The spiral flow gas-liquid mixed transport pump experiences gas phase accumulation in the impeller flow passage, leading to blockage and a decrease in pumping performance. To understand the rules and mechanisms of gas phase aggregation in the spiral flow gas-liquid mixed transport pump, numerical calculations based on the Eulerian multiphase flow model and SST k - ω turbulent flow model were conducted. The effects of different gas volume fractions, speeds, and liquid phase viscosities on the pump were explored, and the external characteristics, flow characteristics, and gas phase aggregation processes in the impeller were analysed for these three variables. The results indicate that the head and efficiency of the pump gradually decrease with increasing gas volume fraction and liquid phase viscosity, while they increase with increasing speed. When the liquid phase viscosity changes from pure water to 50 times its viscosity, the gas phase aggregation at the impeller outlet decreases, resulting in reduced pressure and a smaller vortex region. The relative gas phase aggregation degree λ decreases from 0.5 to almost 0. When the gas volume fraction increases from 20% to 60%, the gas phase aggregation at the impeller outlet increases, the pressure difference between the impeller hub and the rim increases, and the vortex region expands, leading to an increase in λ by 8 times. When the speed increases from 3000 rpm to 5000 rpm, the gas phase aggregation at the impeller outlet increases, the pressure increases, and the vortex region expands, resulting in a 16-fold increase in λ . © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. Utilizing high-resolution antenna arrays and wide bandwidth of the millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum in 5G new radio (NR) mmWave communication systems holds the potential for high-throughput data transmission while enabling user localization and environmental mapping. However, the majority of existing simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithms rely on methods akin to the extended Kalman filter for generating initial map features. These methods prove ineffective when the measurement dimension is insufficient. Furthermore, there is a notable absence of research exploring mmWave prototype systems to evaluate and compare the performance and viability of various SLAM algorithms. To address these challenges, we propose an innovative probability hypothesis density (PHD) generation scheme for birth events and have developed a prototype system. Our approach, referred to as PHD-SLAM, exhibits remarkable effectiveness even in scenarios where the measurement dimension falls short of map features. This means it can function seamlessly with only delay or angle information available. Additionally, we have designed a 28GHz mmWave beam scanning prototype system that leverages the 5G NR frame for accomplishing SLAM algorithms. Following this, we conducted extensive simulations and experimental evaluations to gauge the performance of several leading-edge SLAM algorithms under diverse mmWave circumstances, encompassing PHD-based and belief propagation (BP) SLAM algorithms. Our analysis reveals that both PHD and BP SLAM can achieve agent localization precision within a decimeter and mapping precision within a meter, capitalizing on the angle parameters of mmWave signals. While BP SLAM showcases reduced computational demand, its estimation precision is marginally inferior to that of PHD-SLAM. © 2014 IEEE.

In recent years, intelligent connected vehicles (ICVs) have developed quickly and have been progressively introduced into the international market. Nevertheless, the operation of ICVs produces a large amount of important data coming from driving vehicle and necessitating cross-border transit. As the imperfections of the regulatory framework and the infancy of protective solutions for the ICV data, these data are vulnerable to the threats like eavesdropping and tampering during cross-border transmission. The private information, especially the data barred from leaving the country, will be probably leaked to other nations, endangering individual privacy and national security. Thus, the purpose of this manuscript is to analyze the security risks of cross-border data in ICVs and provide risk mitigation strategies. The legal requirements and pertinent cross-border materials need to be sorted out firstly to establish a thorough technical process for cross-border compliance of ICV data. Additionally, the ICV data risk analyses will be performed at every stage of the cross-border process. Furthermore, some efficient risk mitigation methods need to be offered to improve the security and dependability of the across-border data of ICVs. To address the problems associated with cross-border data pertaining to ICVs, a classification method for the cross-border data of ICVs will be presented according to current rules and data categorization schemes. Finally, this manuscript provides theoretical underpinnings and useful references for building a cross-border data security protection system, as well as a thorough analysis of the development patterns of cutting-edge technologies for cross-border data. © 2024 IEEE.

