation function is ***,to further reduce the energy consumption of each sensor node and improve the efficiency of resource utilization,a DETS is adopted to regulate the frequency of data *** the addressed MSNSSs,our purpose is to construct the local outlier-resistant filter under the effects of the measurement outliers and the DETS;the local upper bound(UB)on the filtering error covariance(FEC)is derived by solving the difference equations and minimized by designing proper filter ***,according to the local filters and their UBs,a DFF algorithm is presented in terms of the inverse covariance intersection fusion *** such,the proposed DFF algorithm has the advantages of reducing the frequency of data transmission and the impact of measurement outliers,thereby improving the estimation ***,the uniform boundedness of the filtering error is discussed and a corresponding sufficient condition is ***,the validity of the developed algorithm is checked using a simulation example.

Path planning and obstacle avoidance in 3D terrain have been identified as a monumental challenge for a UAV in a variety of autonomous missions, such as disaster management and search and rescue operations. In large terrain areas, it’s a key problem for traditional approaches to search within the point-cloud maps to find a global path for a UAV considering the flight safety, maneuverability, weather constraints, and fuel cost. Hence, this paper proposes a trajectory planning technique for global and local path planning of a fixed-wing UAV above 3D terrain under static and dynamic constraints. For global path generation, a novel Feature Selection and Learning-based Model (FSLM) has been introduced to select the features of a point-cloud map and transform them into the feature set. The feature set is utilized by an improved A* planner with an extensive search area to deliver an optimal global path. The global path is assumed as the UAV's reference waypoints. The motion of the UAV on reference waypoints is simplified with two coordinates (R, d), where R is the cumulative distance covered by the UAV along the reference waypoints and d is its offset distance from the reference line segment in time t. For any local collision, offset trajectories are generated along with reference waypoints to avoid collision. Cost functions have been added so that the best global and local path can be chosen, taking into account altitude, weather, and fuel constraints. The simulation results show the performance of this approach in various complex terrains by considering weather and dynamic constraints, and the results are also compared to other 3D UAV path planning techniques. © 2022, The Authors. This paper presents a novel parallel system for Rail Transit based on ACP approach (Artificial systems, Computational experiments, Parallel execution), which is proposed to address issues on safety, efficiency and reliability of their operation and optimization. Firstly, the construction of dynamic, overall and real Artificial Rail Transit systems and their demonstration are provided. Then, based on these systems, the platform, content and analysis of computational experiments and comprehensive evaluation system are researched. Finally, parallel control and management of the actual systems via parallel execution can be achieved. By Parallel Rail Transit systems, a set of recommendations and strategies of railway can be formed, which would improve the overall functionality of the trail transit system.

In recent years, the rapid development of network and E-commerce technologies, promotes the development of human body big data. New technologies, such as 3D scanning and 3D printing will improve our life quality. The new socialized manufacturing network composed of IoT, advanced logistics network and 3D printers. Everyone is allowed to have chance to participate in any process of the whole production manufacturing lifecycle by some ways, such as crowdsourcing. Boosts the creation, production and consumption patterns of individuation, real-time transformation and E-commerce, possibly will lead to a new industrial revolution. In this revolutionary change wave, public concerns focus on the human body big data used for social manufacturing of wearable products or personalized medical treatment. Although many scholars have done a lot of research work, the collection of the human body shape big data still faces many challenges. There is no complete, separated theoretical research works in progress, it should be summarized and improved systematically. In this paper, we review that big data for human body shape is gaining momentum. The 3D scanning and 3D modeling of human body shape are summarized and concluded. The main applications of these big data are analyzed.

Improving the precision of weak-value-amplification with two cascaded Michelson interferometers based on Vernier-effect

A modified-weak-value-amplification(MWVA) technique of measuring the mirror's velocity based on the Vernier-effect has been proposed. We have demonstrated with sensitivity-enhanced and the higher signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) by using two cascaded Michelson interferometers. These two interferometers are composed of similar optical structures. One interferometer with a fixed mirror acts as a fixed part of the Vernier-scale, while the other with a moving mirror acts as a sliding part of the Vernier-scale for velocity sensing. The envelope of the cascaded interferometers shifts much more than a single one with a certain enhancement factor, which is related to the free space range difference between these two interferometers. In addition, we calculate the SNR based on the Fisher information with both the MWVA technique and the traditional-weak-value-amplification(TMVA) technique. The results show that the SNR with our MWVA technique is larger than the the SNR with the TWVA technique within the range of our time measurement window. Our numerical analysis proved that our MWVA technique is more efficient than the TWVA technique. And by using the principles of the Vernier-effect, it is applicative and convenient to ulteriorly improving the sensitivity and SNR in measuring other quantities with the MWVA technique. © 2021, CC BY.

Weak measurement has enabled fundamental studies in both experiment and theory of quantum measurement. Numerous researches have indicated that weak measurements have a wide range of application and scientific research value. In our work, we used bibliometric methods to evaluate the global scientific output of research on Weak measurement and explore the current status and trends in this field from 2000 to 2020. The R bibliometric package was used for quantitative and qualitative analyses of publication outputs and author contributions. In total, 636 related articles and reviews were included in the final analysis. The main results were as follows: The number of publications has increased substantially with time. Physical Review A was the most active journal. The country and institution contributing the most to this field were The United States and University Rochester respectively. The analysis of the conceptual structure of keywords indicated that weak measurements were involved a variety of metrology, quantum communication, and nonclassical features of quantum mechanics. Our bibliometric analysis shows that weak measurement research continues to be a hot-spot. The focus has evolved to study quantum information and amplify weak signals. © 2021, CC BY.

The integration of signals from physical, social and cyber spaces, known as Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS), is a new research paradigm for urban transportation, where the traffic control and management (C&M) is collaborative optimized among the three sub-systems. Though some technologies and optimization methods have been studied since its proposition, there is a lack of a systemic architecture as well as an overall implementation about how to efficiently exploit the social signals. For this reason, this paper proposes a general framework of CPSS for urban transportation and presents a feasible solution for traffic optimization based on knowledge automation. The specific implementation includes basic modeling of CPSS, knowledge evolution and reasoning, and collaborative optimization of C&P strategies. As a remarkable highlight, the influence of both individual activities and social learning is concerned during knowledge evolution and reasoning part. A case study from the application in the city of Dongguan is also given to validate our proposed framework and methods, showing that they can efficiently improve the average speed of the actual transportation.
