The fault detection of photovoltaic power generation system is of great significance in photovoltaic plant management. The conventional fault detection method of photovoltaic power system requires additional sensors, and the fault detection scheme needs to be redesigned if the parameters of the photovoltaic plant ***, for large photovoltaic plants, it is necessary to develop a method that does not require the use of external sensors or the detailed parameters of the photovoltaic plant. This paper proposes a photovoltaic system fault detection method based on photovoltaic array current and voltage data. This method does not require additional sensor data such as irradiance and temperature. The failure of photovoltaic system can be detected through the change of power,and the abnormal situation of photovoltaic power station can still be detected under cloudy and shaded conditions. The advantages of this method are that there is no need for complex and diverse sensor equipment, the calculation is simple and the fault detection ability is accurate. The experimental data of Padang Poverty Power Station of State Grid has been verified.

This paper investigates the clock synchronization problem of wireless sensor networks with time-varying noises and malicious denial of service（Do S） attacks. A robust and secure clock synchronization scheme based on filter is proposed in intermittent Do S attack case, which is composed of three steps: relative skew estimation, clock skew compensation and software clock reading compensation. Through the clock skew compensation, the synchronization error of the clock skew can be constrained into a bounded range. Through the software clock reading compensation, the possible error of the software clock reading can be compensated and the clock synchronization can be achieved completely. In addition, extensive simulations are conducted which validate that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing ones.

Distilling Object Detectors with Efficient Logit Mimicking and Mask-Guided Feature Imitation

Knowledge distillation (KD) is a promising approach to learning compact models for object detection with information inherited from intricate teacher networks. In this paper, we raise some shortcomings of existing KD methods for object detectors, e.g., ignoring knowledge selection, coarse feature imitation mask, etc. To address these issues, we present a novel KD framework to train efficient object detectors via Logit Mimicking and Feature Imitation (LMFI). First, we put forward a novel logit mimicking method for classification and localization heads. On the one hand, it first proposes to mimic the classification logits of one-category object detectors. On the other hand, we exploit the localization knowledge from teacher predictions and ground truths, which dynamically guides the learning of student's regression outputs by stages. Second, an adaptive positive teacher selection (APTS) strategy is designed to obtain high-quality teacher samples during distillation, which reduces the transmission of inferior knowledge. Moreover, we heuristically introduce a soft metric and fine-grained mask to reconcile the discrepancy between teacher and student features in a position-wise manner. Extensive experiments show that LMFI outperforms the state-of-the-art KD frameworks for object detection. It can significantly boost the performance of various detectors on different benchmarks, e.g., 2.83% and 2.58% MR-2 reduction of Cascade R-CNN on the S and All sets of CityPersons, and an improvement of ResNet-50 based ATSS from 36.7% to 40.5% mAP on the COCO benchmark. © 2023, The Authors. As a rehabilitation aid,the lower extremity rehabilitation robot usually works together with the patient during the rehabilitation training process,and achieves therapeutic effects by assisting the patient to complete movements within a certain trajectory for *** realize the active training of the rehabilitation robot,the rehabilitation robot needs to be able to recognize the patient's movement intention and cooperate with *** signals contain rich neuromuscular movement information and are often used to extract patients' movement *** this paper,using the principle of human lower extremity force generation,we designed an experiment for lower extremity action recognition of sEMG *** extracting the composition of feature vectors through time-domain feature values,we designed an SVM classifier to achieve the classification of five common lower extremity actions and obtained an average accuracy rate of 90.66% through the experiment,which verified the effectiveness of the experimental design.

In the automatic railway anomaly inspection technology based on image processing and deep learning, an effective algorithm used for high-precision detection of the fastening system is very important, especially in turnout sections. It is challenging because the background of the turnout sections is complicated with various types of targets. This paper improved the Faster R-CNN model, used multi-scale feature map fusion for small targets. And modified predefined anchor to generate region proposals, added attention module to make the network focus on meaningful feature. Besides, this paper used cross-entropy function and SmoothL1 loss function for training and labeled 1200 image samples as dataset. Compared with the original Faster R-CNN model, the experimental results (AP) of the improved model in this paper increased from 96.3% to 98.9%, which effectively reduced the fault detection and missed detection and improved the accuracy of location.. © 2021 Association for Computing Machinery. Multi-Agent Coverage control in Non-Convex Annulus Region with Conformal Mapping

