This paper addresses the problem of leader-following consensus in heterogeneous multi-agent systems (HMAS) with input saturation and communication delay. Given the practical differences between leader and follower dimensions, we design virtual leaders to address this problem by allowing actual leaders and followers to communicate with virtual leaders separately, thus enabling indirect communication between actual leaders and followers. Additionally, the control protocol proposed in this paper takes into account the effects of input saturation and time delay that exist in real communication. At last, a simulation example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed control protocol.

In recent years,cooperative coverage control of multi-agent system(MAS)has attracted plenty of researchers in various fields[1,2].Different from multi-agent consensus or synchronization,multi-agent coverage control cares about how to coordinate a team of agents for effectively monitoring or covering a given terrain,which inevitably gives rise to the interaction between individual dynamics and external ***,environmental uncertainties that include static uncertainties and dynamic uncertainties and limited sensing capabilities of a single agent make it a great challenge to design control algorithms of MAS for achieving the desired coverage performance.

In recent years, micromanipulator with dual end-effectors called microhand has been widely used in industrial and biological fields. Whether the tip positions of the two end-effectors of the microhand can be accurately aligned seriously affects the precise grasping of the microhand. However, few researchers have presented practical ways for precisely aligning the tip positions of a 6-DOF microhand’s two end- effectors. This paper proposes a novel, inexpensive, lightweight, robust, and easy-to-use microhand dual end-effectors clamping device that can precisely and quickly align the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. First, we describe the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device’s lightweight structural design. After that, we simplify the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device model and create a mathematical model to determine the relationship between the end-effectors’ tip position and the rotation angles of screw No.1, screw No.2, screw No.3 of the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device. Through experimentation, we are able to attain precise alignment of the two end-effectors tip positions of the 6-DOF microhand, so we confirm that our mathematical model is true. Finally, we use the impulse response of PZT in the microhand’s lower module to confirm the stability of the microhand dual end- effectors clamping device. We believe that the proposed the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device has great potential in industrial and biological applications as a universal tool for precise alignment of the tip positions of the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand.

Landslide is a common geological disaster. Landslide sensitivity mapping (LSM) is the key technology for landslide monitoring, early warning and risk assessment. Deep learning shows good performance in feature extraction. This paper proposes a one-dimensional residual convolution neural network (1DRCNN), which takes Yunyang County, Chongqing City, China, located in the Three Gorges Reservoir area as the research area. Extracting 12 evaluation factors from multi-source remote sensing data and building a training set. The spatial probability of landslide occurrence is quantitatively predicted by the proposed model, and finally, the landslide sensitivity mapping is generated. Compared with the common machine learning models SVM and logistic regression, the results show that the AUC (area under curve) and accuracy of 1D-RCNN are 0.9860 and 93.38%, respectively, which proving that this method is effective and can provide a reference for disaster prevention and reduction. © 2022 IEEE.

The advancement of millimeter-wave communication technology heralds new sensing capabilities. By leveraging channel multipath parameter estimates, we can harness simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) for precise user equipment (UE) localization and radio map construction in 6 G communication systems. Particularly in multi-UE scenarios, SLAM empowers base stations to amalgamate the local radio maps of various UEs efficiently. This study introduces a novel Bayesian framework specifically designed for multi-UE SLAM, complemented by a tailored factor graph. We also unveil a two-stage multi-UE SLAM algorithm. Our simulation results reveal that this algorithm substantially enhances radio map construction accuracy by $\mathbf{4 8. 5 \%}$ and UE localization accuracy by $13.5 \%$, outperforming single-UE cases. Moreover, the algorithm demonstrates remarkable adaptability to environmental changes, showcasing its potential for long-term evolution in dynamic settings.

Steel grabbing robot, which is a breed of robotic excavator driven by hydraulic system, has been manipulated by industrial workers to grab scrap steel for many years. In order to solve equipment loss and operational problems due to nonstandard manual operations and unsystematic managements during the grabbing process, this paper designs an automatic steel grabbing robot system, which consists of grabbing robot prototype’s hardware architecture, forward and reverse kinematics analysis and trajectory planning of joint-space schemes and Cartesian-space schemes for actual application scenarios. Moreover, Simulations are carried out using MATLAB, which demonstrate the correctness and efficiency of the system.

Dynamic multi-person mesh recovery has been a hot topic in 3D vision recently. However, few works focus on the multi-person motion capture from uncalibrated cameras, which mainly faces two challenges: the one is that inter-person interactions and occlusions introduce inherent ambiguities for both camera calibration and motion capture; The other is that a lack of dense correspondences can be used to constrain sparse camera geometries in a dynamic multi-person scene. Our key idea is incorporating motion prior knowledge into simultaneous optimization of extrinsic camera parameters and human meshes from noisy human semantics. First, we introduce a physics-geometry consistency to reduce the low and high frequency noises of the detected human semantics. Then a novel latent motion prior is proposed to simultaneously optimize extrinsic camera parameters and coherent human motions from slightly noisy inputs. Experimental results show that accurate camera parameters and human motions can be obtained through one-stage optimization. The codes will be publicly available at https://***.

With the rapid development of agricultural modernisation, fruit picking is becoming more and more automatic. The detection of fruit target by machine vision technology is the key to realise fruit automatic picking. In recent years, with the development of deep learning technology, target detection algorithm based on deep learning has gradually become a hot research topic, and the detection accuracy has been greatly improved. However, the shape and size of fruits in natural environment are different, and the light intensity changes at any time, which affects the detection accuracy to a certain extent. In this paper, aiming at the problem of fruit detection and location in natural environment, based on Fast R-CNN target detection model, a fruit detection and location method combining image processing and deep learning is proposed. The experimental results show that the combination of image processing and deep learning can achieve high detection accuracy and speed. Copyright © 2021 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

In the long-Term observation of geomagnetic field, the levelness of coil vector magnetometer will affect the measurement of magnetic direction. Therefore, we propose an electrical detection method of instrument non-levelness, which realizes the quantitative calculation of non-levelness by measuring the maximum and minimum values of the resultant magnetic field during detection. Then, a horizontal error model of coil vector magnetometer is constructed, and the mapping from instrument non-levelness to declination measurement error can be realized by vector operation. The results show that when the non-levelness of the instrument is less than 10", the measurement of magnetic declination variation deviates from the real value by 3.4%;When the non-levelness of the instrument is less than 20", the measurement of magnetic declination variation deviates from the real value by 13.5%. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. In the analysis of regional landslide susceptibility, the geological data used usually have the characteristics of multiplicity and nonlinearity. At the same time, in the past researches, the selection of non-landslide units in the training set is usually random or subjective, and there is no guarantee sample accuracy. In this paper, the deep forest algorithm combined with the twice-sample method is used to evaluate the landslide susceptibility in the Zigui Badong area of the Three Gorges Reservoir area. First, 11 landslide impact factors were selected according to the geological data to initially construct a sample set, and the cleaned data set was obtained by twice-sample. After dividing the training set and the test set, the deep forest model was used to predict the landslide susceptibility and evaluate the accuracy. The results show that the AUC of the susceptibility prediction model built using the deep forest is 1%-10% higher than that of GBDT, MLP and other methods, while the Twice-Sample method improves the AUC by 2%. © 2022 IEEE.
