Geo-hazards have become one of the main disasters endangering the safety of people's lives and property in the *** order to improve the early warning of disasters, a persistent monitoring method of multi-agent systems is proposed in this *** ensure that the agent's energy is never exhausted, the set invariance constraint is included in the optimization problem. The goal is to minimize the difference between the actual control input of the robot and the nominal control input corresponding to the task to be performed. Moreover, the control barrier function(CBF) is used to transform the forward invariance of a subset of the robot state space into a control input constraint. The coverage control method in an uncertain environment is verified by numerical simulation. This work provides new insights into effective monitoring and early warning of geo-hazards.

In recent years, underwater vehicle-manipulator systems(UVMSs) have captured researchers' attention. Inspired by fish, bionic mechanisms were introduced into a *** underwater biomimetic vehicle-manipulator system(UBVMS) is actuated by two symmetrically arranged biomimetic undulatory fin propulsors [1]. Based on the UBVMS, some topics have been researched, such as freefloating autonomous operation [2, 3], three-dimensional helical path following [4], and underwater video processing [5].

Intelligent Gear Shifting Strategy of Mining Truck Based on Deep Learning and Real-Time Vehicle Condition

Mining areas are characterized by complex driving conditions, making automatic gear shift strategies specifically suited for mine trucks are critical. Nevertheless, development of automatic gear shifting strategy is under challenging, as it relies on experience and historical experiment data which is the top classified commercial secret of the manufacturers. Recently, some gear shifting strategies have been implemented based on artificial intelligent technology. However, many of them shift the gear based on vehicle current status and ignore the influences of historical data. It has potential risk by making wrong shift when receiving abnormal sensor data accidentally. Besides that, it also causes the gear continuous shifting within short time, which increases the chance of transmission damage and influences the driving experience. Consequently, a novel method based on Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory(Bi-LSTM) network with multiple parameters from continuous time spans for gear prediction is proposed. The real-time vehicle status data is becaptured from CAN-bus, and 9 types of parameters with positive relation for gear shifting are chosen by R/S analysis. By inputting values of 9 paramters from continuous time spans to our Bi-LSTM based machine learning model, gear prediction target is achieved. The experimental records show that our network outputs the gears best suited to the current vehicle state with 96.85% accuracy. Its average prediction time consumption is around 3.86ms, which fits the real-time processing requirement in driving. Our network not only has advantages in balancing prediction correct rate and time consumption, but also maintains high accuracy when overcoming the influence of transient abnormal sensor data. Hence, it has the potential to be widely applied to the fields that prediction model is based on the data with temporal characteristic. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Simple Full-Spectrum Correlated k-Distribution Model based on Multilayer Perceptron