Efficiently fulfilling coverage tasks in non-convex regions has long been a significant challenge for multi-agent systems (MASs). By leveraging conformal mapping, this paper introduces a novel sectorial coverage formulation to transform a non-convex annulus region into a topologically equivalent one. This approach enables the deployment of MASs in a non-star-shaped region while optimizing coverage performance and achieving load balance among sub-regions. It provides a unique perspective on the partitioned sub-regions to highlight the geodesic convex property of the non-star-shaped region. By utilizing the sectorial partition mechanism and the diffeomorphism property of conformal mapping, a decentralized control law is designed to drive MASs towards a desired configuration, which not only optimizes the global coverage cost but also ensures exponential convergence of equitable workload. Moreover, an iterative search algorithm is developed to identify the optimal approximation of multi-agent deployment in the non-star-shaped region. Theoretical analysis is conducted to confirm the asymptotic stability and global convergence with arbitrary small tolerance of the closed-loop system. Finally, numerical simulations demonstrate the practicality of the proposed coverage formulation with conformal mapping. Copyright © 2025, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The sccheduling for pushing plan during the coking process critically affects the efficiency and stability of production. However, the complexity with mutiple-stage during production makes it difficult to design an efficient coke pushing plan. To address this issue, this paper proposes a scheduling method based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm. Firstly, the fuzzy c-means clustering is utilized to categorize actual operating conditions as either normal or abnormal, thereby facilitating the scheduling of pushing plan under disparate conditions. Subsequently, the scheduling problem for the pushing plan is transformed into a traveling salesman problem, and scheduling models under various conditions are established. Finally, to accelerate the convergence and enhance the algorithm's global search capability, an adaptive inertia adjustment strategy is employed to dynamically regulate the velocity and position of particles. The proposed method has been implemented in the coking process. Through the analysis of application results, the completion coefficient of pushing plan has been increased by 4.25%, demonstrating that the proposed has advantages in scheduling the pushing plan during the actual coking process.

Accurately and promptly detecting the pipeline anomaly is crucial to the safe operation of pipeline systems, while a difficulty lies in that many existing methods require massive data for training models. However, pipelines are running under normal state for the most of the time, and labeled pipeline anomaly data is usually scarce. Among the commonly used sensors, vibration sensors are widely utilized in pipeline detection because of their advantages such as easy installation and high sensitivity. However, the vibration signal shows non-stationary characteristics when anomalies occur, and are contaminated by noises, making it difficult to represent the actual state with features extracted from either the time or frequency domain. Accordingly, this paper proposes a pipeline anomaly detection method based on the KPCA (kernel principal component analysis) and cosine distance prototypical network. First, features are extracted from original signals; then, the feature dimension is reduced by KPCA; last, the cosine distance is introduced to the prototypical network for anomaly detection. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by case studies involving experimental data.

Equivalent input disturbance-based load frequency control for smart grid with air conditioning loads

Integrating intermittent wind power into power systems results in low or zero inertia, threatening their frequency stability. To accommodate intermittent generations, the demand response(DR) is introduced, and air conditioning loads(ACs) account for an increasing proportion of all loads. The replacement of traditional generators with wind turbines and the ACs user uncertainties produce parameter uncertainties. This paper aims to construct an equivalent input disturbance(EID)-based load frequency control(LFC) strategy for the power system by considering wind power and ACs. First, an open-loop model is constructed for the LFC scheme with parameter uncertainties. Then, the parameter uncertainties and external disturbance are lumped into a fictitious disturbance, which is estimated using an EID *** incorporating the estimation of disturbance into the control input, the disturbance-rejection performance is achieved. Next, the Lyapunov theory is used to derive the two linear-matrix-inequality-based asymptotic stability criteria. A design algorithm is developed for the EID-based LFC scheme by exploiting an overall performance evaluation index. Finally, simulation results for the single-area and two-area LFC schemes show that, compared with the existing approaches, the method presented realizes the better disturbance rejection and higher robustness against parameter uncertainties, wind power fluctuation, and tie-line power ***, its robustness to time delays is verified.
