Nonlinear system identification is one of the most important topics all over the word. Until now, there are many of off-line identification methods which exhibit well performance. The online approach with non-Gaussian noise, however, is still a challenge. For a class of nonlinear systems where all of the candidate parameters are contained in a definite parameter set, an online parameters and sates estimation method is proposed based on particle filter and Bayes theorem as the following steps. Firstly, regarding all of the candidates, the states are estimated by particle filter(PF) algorithm. Secondly the posterior probabilities of all of candidates are calculated according to the Bayes theorem;then the weights of all of the candidates are obtained through normalization. Lastly, the parameters and sates are estimated ultimately according to the weighted sum of all of the candidates and states. Numerical illustrations are presented to exhibit the application of the method proposed herein, and the performance of the method is examined.

This paper addresses stability problem for a class of networked controlsystems (NCSs) with network attacks. As a network attack to controlsystems, denial-of-service attacks are fully taken into account in the NCSs modelling. Under the scenario that there exist denial-of-service attacks in the communication channel, a closed-loop system with an error function is provided for the studied NCSs, where the denial-of-service attacks are well considered. Then based on the above constructed system model, one sufficient condition is derived for ensuring the uniformly ultimately boundedness of the derived system under consideration, and the upper bound of the maximum allowable number of denial-of-service attack is obtained. Moreover, the celebrated time-delay system technology method is introduced to improve the result of the upper bound of the maximum allowable number of denial-of-service attack. Finally, one numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Internet inquiry is playing an increasingly important role as the complement of the traditional medical service system, especially the similar cases recommendation. It can not only save the patients' waiting time, but also make use of the historical resources, for many cases with the same purpose have been solved perfectly. However, because of the diversity and non-standard of the patients' descriptions, the inquiry platform cannot find the cases with similar semantic easily. Most traditional retrieval methods require the overlap of two sentences, and this is not suitable with the diversity and non-standard descriptions. In this paper, we try to utilize the sentences' semantic representation in a continuous space to understand the cases, and then recommend the similar cases. We also incorporate it into query likelihood language models, trying to get better results. Our experimental data are all collected from a real internet inquiry platform, and the results show that our methods significantly outperform the state-of-the-art translation based methods for similar cases recommendation.

Disrupting the circadian rhythms will cause health problems such as sleep disorders, memory disorders and obesity. Finding the suitable external stimulation to synchronize a model with a desired phase is a biologically significant issue. The phase control of circadian rhythms for Drosophila is considered from control engineering viewpoint in this paper. If all parameters of the model are known, we can use the feedback linearization to design a tracking controller for the phase ***, in practice, parameters uncertainties always exist. To deal with this problem, a slide-mode controller is proposed for the phase tracking control of circadian rhythms. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper studies the distributed filtering problem of sensor networks, where a set of heterogeneous sensing nodes is required to estimate the state of a linear discrete-time dynamic system in a collaborative manner. Due to limited sensing range and communication constraints, just part of sensors can get observations of the process and a consensus based sub-optimal filtering algorithm is designed. The convergence properties of the estimation error covariance is further studied, and a necessary and sufficient convergence condition is provided based on LMIs. This condition shows that the convergence of the algorithm requires the target node in the extended topology of network is globally reachable and each sensing node is observable to the process. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the results.