The security of data generated by vehicles during operation is critically important, especially as the number of intelligent and connected vehicle users continues to rise, leading to the rapid increase of automobile communication data. In response, researchers have employed GAN s to address data security challenges within this domain, achieving significant outcomes. This paper primarily focuses on personal information identification, data desensitization, and secure transmission of data within the framework of automobile data security. The latest research on GAN s is reviewed and analyzed to assess the feasibility, strengths, and limitations for automotive data security, and the insights into future development recommendations are also provided in this domain. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper introduces a Koopman bilinear model predictive control (KBMPC) as a local planner for smart wheelchair systems. This approach leverages the Koopman Operator to streamline the nonlinear terms in MPC, aiming to achieve superior real-time performance. In particular, we employ the Extended Dynamic Mode Decomposition (EDMD) method to approximate the infinite dimensional Koopman operator. To tackle the challenge of designing lifting functions, we systematically utilize the derivatives of known nonlinear structures to methodically derive lifting functions. This systematic approach facilitates the identification of a precise bilinear model. Next, we formulate the corresponding Koopman bilinear MPC problem. Finally, an iterative algorithm is employed to efficiently solve the KBMPC problem. This method linearizes the bilinear model around estimations and iteratively solves the resulting quadratic programming problem to refine estimations. This allows KBMPC to function as a real-time local planner for smart wheelchairs. The prediction of nonlinear terms shows that the identified Koopman bilinear model increases the prediction accuracy. Furthermore, experiments demonstrate the advantages of the designed KBMPC local planner, highlighting its superior real-time performance and predictive capabilities. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, micromanipulator with dual end-effectors called microhand has been widely used in industrial and biological fields. Whether the tip positions of the two end-effectors of the microhand can be accurately aligned seriously affects the precise grasping of the microhand. However, few researchers have presented practical ways for precisely aligning the tip positions of a 6-DOF microhand's two end- effectors. This paper proposes a novel, inexpensive, lightweight, robust, and easy-to-use microhand dual end-effectors clamping device that can precisely and quickly align the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. First, we describe the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device's lightweight structural design. After that, we simplify the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device model and create a mathematical model to determine the relationship between the end-effectors' tip position and the rotation angles of screw No.1, screw No.2, screw No.3 of the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device. Through experimentation, we are able to attain precise alignment of the two end-effectors tip positions of the 6-DOF microhand, so we confirm that our mathematical model is true. Finally, we use the impulse response of PZT in the microhand's lower module to confirm the stability of the microhand dual end- effectors clamping device. We believe that the proposed the microhand dual end-effectors clamping device has great potential in industrial and biological applications as a universal tool for precise alignment of the tip positions of the two end-effectors of a 6-DOF microhand. © 2024 IEEE.

Secure output synchronization of heterogeneous multi-agent systems against false data injection attacks

This paper studies secure output synchronization for heterogeneous multi-agent systems against false data injection(FDI) attacks. Both the sensors and actuators of agents may be injected into FDI *** mitigate the malicious impact of these attacks on synchronization performance, a desired reference model,which is combined with an auxiliary system, is first designed for each agent to simulate its normal system dynamics. Then, based on this reference model, a state feedback cooperative controller and a static output feedback cooperative controller, which consist of adaptive compensators, are proposed, respectively. The integrated control protocols can ensure that the output synchronization error is small by adjusting some designed parameters even in the presence of FDI attacks. An illustrative example is employed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

With the pervasive integration of artificial intelligence into all aspects of human life, talent emerges as a primary resource. Upon analysing the current state of talent training in higher education institutions, issues such as dispersed knowledge points, overlapping content, a singular practice approach and ineffective evaluation have been identified. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes a multidisciplinary and comprehensive practical teaching methodology grounded in the knowledge graph framework. It delves into diverse paths for practical teaching and assessment, including aspects like teaching objectives, problem decomposition, resource integration, implementation methods and performance evaluation. The practical application of the SSD algorithm in researching service robot indoor object detection serves as an illustrative example. Employing the holistic practical teaching approach facilitated by the knowledge graph, this model guides students in acquiring object detection expertise, thereby enhancing their comprehensive development. High-frequency time-series data such as vibration signals will consume a lot of communication resources and require very high network bandwidth. Reducing the amount of data transmission while ensuring its availability is particularly important and challenging in high-frequency scenarios. Dual prediction scheme (DPS) can significantly reduce the amount of data transmission while ensuring data accuracy. However, traditional DPS cannot be applied to high-frequency scenarios due to the limitation of the mechanism design and model inference speed. We propose a novel long sequence DPS to efficiently reduce the volume of high-frequency data transmission in real time. To overcome the accuracy degradation due to gradient vanishing in long sequence prediction, we also propose an attention-based prediction model. Furthermore, we propose Informer to reduce the model’s computational complexity and enable fast inference and deployment on resource-constrained edge gateways. Experiments based on the real-world dataset show that the proposed scheme can efficiently cope with high-frequency data, reduce its transmission volume, and ensure data accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.