While neural networks have been successfully applied to the full-spectrum k-distribution (FSCK) method at a large range of thermodynamics with k-values predicted by a trained multilayer perceptron (MLP) model, the required a-values still need to be calculated on-the-fly, which theoretically degrades the FSCK method and may lead to errors. On the other hand, too complicated structure of the current MLP model inevitably slows down the calculation efficiency. Therefore, to compensate among accuracy, efficiency and storage, the simple MLP designed based on the nature of FSCK method are developed, i.e., the simple FSCK MLP (SFM) model, from which those correlated k-values and corresponding ka-values can be efficiently obtained. Several test cases have been carried out to compare the developed SFM model and other FSCK tools including look-up tables and traditional FSCK MLP (TFM) model. Results show that the SFM model can achieve excellent accuracy that is even better than look-up tables at a tiny computational cost that is far less than that of TFM model. Considering accuracy, efficiency and portability, the SFM model is not only an excellent tool for the prediction of spectral properties, but also provides a method to reduce the errors due to nonlinear effects. Crowdsourcing is a critical technology in social manufacturing, which leverages an extensive and boundless reservoir of human resources to handle a wide array of complex tasks. The successful execution of these complex tasks relies on task decomposition (TD) and allocation, with the former being a prerequisite for the latter. Recently, pre-trained language models (PLMs)based methods have garnered significant attention. However, they are constrained to handling straightforward common-sense tasks due to their inherent restrictions involving limited and difficult-to-update knowledge as well as the presence of "hallucinations". To address these issues, we propose a retrieval-augmented generation-based crowdsourcing framework that reimagines TD as event detection from the perspective of natural language understanding. However, the existing detection methods fail to distinguish differences between event types and always depend on heuristic rules and external semantic analyzing tools. Therefore, we present a Prompt-Based Contrastive learning framework for TD (PBCT), which incorporates a prompt-based trigger detector to overcome dependence. Additionally, trigger-attentive sentinel and masked contrastive learning are introduced to provide varying attention to trigger and contextual features according to different event types. Experiment results demonstrate the competitiveness of our method in both supervised and zero-shot detection. A case study on printed circuit board manufacturing is showcased to validate its adaptability to unknown professional domains. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The development of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) technology provides a good opportunity to study cell heterogeneity and diversity. Especially, clustering is an important step in scRNA-seq analysis. With the advance of technology, many scRNA-seq data are available, which develop a lot of clustering methods. However, the existing methods usually employ the gene expression data, ignoring the related information between genes and the structure information in data. Therefore, we propose a new method (NDMgcn) to reconstruct the gene expression data based on the association of gene network, and cluster the data by Variational Autoencoder (V AE) and Graph Convolutional Network (GCN). The V AE learns low-dimensional information and the GCN learns structural information. The experimental results indicate that NDMgcn outperforms other popular algorithms in terms of NMI and ARI metrics. It provides a new insight for clustering scRNA-seq data from the network perspective. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, the H∞ consensus control problem for Markov jump multi-agent systems with imperfect time-varying transition probabilities is studied. Both the transition probability matrix and the higher-level transition probability matrix are considered to be partly unknown. What's more, the multiplicative noise is considered in the model to describe the factors from the changing environment. Sufficient conditions about state feedback controllers are derived by less linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and are more convenient to program compared with the previous works. At last, the simulations are supplied to illustrate the effectiveness of the conclusions. © 2022

Safety-critical scenarios are infrequent in natural driving environments but hold significant importance for the training and testing of autonomous driving systems. The prevailing approach involves generating safety-critical scenarios automatically in simulation by introducing adversarial adjustments to natural environments. These adjustments are often tailored to specific tested systems, thereby disregarding their transferability across different systems. In this paper, we propose AdvDiffuser, an adversarial framework for generating safety-critical driving scenarios through guided diffusion. By incorporating a diffusion model to capture plausible collective behaviors of background vehicles and a lightweight guide model to effectively handle adversarial scenarios, AdvDiffuser facilitates transferability. Experimental results on the nuScenes dataset demonstrate that AdvDiffuser, trained on offline driving logs, can be applied to various tested systems with minimal warm-up episode data and outperform other existing methods in terms of realism, diversity, and adversarial performance.

SWDPM: A Social Welfare-Optimized Data Pricing Mechanism

Data trading has been hindered by privacy concerns associated with user-owned data and the infinite reproducibility of data, making it challenging for data owners to retain exclusive rights over their data once it has been disclosed. Traditional data pricing models relied on uniform pricing or subscription-based models. However, with the development of Privacy-Preserving Computing techniques, the market can now protect the privacy and complete transactions using progressively disclosed information, which creates a technical foundation for generating greater social welfare through data usage. In this study, we propose a novel approach to modeling multi-round data trading with progressively disclosed information using a matchmaking-based Markov Decision Process (MDP) and introduce a Social Welfare-optimized Data Pricing Mechanism (SWDPM) to find optimal pricing strategies. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to model multi-round data trading with progressively disclosed information. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the SWDPM can increase social welfare 3 times by up to 54% in trading feasibility, 43% in trading efficiency, and 25% in trading fairness by encouraging better matching of demand and price negotiation among traders.
