This paper presents a novel quasi-fixed frequency based synchronous control scheme for the LCC resonant converter to suit the high frequency, low voltage and high current operating condition. Utilizing ZVS technique, the proposed method can guarantee the reliable load control ability and ensure the stable zero voltage by adjusting the frequency and the phase in the limited range. To show the effectiveness of the control algorithm, a LCC resonant converter with quasi fixed frequency (QFC) and phase modulation synchronous control is addressed in this paper. The LCC converter works in a continuous conduction mode near 700 kHz and implementing zero-voltage switching (ZVS) with 200-425 V input and 48 V/42 A output simultaneously, and it can suit the wide input/output range with high efficiency using the designed control scheme through the PSIM simulation results.

As a kind of distributed energy storage system, ice-storage air conditioning (IAC) system is an effective way for transferring cooling load. A parallel adaptive critic design method is constructed for solving the optimal control problem of IAC systems. Adaptive critic design is also called adaptive dynamic programming (ADP). The initial value function of the parallel ADP method is obtained by using particle swarm optimization (PSO) method to pre-train the weights of the neural networks. Another PSO algorithm is utilized in each iteration to achieve the target control, which avoids solving a nonlinear equation in traditional ADP algorithms. Finally, the efficiency of the parallel ADP algorithm will be illustrated through the experiment results.

A Probe into the Accuracy of Thermal Runaway Simulation Model of Lithium-ion Battery under Adiabatic Condition

For the safety problem of lithium-ion battery, thermal abuse early warning is needed to be established, for which the main point is to analyze the mechanism and to establish the thermal abuse model of single lithium-ion battery. This article used 10Ah ternary lithium-ion battery as the research object and used simulation software to build thermal abuse simulation model. The accuracy of simulation model was verified by comparing the temperature simulation result with temperature data from adiabatic environment thermal abuse experiment. According to the results, heating trend of temperature of the simulation under adiabatic condition is approximately the same as that of ARC adiabatic test temperature. Before the end stage of self-heating period, the error remains within 5%; at the end of self-heating stage, the error is around 5-10%; after entering thermal runaway stage, the error can reach 36%. Missing the equation of reactions between electrode and additive, and internal short-circuit is the main reason causing the error of the simulation result.

A variety of heterogeneous information is produced after the application of various emerging technologies in education, which is of great research value as educational assets. The traditional educational asset management system has emerged. In view of the disadvantages of traditional system centralization process, people begin to use decentralized blockchain technology for innovation. This paper proposes an educational digital asset management system architecture based on blockchain 3.0 technology system, which forms various data formed by students in and out of class learning process, courseware and experience data generated by teachers in the process of teaching into educational digital assets, and carries out the right confirmation and storage on the blockchain. The system can use a variety of heterogeneous data in digital assets to analyze the development status of school users, achieve the teaching purpose of teaching students according to their aptitude and different people.

In order to improve the multi-concurrent fault diagnosis of rotating machinery, a feature extraction method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and kernel independent component analysis (KICA) is proposed. First, use VMD to improve the dimension of single-channel vibration signal. Then, calculate the correlation coefficient between the signal of each dimension and the original signal. Finally, high correlation signals are used to form a new observation signal and the fault signals will be extracted by KICA. Compared with ensemble empirical mode decomposition (EEMD) + fast independent component analysis (FastICA), the better performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by an analysis of rolling bearing with the fault of inner ring and outer ring mixed. Furthermore, an experiment with the fault of outer ring of rolling bearing and gear breaking mixed verifies the effectiveness of this method. The result demonstrates that the proposed method is efficient for fault diagnosis of single-channel vibration signal of rotating machinery with multi-concurrent faults. © 2018 Hongchun Sun, et al.

