We report on the synthesis of Sr0.55-xLa0.45CaxCo0.3Fe10.9O19 by the ceramic method. Powder X-ray diffraction data of the samples show that the heterogeneous peaks in the spinel phase containing Co with Ca2+ substitution (0≤x≤0.10) gradually diminish. The lattice constants c decrease as the Ca2+ content increases. In addition, the lengths of Fe-O bonds at positions such as 2a, 2b and 4f2 in the crystal were shortened. Raman spectroscopy verified the occupancy of Co2+ in the presence of Ca2+. Magnetization measurements showed that Ms reached a maximum value of 77.85 emu/g when the Ca2+ content x=0.10. HA decreased from 32.20 kOe (x=0) to 27.60 kOe (x=0.20) and K1 obtained a maximum value of 6.50☓106 erg/cm3 at x=0.05. The results of the research on these samples are useful for low Fe content ions in place of M-type strontium ferrite is of great significance. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The changes in the physical phase, microscopic morphology and magnetic properties of the magnetic powders obtained at different calcination temperatures with different Fe and Ca contents were investigated. Strontium ferrite Sr0.55-yLa0.45CayCo0.3FexO19 (y=0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15;x=9.4, 9.9, 10.4, 10.9) was prepared by the solid-phase reaction method, and the calcination temperatures ranged from 1175°C to 1250°C during the experiments. It was found that when the calcination temperature was decreased, the magnetic powder particles became smaller, but the Fe2O3 heterogeneous phase appeared in the magnetic powder. And reducing the Fe content can eliminate the Fe2O3 heterogeneous phase, but it will lead to the increase of grain size. Adjusting the Ca content can ensure the constant Co content into the lattice, but it will also increase the grain size. Finally, by magnetic analysis, the calcination temperature was decreased from 1250°C to 1225°C, and the coercivity of the magnetic powder was increased by about 1000 Oe, and the saturation magnetization intensity did not change significantly. Therefore, it is inferred that the effect of decreasing the calcination temperature on improving the coercivity is greater than that of decreasing the iron content and increasing the calcium content on decreasing the coercivity. The coercivity Hc can be increased without changing the saturation magnetization strength Ms. Ultimately, the magnetic properties of La-Ca-Co substituted M-type strontium ferrite can be further improved by this method. © 2022, The Authors. Shared control schemes allow a human driver to work with an automated driving agent in driver-vehicle systems while retaining the driver’s abilities to control. The human driver, as an essential agent in the driver-vehicle shared control systems, should be precisely modeled regarding their cognitive processes, control strategies, and decision-making processes. The interactive strategy design between drivers and automated driving agents brings an excellent challenge for human-centric driver assistance systems due to the inherent characteristics of humans. Many open-ended questions arise, such as what proper role of human drivers should act in a shared control scheme? How to make an intelligent decision capable of balancing the benefits of agents in shared control systems? Due to the advent of these attentions and questions, it is desirable to present a survey on the decision-making between human drivers and highly automated vehicles, to understand their architectures, human driver modeling, and interaction strategies under the driver-vehicle shared schemes. Data-driven artificial intelligence technologies have made much progress in medical image analysis in the last decades. However, it still remains challenging due to its distinctive complexity of acquiring and annotating image data, extracting medical domain knowledge, and explaining the diagnostic decision for medical image analysis. In this paper, we propose a data-knowledge-driven framework termed as Parallel Medical Imaging (PMI) for intelligent medical image analysis based on the methodology of interactive ACP-based parallel intelligence. In the PMI framework, computational experiments with predictive learning in a data-driven way are conducted to extract medical knowledge for diagnostic decision support. Artificial imaging systems are introduced to select and prescriptively generate medical image data in a knowledge-driven way to utilize medical domain knowledge. Through the closed-loop optimization based on parallel execution, our proposed PMI framework can boost the generalization ability and alleviate the limitation of medical interpretation for diagnostic decisions. Furthermore, we illustrate the preliminary implementation of PMI method through the case studies of mammogram analysis and skin lesion image analysis. With the development of industrialized building and intelligence technology, it becomes necessary and possible to realize building process intelligence management. In recent years, digital twins and parallel management get more and more attentions in academic research and industrial applications. This paper addresses how parallel building system performs intelligence management on industrialized building process. Firstly, actual building model and artificial building model are created according to actual building system. Then business driving engine and simulation engine drive actual building model and artificial building model, respectively. Participants receive and send messages by software interfaces. Business driving engine changes the status of actual building model and sends the changes to simulation engine. Simulation engine updates the status of artificial building model and runs artificial building model with various parameters. Then it sends the parameter with the best effect to business driving engine. Business driving engine sends recommendations to participants according to the best parameter. Thus, building process intelligence management is achieved.

