We present a simple method to synthesize Pb(OH)2 nanorods by solution-phase reaction. Rod-like lead hydroxide precipitates are obtained by mixing lead nitrate with a concentration of about 0.01 M and potassium hydroxide with concentration of about O.03 M in an aqueous solution. Sodium chloride as an additive is premixed with the lead nitrate aqueous solution. The presence of chloride ions in the precursor solution results in the rod-like morphology of lead hydroxide precipitates. The growth mechanism of the lead hydroxide nanorods is discussed.

The existed algorithms for global collision checking in freeform surfaces machining have been analyzed, and a new efficient algorithm is proposed for collision checking in NC machining of freeform surfaces. First, an oblique cube convex hull of the freeform surface is applied to check whether there is intersection between the tool orientation and the oblique cube convex hull. If there is no intersection, it means the tool orientation is feasible. Otherwise, the detailed feasibility checking is developed to detect whether there is a global collision between the freeform surface and the tool orientation. Once there is collision, the tool orientation will be adjusted to avoid the global collision.

An adaptive integral dynamic surface control approach based on fully tuned radial basis function neural network (FTRBFNN) is presented for a general class of strict-feedback nonlinear systems,which may possess a wide class of uncertainties that are not linearly parameterized and do not have any prior knowledge of the bounding *** is employed to approximate the uncertainty online,and a systematic framework for adaptive controller design is given by dynamic surface control. A new accurate phase-shifting error compensating algorithm for phase-measuring profilometry is proposed and proved. In this error detecting algorithm, we use three adjacent phase points for research object, approximately suppose that the sinusoidal fringe projection to the plate, the phase differences between adjacent pixels are equal. Then we put the phase shift error into the original algorithm for error compensation. Simulation results show the inhibitory effect of the errors after using the new algorithm for error compensation. Lastly we use the new algorithm for three-dimensional reconstruction of physical measurement. The final effect image shows obviously that the new compensation algorithm is better than the original. So this error extracting algorithm can effectively improve the accuracy of three-dimensional measurement.

In this paper a novel 3D shape measurement technique based on color fringe projection is proposed to solve the spectrum aliasing and phase unwrapping issues existed in Fourier transform profilometry. Set the RG components of the color fringe to two different frequencies of sinusoidal pattern and the B component to the average value of R or G component. Then project the pattern to the object. Separate these RGB components of the captured color pattern and use our method to process these three gray patterns. By using the proposed method, the background and high frequency noises can be eliminated during FTP process, also the accurate unwrapped phase which contains the height information can be got by using two frequencies of wrapped phase to unwrap the phase. Only one frame color pattern is needed to get the 3D information of an object. Experiment results show that the 3D information of an object can be obtained rapidly and accurately using the proposed method. And also the object can be measured dynamically.

A stereo reconstruction algorithm is proposed, which combines techniques of local edge detection, stereo matching and binocular vision. Firstly, the left and right images of the object are taken by calibrated binocular cameras. Then, in rectified matching images, the closed local edge is formed surrounding each pixel by Prewitt edge operator in order to construct an adaptive window, in which cost aggregation is calculated by normalized cross-correlation-coefficient. Next, local winner-take-all optimization is used to obtain disparity, and image smoothing technique is introduced to reduce matching errors. Finally, points cloud of the object is produced based on calibration information of binocular cameras and results of stereo matching. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can overcome impacts of real environment on reconstruction system and successfully achieves smooth and vivid 3D points cloud models of different real objects with high automation degree.

This paper presents a local stereo matching algorithm based on the window construction method using local edge detection. In order to improve performance of window-based cost aggregation computation, a new rule called Dissimilar Intensity Support technique is proposed to distinguish support pixels with dissimilar intensities from those with similar intensity for each centered pixel. According to the proposed rule, support pixels away from centered pixel with dissimilar intensities are used to compute cost aggregation for enhancing intensity variation in local support region. Initial disparity is obtained by classical Winner-Take-All method. Then disparity refinement based on pixels near center with similar intensity as well as smooth disparity is introduced to rectify mismatch. The experimental results based on Middlebury stereo benchmark show that the proposed algorithm has good performance especially in low textured region with only few parameters.
