This paper proposes a state observer and controller based on the second-order sliding mode scheme for underactuated overhead cranes with load hoisting and lowering. The designed state observer can effectively estimate the uncertainly and unmodeled dynamics of crane systems, and provide appropriate driving force compensations for the sliding mode controller designed by coupling the load swing angle. This guarantees an accurate load positioning and residual swing elimination. Based on the Lyapunov stability criterion, the asymptotic stability of the control system is proved Several simulations are implemented to verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed controller for anti-sway and positioning controls. © 2021 IEEE

Aiming at the prediction of truck travel time in open pit mines, we established a prediction model based on long short-term memory(LSTM). This model fully accounts for 11 factors, including the nature of trucks, weather, road conditions, and driver's behaviors, as well as the influence of neighbor road segments in the route on the current predicted road segment. The experiment shows that the error of the LSTM prediction model is significantly reduced compared with SVR and BP models. In addition, the maximum absolute mean error under different conditions is less than 12 seconds.

Total variation signal denoising is an effective nonlinear filtering method, which is suitable for the restoration of piecewise constant signals disturbed by white Gaussian noises. Towards efficient denoising of piecewise constant signals, a new total variation denoising algorithm based on an improved non-convex penalty function is proposed in this paper. While ensuring the objective function is convex, a new non-convex penalty is designed. The denoising efficiency is improved by updating the dynamic total variational adjustment in the penalty function to the static adjustment. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed denoising algorithm improved the denoising efficiency without affecting the denoising effect. The overall performance was shown better than the current excellent denoising algorithm. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In STT-MRAM, data is stored in a magnetic tunnel structure (MTJ) containing multiple ferromagnetic layers. Each ferromagnetic layer generates a stray field, which affects the critical switching current, switching time, thermal stability, and the density of the MTJ array. These factors have a direct impact on the performance and storage capacity of STT-MRAM. Previously, we have studied that hexagonal MTJ arrays can improve storage density. However, this improvement also leads to increased intracellular and intercellular stray fields, which in turn affects the device's performance. This paper aims to reduce the intercellular stray field by covering each MTJ unit with a soft magnetic shielding layer and investigates the performance of the MTJ array with a shielding layer. Firstly, a simulation model of a single MTJ stack is built using the simulation software COMSOL. Then, based on modeling the MTJ stack, square and hexagonal MTJ arrays are established. The intercellular magnetic coupling coefficient (Ψ) is quoted, and Ψ=2% is defined as the threshold below which the intercellular magnetic coupling can be considered negligible. The results indicate that the soft magnetic shielding layer can effectively shield the stray field, reducing its impact on MTJ performance. Specifically, a thicker shielding layer with higher magnetic permeability provides better shielding efficacy. However, comparing square and hexagonal MTJ array after magnetic shielding reveals a larger stray field between the hexagonal array. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In the field of electric power distribution network operation, most tasks involve contact operations. A key technology to enable the flexible operation of robots in live distribution network tasks is the installation of six-dimensional force sensors on the robot's end flange. These sensors allow the robot to perceive external environmental contact forces. However, the presence of the end load interferes with the accurate perception of external forces. Aiming at the gravity compensation of robot end load, an optimization algorithm of gravity compensation based on particle swarm optimization is proposed. In this method, the optimal solution model is established with the objective of minimum sum of squared errors, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to estimate the mounting declination angle of the force sensor and improve the precision of gravity compensation. The experiments show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the maximum gravity compensation error and the average gravity compensation error in each direction after optimization, in which the maximum gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 9.11% and the average gravity compensation error of the resultant force is reduced by 12.34%. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem of data anomaly and data missing in distributed photovoltaic(PV) active power,this paper proposes a data quality improvement method based on time correlation and spatial *** terms of anomaly detection,back propagation(BP) neural network is used to establish a correlation model based on the correlation among active power and meteorological data on the time scale,and the difference method is used to detect and eliminate anomaly *** terms of missing data repair,Random Forest is used to establish a correlation model based on the spatial correlation among active power of power station to be repaired and its surrounding power station's,and the direct repair method is adopted to repair the missing *** experimental results show that the anomaly detection method based on time correlation can achieve an AUC value of more than 0.93,and the repair method based on spatial correlation can achieve more accurate repair results.

