Locating 3D objects from a single RGB image via perspective projection is a long-standing problem in computer vision. Inspired by differentiable geometry methods in the field of camera relocation, we apply this neural network combined with differentiable perspective projection to form an end-to-end architecture to the field of object position estimation through object 3D reconstruction methods. The proposed method uses a differentiable LM algorithm for end-to-end pose estimation to achieve higher accuracy, and the gradient is passed back to the neural network to guide its learning. At the same time, we propose a virtual view generation algorithm for augmenting the data to improve the algorithm's sensitivity to the size of the co-vision region. Through experiments, we prove the effectiveness of our method. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The long pulse reflection method was used to detect the internal defects of the impact damage of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Under the excitation of halogen lamp, the thermal imager synchronized the change of the surface temperature field of the test block and stored in the form of infrared sequence images. In order to improve the imaging quality of infrared images, a variety of infrared sequence image processing algorithms were studied, including polynomial fitting method, robust principal component analysis, independent component analysis and pulse phase method. The performance of each sequence image processing algorithm was quantitatively analyzed by using peak signal-to-noise ratio, root mean square error and entropy. The results show that the image quality evaluation indexes of these four sequence image processing algorithms are better than those of the original image, indicating that these four algorithms are suitable for enhancing the infrared thermal image of impact damage. In particular, the peak signal-to-noise ratio and entropy of the robust principal component analysis enhancement results are optimal among all the processing methods, and the root mean square error is suboptimal. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently, the emotional robot has basic functions of perceiving and expressing emotions, but it still hard to communicate naturally between humans and robots. One major reason is that communication atmosphere is seldom considered in Human-robot Interaction (HRI). We propose Multi-modal (i.e., music background, speech, and semantics) Based Fuzzy Atmosfield (FA), which can not only realize the dynamic adjustment of FA but also dynamically regulate human emotions. In the experiment, a Pepper robot is used and one hundred volunteers are invited for HRI, and soothing piano pieces are used as background music. Questionnaires were filled by the volunteers after the experiments, from which the results show that 90% of the volunteers felt the dynamic changes in the communication atmosphere and 77% of the volunteers felt significant emotional regulation, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our method. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

The memory circuit is an important part of the composition of digital systems. Due to the composition of the memory structure, the memory can not only realize the function of storage but also can realize the combinational logic circuits, code conversion circuits, function generators, DDS signal source, etc., but the premise is that you need to write the data into the ROM/RAM first. Hence, the design of the ROM/RAM read/write circuits is especially critical. This paper carries out the design of memory read/write circuits and simulates the read/write circuits of 2K8RAM, based on which the schematic design of ROM/RAM constituting combinational logic circuits, code conversion circuits, and function generators is realized.

Numerical modeling of droplets injection in the secondary flow of the wet steam ejector in the refrigeration cycle

Steam ejector plays a key role in the refrigeration system. The water has been used as a working fluid because water is more economical and non-toxic. The operating fluid often enters the evaporator as a water liquid and droplets evaporate by absorbing heat. Cooling load changing causes the vapor in the outlet of the evaporator to be accompanied by droplets. Therefore, there are droplets at the inlet of secondary nozzle and flow should be simulated as a wet steam flow with injection droplets at the secondary flow. In this paper, the effects of droplets injection at secondary flow have been investigated on the performance of the refrigeration cycle. For this purpose, the Eulerian-Eulerian method has been used and the results have been validated with experimental data. Six cases are considered with different wetness and number of droplets in the secondary flow. The results of case 6 show COP, T-outlet, and ER decrease about 22.93%, 15.66%, and 22.93%, respectively. In addition, the steam accompanies by droplets at the outlet of ejector. Therefore, it is essential for designers and operators to model and consider the effects of the droplets on the wall erosion to optimize the wet steam ejector and refrigeration cycle performance.

A High-Quality View Synthesis System for Sparse Rgb-D Input

Recent research in neural rendering has achieved impressive results in the field of novel view synthesis. However, high-quality view synthesis with sparse source views remains a challenging task, as the reduction in the number of source views significantly degrades the synthesis quality. In this paper, we present a novel view synthesis system that exploits RGB-D pairs from sparse source views. First, we introduce a two-branch feature extraction network to embed the geometric clues from depth maps into the texture information of color images and fuse it with regularized Fourier mapping features. Second, a distance-aware feature query method, which constructs multi-level feature maps, is proposed to ensure high-fidelity details across different distance views. Then, we apply an occupancy network to perform occupancy prediction on raw point cloud. By integrating occupancy probabilities and extracted features, we use a prediction network with geometric information as an additional input to obtain the color and density of sampled points, and synthesize the target view using neural volume rendering. To prevent model degradation and enhance efficiency, we design an efficient sampling strategy based on Gaussian Mixture Model. Moreover, we introduce pixel-wise local regularization and full-image global geometric regularization to optimize the model. Extensive experiments show that the proposed method can achieve the state-of-the-art results for novel view synthesis with sparse inputs, and the model performance has been significantly improved in different scenarios. © 2024, The Authors. This paper derives an efficient control algorithm to deal with the output voltage tracking control problem of threephase inverters with multiple disturbances (including parametric perturbations of filter, abrupt disturbances caused by load switching and harmonic disturbances brought by unbalanced loads and nonlinear loads). This accomplishment is realized through the long prediction horizon finite-control-set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) and the integration of a composite disturbance observer (CDO) and a disturbance preview model into the sphere decoding algorithm (SDA). This integration facilitates the estimation and prediction of future disturbance behaviors within the inverter system, which addresses the poor disturbance-rejection limitations inherent in conventional SDA approaches employed in previous studies. The algorithm also improves the dynamic performances of the output voltage. Simulations studies are illustrated to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm. Based on the presented results, the algorithm achieves good disturbance rejection capability and maintains small tracking error. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.