In recent years, renewable energy represented by wind power and photovoltaic has developed rapidly in the world. China's renewable energy is the fastest-growing country in terms of wind power and photovoltaic power generation. 174 million kW, accounting for about 19% of total power capacity in China, renewable energy has become the second largest power source. In some province-level regional power grids with high renewable energy penetration rates, such as Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia, the total installed capacity of renewable energy and power sources accounted for 41.4%, 36.5%, 32.2%, 30.1%, and 28.8%, respectively. According to the 2015 report of the National Development and Reform Commission's Energy Research Institute, “China's 2050 High Proportion of Renewable Energy Development Scenarios and Path Studies”, by 2030, the cumulative installed capacity of wind and solar power will exceed 2.05 billion kW, accounting for approximately 51% of the country's total installed power capacity. With the rapid growth of the proportion of wind power, wind power must change its role from a supplementary power source to a main power source, and actively participate in power grid operation control to achieve wind-power-friendly grid connection. In the transient process of the power grid, in order to effectively solve the problem of transient active support for large-scale wind power grid connection, it is urgent to carry out a demand analysis of wind power fault ride-through characteristics and master the key technologies of active support control in the transient process of wind power.

We investigate two classes of quantum control problems by using frequency-domain optimization algorithms in the context of ultrafast laser control of quantum systems. In the first class, the system model is known and a frequency-domain gradient-based optimization algorithm is applied to searching for an optimal control field to selectively and robustly manipulate the population transfer in atomic Rubidium. The other class of quantum control problems involves an experimental system with an unknown model. In the case, we introduce a differential evolution algorithm with a mixed strategy to search for optimal control fields and demonstrate the capability in an ultrafast laser control experiment for the fragmentation of Pr(hfac)3 molecules. The automation and coordination of vehicle has provided novel development opportunities for both the improvement of traffic efficiency and the efficiency and safety of vehicles within the platoon so that the research of related technology had becoming more and more popular. In this paper, we evaluate five traditional vehicle platoon auto-driving control algorithms in the sinusoidal scenario with disturbance. The simulation is realized in the PLEXE, which is an extension of the widespread vehicle network simulator Veins that allows the visually realistic simulation of platooning systems(i.e., automated car-following) and the analysis of mixed scenarios. For disturbance model in sinusoidal scenario, Gaussian noise is leveraged, which is a common disturbance of all kinds of system. Simulations' results indicate that, when the leader in the platoon driving with sinusoidal velocity with disturbance, Flatbed algorithm proposed by A. Ali, G. Garcia, and P. Martinet has higher stability and Anti-interference ability than the other four control algorithms. In addition, even under violent interference, this control law can maintain string stability (significant for platoon automation)and consistency of the platoon operations, such as consistent velocity and constant inter-vehicle gaps.

Large-scale wind and solar power generations have got rapid development in recent years in China and abroad. They always connect to load centres through high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission or ultra HVDC (UHVDC) transmission lines. Such systems are so large and it is necessary to make appropriate equivalence according to the purpose of different research. At present, the analysis model of this kind of real system is few, and simplified single-machine infinite-bus system or IEEE example system is adopted most of the time, which may affect the accuracy of analysis results. Here, the UHVDC project from a practical renewable energy base to load centres in China is chosen as an example, the actual structure and parameters are used to establish a typical example system for AC/DC hybrid power grid with high-proportion renewable energy. The new-generation synchronous condenser with large capacity and the supporting synchronous generators are all considered. First, the installed power generation, power grid structure, and load configuration of example system are introduced. Then the load flow distribution and transient stability characteristics are analysed by using DIgSILENT PowerFactory software. With the development of sensor networks in the past two decades, synchronization of complex dynamical networks has received an increasing attention and has been widely studied both in theoretical research and in practical applications. This paper concerns the synchronization protocol design problem of nonlinear dynamical complex networks with stochastic ***-integral(PI) control protocols are designed to guarantee that complex dynamical networks with stochastic coupling can achieve global synchronization. Sufficient condition for choice of PI control gains are derived. Numerical example is included to demonstrate the efficiency of the theoretical results.
