Accurate vehicle localization is a key technology for autonomous driving tasks in indoor parking lots,such as automated valet ***,infrastructure-based cooperative driving systems have become a means to realizing intelligent *** this paper,we propose a novel and practical vehicle localization system using infrastructure-based RGB-D cameras for indoor parking *** the proposed system,we design a depth data preprocessing method with both simplicity and efficiency to reduce the computational burden resulting from a large amount of ***,the hardware synchronization for all cameras in the sensor network is not implemented owing to the disadvantage that it is extremely cumbersome and would significantly reduce the scalability of our system in mass ***,to address the problem of data distortion accompanying vehicle motion,we propose a vehicle localization method by performing template point cloud registration in distributed depth ***,a complete hardware system was built to verify the feasibility of our solution in a real-world *** in an indoor parking lot demonstrated the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed vehicle localization system,with a maximum root mean squared error of 5 cm at 15Hz compared with the ground truth.

Robotic surface consisting of many actuators can change shape to perform tasks, such as facilitating human-machine interactions and transporting objects. Increasing the number of actuators can enhance the robot's capacity, but controlling them requires communication bandwidth to increase equally in order to avoid time delays. We propose a novel control method that has constant time delays no matter how many actuators are in the robot. Having a distributed nature, the method first approximates target shapes, then broadcasts the approximation coefficients to the actuators, and relies on themselves to compute the inputs. We build a robotic pin array and measure the time delay as a function of the number of actuators to confirm the system size-independent scaling behavior. The shape-changing ability is achieved based on function approximation algorithms, i.e. discrete cosine transform or matching pursuit. We perform experiments to approximate target shapes and make quantitative comparison with those obtained from standard sequential control method. A good agreement between the experiments and theoretical predictions is achieved, and our method is more efficient in the sense that it requires less control messages to generate shapes with the same accuracy. This study develops a simple real-time algorithm inferring the relative distance between containers stacked in operational yards and spreaders of Rubber Tire Gantry (RTG) in support of fully automated RTG operations in ports. The proposed scheme is based on SOLOv2 instance segmentation network with image captured by camera mounted on RTG driver's cab. Specifically, distance calculation is achieved by containers' surface recognition via instance segmentation and geometric information pertaining to the containers. To meet the dual demands of accuracy and reduced resource consumption, the original backbone network of SOLOv2, namely resnet18, is replaced by GhostNet. This substitution enables the extraction of multi-level feature maps for fusion, significantly reducing network complexity without sacrificing accuracy. The proposed algorithm is validated by comparative experiments on a self-curated real-life dataset, demonstrating a remarkable reduction of 91.6% in FLOPS and 55.7% in Params for the improved SOLOv2 framework. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

This paper investigates the optimal tracking performance (OTP) of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) discrete networked control systems (NCSs) under the influence of Denial of Service (DoS) attack, channel noise, and bandwidth constraints. The channel noise is assumed to be additive Gaussian white noise (AWGN). Due to the randomness of DoS attack, a Bernoulli distribution is used for DoS modeling. Utilizing frequency domain analysis methods, coprime factorization, all-pass decomposition, and Youla parameterization, an explicit expression for the optimal tracking performance (OTP) of the system under the two-degree-of-freedom (TDOF) controller is derived. The analysis indicates that non-minimum phase (NMP) zeros, unstable poles (UPs), DoS attack, and network constraints affect the OTP of NCSs. Finally, the theoretical results are validated through simulations of MIMO NCS and vehicle control system. © 2024 IEEE.

Energy storage system is generally used to ensure the stability and reliability of *** the system generally contains multiple energy storage units,and due to the process,material and other aspects of the limitation,the initial state of charge(SOC) of each energy storage unit cannot be guaranteed to be completely equal,which leads to the shortening of the life of energy storage unit,and affect the economic benefits of energy storage system ***,this paper analyzes the influence conditions between energy storage units according to the calculated formula of energy storage unit *** value of charge between energy storage systems is analyzed through the active power output of the system,and then the difference is obtained by comparing the value of charge of each energy storage unit with the average value of charge of each *** the iterative algorithm is used to update the state of each node,and the balance factor is introduced to gradually reduce the difference on the basis of droop control to optimize and control the output of these energy storage nodes to achieve SOC *** the economic benefits such as maintenance cost of energy storage system are ***,a working model of microgrid is established and the feasibility and economy of this method are verified by simulation.

A stable track components segmentation model should have consistent performance across a broad spectrum of railroad conditions, particularly in unfamiliar locations. Despite this, satisfying this requirement proves challenging when working with a limited track dataset, as there is a substantial domain shift between the given dataset and unobserved distributions. The goal of this paper is to improve the generalization ability of track component segmentation in situations where single-domain training data is available. Toward this end, a novel track component instance segmentation method combining the geometric context is proposed. First, we design an initial mask prediction head (IMPH) that utilizes predicted box output from the object detector to generate initial masks by merging the geometric priors of track components. Meanwhile, a multiscale feature fusion structure is introduced to encourage IMPH to better capture the geometric context. Then, a final mask refinement head (FMRH) is introduced to get higher quality masks with a geometry-gated aggregation strategy. On the basis of experiments on track datasets, it was determined that the heads can be incorporated with several types of detection frameworks and have demonstrated consistent generalization enhancements across multiple object detectors. Furthermore, our method substantially enhances segmentation performance on various unobserved domains.
