Capsule network is an innovative deep learning-based model that uses neuron vectors as inputs and outputs of the network. It can achieve independent output of multiple classification labels, and solve the problem of decoupling recognition of compound fault components in planetary gearboxes. However, the single-scale feature extraction cannot fully explore multi-scale feature information in compound fault signals. This study proposes a capsule network combined with multi-scale convolutional feature fusion to diagnose the compound fault of planetary gearbox. The multi-scale features are extracted from STFT images of vibration signals using convolutional layers with different kernel sizes;secondly, a capsule network is designed to classify and identify the fault components by using the dynamic routing algorithm. The experiments are conducted to assess the performance of the proposed method, and the results indicates that it can effectively decoupling identify the compound faults with strong anti-interference and stability. © 2024 IEEE.

The memory circuit is an important part of the composition of digital systems. Due to the composition of the memory structure, the memory can not only realize the function of storage but also can realize the combinational logic circuits, code conversion circuits, function generators, DDS signal source, etc., but the premise is that you need to write the data into the ROM/RAM first. Hence, the design of the ROM/RAM read/write circuits is especially critical. This paper carries out the design of memory read/write circuits and simulates the read/write circuits of 2K8RAM, based on which the schematic design of ROM/RAM constituting combinational logic circuits, code conversion circuits, and function generators is realized.

Numerical modeling of droplets injection in the secondary flow of the wet steam ejector in the refrigeration cycle

Steam ejector plays a key role in the refrigeration system. The water has been used as a working fluid because water is more economical and non-toxic. The operating fluid often enters the evaporator as a water liquid and droplets evaporate by absorbing heat. Cooling load changing causes the vapor in the outlet of the evaporator to be accompanied by droplets. Therefore, there are droplets at the inlet of secondary nozzle and flow should be simulated as a wet steam flow with injection droplets at the secondary flow. In this paper, the effects of droplets injection at secondary flow have been investigated on the performance of the refrigeration cycle. For this purpose, the Eulerian-Eulerian method has been used and the results have been validated with experimental data. Six cases are considered with different wetness and number of droplets in the secondary flow. The results of case 6 show COP, T-outlet, and ER decrease about 22.93%, 15.66%, and 22.93%, respectively. In addition, the steam accompanies by droplets at the outlet of ejector. Therefore, it is essential for designers and operators to model and consider the effects of the droplets on the wall erosion to optimize the wet steam ejector and refrigeration cycle performance.

We propose combining energy storage control with pitch control of wind turbines to give wind farms a primary frequency regulation capability similar to thermal power units. Using chance-constrained programming to handle the relationship between reliability and operating cost, and considering the full life-cycle cost of energy storage, we establish a chance-constrained programming model with the objective of minimizing the wind-storage joint frequency regulation operating cost. This achieves a trade-off between operating cost and reliability of the wind-storage frequency regulation system. We use the ant-lion algorithm to solve the model and obtain the optimal configuration of energy storage power and capacity for the wind farm, and compare the optimization results of the ant-lion algorithm with those of the particle swarm algorithm and the genetic algorithm. A case study is presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper derives an efficient control algorithm to deal with the output voltage tracking control problem of threephase inverters with multiple disturbances (including parametric perturbations of filter, abrupt disturbances caused by load switching and harmonic disturbances brought by unbalanced loads and nonlinear loads). This accomplishment is realized through the long prediction horizon finite-control-set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) and the integration of a composite disturbance observer (CDO) and a disturbance preview model into the sphere decoding algorithm (SDA). This integration facilitates the estimation and prediction of future disturbance behaviors within the inverter system, which addresses the poor disturbance-rejection limitations inherent in conventional SDA approaches employed in previous studies. The algorithm also improves the dynamic performances of the output voltage. Simulations studies are illustrated to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm. Based on the presented results, the algorithm achieves good disturbance rejection capability and maintains small tracking error. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

The harmful exhaust emissions of fuel vehicles in theworld are damaging to human health and the environment, thus detecting smoky vehicles from real road environment is significant. At present, methods of smoky vehicle detection based on deep learning have the problem of high false-positive rate. To improve the performance, a two-stage video smoky vehicle detection algorithm based on the smoke classification in the core region from detected vehicle object boxes is proposed in this paper. Specifically, the vehicle object detection is realized by the algorithm based on YOLOv3. The smoke classification is realized by combining Vision Transformer and distillation, and the loss function is optimized in the training process. Experimental results on our smoky vehicle dataset have shown that the improved model achieves an F1 score over 0.4, precision over 0.4, recall nearly 0.1 improvement compared with the basic model, which can effectively reduce the false-positive rate during detection.. © 2021 Association for Computing Machinery. This paper considers the formation encirclement problem of multi-agent systems with collision avoidance, where the enclosing orbit is an ellipse, the target and the formation are dynamic. The novel rewards, that is the elliptical encirclement reward, the formation reward, the angular velocity reward and collision avoidance reward are designed and a reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm, that is multi-agent deep deterministic policy gradient (MADDPG), is designed based on the novel setting of rewards. To achieve effective deployment of the facial expression recognition(FER) system on marginalized devices,we designed a lightweight neural network based on ShufflenetV2,which can balance the relationship between the number of network parameters and the accuracy of *** this paper,a non-parameter SimAM attention module that can extract 3 D features is employed in the ShufflenetV2 network to enhance the spatial features extraction ability of the network,and the shortcut branch is introduced in Bottleneck for information interaction and feature fusion between *** tests were carried out on the RaFD dataset,and the recognition accuracy reaches 98.04%,while the number of model parameters is only 1.4 M.

Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) plays a vital role in ensuring port safety and efficiency by augmenting accurate, robust, and real-time perception. SLAM has been widely applied in automated guided vehicles in ports, there is still limited exploration into rubber tire gantry (RTG) crane applications. To address this gap, this paper introduces a robust SLAM framework for RTGs, leveraging a tightly coupled Iterated Error-State Kalman Filter to integrate multiple solid-state LiDARs with IMU and encoder measurements. The proposed approach, mainly encompassing preprocessing for sensor synchronization and a novel feature point based on LiDAR point cloud intensity, can significantly enhance system robustness. During prediction, the IMU first infers the system's state and de-skews the LiDAR point cloud with an initial estimate, which is then optimized using LiDAR observations in the update stage. Tested on extensive self-collected port datasets against the SOTA FAST-LIO2, the proposed method achieves considerable accuracy and robustness in RTG applications. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