S4TP: Social-Suitable and Safety-Sensitive Trajectory Planning for Autonomous Vehicles

In public roads, autonomous vehicles (AVs) face the challenge of frequent interactions with human-driven vehicles (HDVs), which render uncertain driving behavior due to varying social characteristics among humans. To effectively assess the risks prevailing in the vicinity of AVs in social interactive traffic scenarios and achieve safe autonomous driving, this article proposes a social-suitable and safety-sensitive trajectory planning (S4TP) framework. Specifically, S4TP integrates the Social-Aware Trajectory Prediction (SATP) and Social-Aware Driving Risk Field (SADRF) modules. SATP utilizes Transformers to effectively encode the driving scene and incorporates an AV’s planned trajectory during the prediction decoding process. SADRF assesses the expected surrounding risk degrees during AVs-HDVs interactions, each with different social characteristics, visualized as two-dimensional heat maps centered on the AV. SADRF models the driving intentions of the surrounding HDVs and predicts trajectories based on the representation of vehicular interactions. S4TP employs an optimization-based approach for motion planning, utilizing the predicted HDVs’ trajectories as input. With the integration of SADRF, S4TP executes real-time online optimization of the planned trajectory of AV within low-risk regions, thus improving the safety and the interpretability of the planned trajectory. We have conducted comprehensive tests of the proposed method using the SMARTS simulator. Experimental results in complex social scenarios, such as unprotected left-turn intersections, merging, cruising, and overtaking, validate the superiority of our proposed S4TP in terms of safety and rationality. S4TP achieves a pass rate of 100% across all scenarios, surpassing the current state-of-the-art methods Fanta of 98.25% and Predictive-Decision of 94.75%. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Live-maintaining work is essential for continuous power supply to the substation. To improve the safety and efficiency of live-maintaining work, this paper proposes an equipotential live-maintaining robot system suitable for 110kV voltage levels. Considering the narrow space, complex working conditions and strong electromagnetic interference in substations, binocular vision technology, manipulator trajectory planning algorithm based on time-energy optimization, high voltage electromagnetic shielding technology are utilized to develop the system, and the live-maintaining robot is successfully applied in actual substation. By accurately identifying and locating the joint bolts and insulator, the robot system can achieve equipotential live-disassemble, live-assemble the joint bolts within 18 minutes and live-clean insulator within 5 minutes, demonstrating its the effectiveness and practicability. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Many real-world optimization problems exhibit dynamic characteristics, posing significant challenges for traditional optimization techniques. Evolutionary Dynamic Optimization Algorithms (EDOAs) are designed to address these challenges effectively. However, in existing literature, the reported results for a given EDOA can vary significantly. This inconsistency often arises because the source codes for many EDOAs, which are typically complex, have not been made publicly available, leading to error-prone re-implementations. To support researchers in conducting experiments and comparing their algorithms with various EDOAs, we have developed an open-source MATLAB platform called the Evolutionary Dynamic Optimization laboratory (EDOLAB). This platform not only facilitates research but also includes an educational module designed for instructional purposes. The education module allows users to observe: a) a 2-dimensional problem space and its morphological changes following each environmental change, b) the behaviors of individuals over time, and c) how the EDOA responds to environmental changes and tracks the moving optimum. Short message is one of the most common communication media for mobile subscribers, so major mobile operators are devoted to improve their Short Message Service (SMS). However, the annoying and undesired messages, also named message spam or simply spam, not only worsen the users' experience, but also cause their complaints on SMS. In this paper, we present a novel Chinese SMS spam filtering framework based on AdaBoost algorithm to provide accurate and effective short messages classification. Three content-based weak filters are introduced to boost the performance of final classification decision. Results from Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) analysis prove the proposed method has such advantages as higher efficiency and fewer parameters over those established SMS spam filtering methods. The application of the proposed method is expected to block the most spam for mobile subscribers and improve the service quality of SMS. With simple data processing and few training parameters, the proposed method can be applied into the practice of short text classification.
