This paper presents a smooth and time-optimal improved-Bezier trajectory planning algorithm that addresses the avoidance of solving switching points and solves the problem of discontinuous torque on the basis of the time-optimal path parameterization(TOPP) algorithm. The proposed approach employs the TOPP-RA algorithm with a friction model, to construct the optimal velocity trajectory under the constraints of the geometric paths and joint torques. Moreover, the proposed algorithm utilizes an enhanced Bezier curve instead of the jerk constraint in the trajectory optimization model to achieve a smooth trajectory. The modified Bezier curve optimizes the peaks of the pseudo-velocity curve in the phase plane to change the discontinuity of joint torque. The proposed algorithm ensures absolute time optimality and achieve a s mooth tr ajectory. The results of the MATLAB simulation experiment on a two-link motion system indicate the validity of the proposed algorithm.

To enhance the estimation accuracy and dynamic performance of sensorless surface-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drives, a sensorless control scheme based on generalized super-twisting observer (GSTO) and non-smooth controller is proposed. Firstly, a GSTO for back electromotive force (back-EMF) estimation is proposed. Compared with the conventional super-twisting observer, the GSTO has a faster convergence rate and stronger robustness due to the additional terms. Then a linear extended state observer (LESO) is adopted to estimate the position, speed, and lumped disturbance at the same time. Moreover, a non-smooth composite speed controller is designed by combining the disturbance feed-forward compensation. Compared with the conventional PI speed controller, the non-smooth controller has a shorter settling time and a better disturbance rejection ability. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation results. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

End-to-end multi-task reinforcement learning-based UAV swarm communication attack detection and area coverage

This paper proposes an innovative end-to-end multi-task reinforcement learning framework designed to enhance the security and operational stability of UAVs in complex communication attacks environments. In scenarios involving multiple UAV coverage, the framework classifies attack types and predicts UAV behaviors, which enables rapid response and compromised data recovery. First, a spatiotemporal attention mechanism is employed to strengthen the network by capturing temporal dependencies in the communication data and improving the recognition of hybird attack mode, thereby facilitating the integration of detection and repair. Second, the causal inference mechanism introduced in this study extracts true causal relationships from interference, which ensures the accuracy and stability of action predictions for area coverage under attack conditions. Finally, the entire process is modeled as a multi-task Markov decision process, optimizing overall decision-making efficiency. Additionally, the dynamic pheromone induction mechanism is proposed to realize the adaptive regional cooperative coverage of multiple UAVs. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively detect hybrid attacks and predict UAV actions, protecting the multi-UAV cooperative area coverage. © 2025

This paper focuses on the design of an initialization-free distributed finite-time algorithm for the economic dispatch problem in smart grid, where the generation units only communicate with its neighbors to minimize the total cost cooperatively. Firstly, the optimal solution of the economic dispatch problem is analyzed in accordance with the saddle-point dynamics. Then, an initialization-free finite-time algorithm is presented to guarantee the active power generation and the incremental cost converge to the optimal solution in a distributed manner. Over the past century,ferroelectricity has offered exciting opportunities for fundamental research and device ***,most of the discovered excellent ferroelectrics are oxide materials with large band gaps,limiting their potential for optoelectronics *** using first-principles calculations we identify a new narrow-gap ferroelectric beyond oxides,i.e.,ferroelectric perovskite sulphide BaZrS_(3).Under large compressive strains,BaZrS_(3)can be stabilized into a unique supertetragonal phase with an extraordinary polarization of 67.16μC/cm^(2),which is even stronger than that of conventional oxide ***,the supertetragonal BaZrS_(3)exhibits a direct narrow band gap of 1.2 eV and excellent electronic *** on the chemical bonding analysis,we attribute the formation of supertetragonal phase to charge re-ordering in which theπbond overlap along the long〈Zr-S〉bond completely vanishes and the antibonding states of theσbond appear below the Fermi *** work provides a conceptual strategy for designing new ferroelectrics for electronic and photovoltaic applications.

During the past five years, Meng Chu’s professional leadership and dedication has transformed IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica(JAS) from its infancy to a young and high-impact publication in the world that is full of vitality and actively engaged by a group of talented and charged associate Ei Cs and editors, which is clearly demonstrated in Meng Chu’s farewell editorial [1]. I am very glad that Professor Qing-Long Han, an influential and leading scientist of the world-class in AI, control, automation, and intelligent science and technology from Australia, as well as a staunch supporter and great leader of this journal from its beginning, will take over the Ei C torch from Meng Chu next year, since I am extremely confident that our journal will reach a new high for its service and quality under his new leadership.

Wind power generations have received widespread concern recently, however, due to the continuity of time series, ordinary machine learning models cannot learn the dependencies of continuous time series data well. To better predict the time series and improve the prediction effect of wind power, a shortterm wind power prediction method based on K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) and Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU) is proposed. Firstly, KNN is used to detect outliers in the wind speed-power sequence in the field collected data, and then the wind speed value of all abnormal data is modified to the mean value of wind speed. Then the modified data is input to the bidirectional gated recurrent unit for prediction. The bidirectional gated recurrent unit can efficiently learn the context information of the data and improve the prediction effect. The experimental results show that the proposed prediction method based on KNN-BiGRU obtains a good prediction effect on a single unit. Compared with other methods, it has the best prediction effect on multi-unit where the accuracy rate is 8 4. 3 0 4 %. © 2024 IEEE.