In order to improve the uniform light ability of optical integrator, a design method of variable diameter and off-axis optical integrator was proposed. Firstly, based on the theory of scalar diffraction, the factors affecting the ability of optical integrator to homogenize light were analyzed, and the structure of variable diameter and off-axis optical integrator was designed;Then, the relationship between the aperture and the arrangement of sub-eye lenses is explored by combining semi-definite programming theory and Lagrange-Helmholtz invariant. Finally, the optimal off-axis quantity of different ring strap eye lenses is determined from the perspective of geometric optics by using the aberration theory and following the principle of edge light, so as to achieve the improvement of the optical integrator's uniform light ability. The simulation results show that: On the effective irradiation surface ф26mm of the variable diameter off-axial integrator the irradiation non-uniformity is 2.0%, which decreases by 60% compared with the traditional integrator and reduces the system energy by 45%, which meets the energy utilization requirement of the optical integrator in the solar simulator. The homogenizing ability of optical integrator of solar simulator is improved on the premise that irradiation is not greatly affected and aspheric surface is not introduced. © 2023, The Authors. Low earth orbit satellite communication systems are attractive for provisioning global, high-speed and low latency Internet access services. In order to achieve global continuous multiple coverage, the number of satellites is tremendous. But Low earth orbit satellite networks are prone to instability due to unpredictable link failures and frequent topology changes. Therefore, in this paper, a novel routing schemes with quick response to link failures is first proposed. Based on Dijkstra algorithm, a scalable routing algorithm is proposed to minimize the end-to-end transmission delay. It takes advantage of the predictable constellation trajectory, and changes dynamically according to the changes of network topology. It provides the shortest routing path and an alternative path simultaneously. When a link failure is detected by one satellite, notification packets will be sent to its neighbors for adjustment to the alternative routing path. Notification packets also will be sent to the head node for the recalculation of routing table. Finally, extensive simulations have been conducted, and the results show that the proposed scheme is able to produce desired performance.

Microcantilevers are widely adopted in various fields for micro-mass sensing due to their simple structure and high sensitivity. The conventional microcantilever-based measurement methods required ultra-precision temperature control. However, such a requirement could hardly be satisfied and the temperature shifting would deteriorate the accuracy of mass sensing. In this research, a new temperature decoupling method for mass sensing is proposed by taking advantage of the relative relationship of the peaks in the impedance signals. Besides, a CBAM-CNN network with an adaptive weighted average preprocessing method is developed for the evaluation of the relative relationship of the peaks. This method can enhance the features of the impedance signal and highlight critical information with limited samples. Experiments showed that robust mass sensing with accuracy up to 99.70% can be achieved over a wide temperature range from 25 to 55 °C. In addition, the performance of the proposed network was compared to SVM, DNN, and CNN. This method offers a new mechanism for eliminating the influences of temperatures for precision cantilever-based mass sensing. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With increasing people who suffer from diet-related diseases, providing suggestions for personal daily nutrient-dense intake is highly expected. However, current dietary nutrition models are less precise, and dietary nutrition optimizers usually fail to give satisfactory solutions. Therefore, we construct a constrained many-objective nutrition model with more precise nutrient assessments and a scalable constrained many-objective benchmark set. This test suite has great flexibility in evaluating algorithms' performance on high dimensional search and objective spaces with some feasible region fragments. We also propose a kd-tree based dynamic constrained many-objective evolutionary algorithm to search for customized food combinations according to personal daily consumption and intake preference. Experiments show that our algorithm has better diversity maintenance ability in high dimension space.
