This paper studies the finite-time output consensus problem of second-order multi-agent systems with both mismatched disturbances and unknown state elements. This problem is solved by an active anti-disturbance control (AADC) method, which integrates the disturbance estimation/compensation and the baseline consensus protocols based on feedback control together. To estimate the matched/mismatched disturbances and the agents unknown state elements, a finite-time generalized state observer is constructed for each agent. Based on the distributed adding a power integrator feedback control method, and the estimates of the matched/mismatched disturbances and the systems unknown states, AADC consensus protocols are developed for both leaderless and leader-follower cases. The proposed protocols achieve finite-time consensus of the agents outputs in both cases. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed consensus algorithms.

This paper presents an optimization oriented performance assessment method for combustion process of coke oven by integrating analytic hierarchical process (AHP) and intuitionistic fuzzy(IF) set. An AHP model is built up including safety, stability and economic considerations. To handle the complexity in the combustion process of coke oven, where the decision maker usually has some uncertainty in assigning preference values to the index considered, the IF set is used to obtain the IF preference. Entropy and cross entropy are applied to calculate the weights of the individual indices. The comprehensive evaluation method integreated the AHP and IF can effectively solve the performance assessment for the combustion process of the coke oven. Finally, the data obtained from the process model in different operating conditions are used to demonstrate the effectiveness. © 2017

In this paper, an improved vehicle logo recognition method is proposed for detecting and recognizing logo in images captured by road surveillance cameras. Firstly, a feature-match based symmetry detection algorithm is adopted for detecting symmetric axis in the image and rotating the image. Then a learning-based License Plate Localization (LPL) approach and a coarse logo location algorithm by using prior knowledge are used to obtain a coarse logo region. Moreover, a new vehicle logo location method based on Gabor Filters is put forward in order to localize the exact region of logo. In addition, two features - Pyramid of Histograms of Orientation Gradients (PHOG) and Multi-scale Block Local Ternary Patterns (MB-LTP) are combined to recognize the vehicle logo. At last, experimental results on a large number of images validate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm. © 2016 IEEE.

Current control of IPMSM servo system is investigated in this paper. Under the field-weakening control framework, nonlinear couplings of the voltage equations are very strong. The current control performance may not be well until such nonlinear couplings are well dealed. In this case, a DOB-based model predictive control is proposed to improve the current control performance under field-weakening control framework. The proposed control method consists of a forecasted model based on disturbance observer, feedback correction for model mismatch rejection, and receding optimization for an optimized control input. Numerical simulations demonstrate that proposed method achieves nonlinear coupling attenuation ability and well promising field-weakening control performance.

This paper presents a four-stage localization method for epileptic seizure onset zones (SOZs). This method combines the advantages of both the Shannon-entropy-based complex Morlet wavelet transform (SE-CMWT) and adaptive-genetic-algorithm-based matching pursuit (AGA-MP) methods to achieve satisfactory localization performance. The Hilbert transform method is used to identify events of interest. The SE-CMWT-based power spectral density method is applied to acquire channels of interest (CoIs). By using the Morlet wavelets as the dictionary elements, the AGA-MP method combined with Morlet wavelets is developed to detect high-frequency oscillations (HFOs) on CoIs with faster speed and higher accuracy than the AGA-MP method. And the characteristics of HFOs are used to localize SOZs based on the half-maximum method. A comparison shows that our method has higher sensitivity and specificity than four existing methods. © 2017

The long-term goal of artificial intelligence （AI） is to make machines learn and think like human beings. Due to the high levels of uncertainty and vulnerability in human life and the open-ended nature of problems that humans are facing, no matter how intelligent machines are, they are unable to completely replace humans. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce human cognitive capabilities or human-like cognitive models into AI systems to develop a new form of AI, that is, hybrid-augmented intelligence. This form of AI or machine intelligence is a feasible and important developing model. Hybrid-augmented intelligence can be divided into two basic models： one is human-in-the-loop augmented intelligence with human-computer collaboration, and the other is cognitive computing based augmented intelligence, in which a cognitive model is embedded in the machine learning system. This survey describes a basic framework for human-computer collaborative hybrid-augmented intelligence, and the basic elements of hybrid-augmented intelligence based on cognitive computing. These elements include intuitive reasoning, causal models, evolution of memory and knowledge, especially the role and basic principles of intuitive reasoning for complex problem solving, and the cognitive learning framework for visual scene understanding based on memory and reasoning. Several typical applications of hybrid-augmented intelligence in related fields are given.

Speech emotion recognition (SER) is of great importance in the human-robot interaction, and SER have been developed rapidly in recent years. How to identify high correlation features is a main question. In this paper, multiple random forest (MRF) is proposed, which can effectively predict up to several thousand explanatory variables, and improve the recognition result. At the mean time, personalized features and non-personalized features are fused for SER that can be divided into different subclasses by adopting the fuzzy C-means (FCM) clustering algorithm, then FCM-based MRF is proposed. Finally, our model is established, and the confusion matrix is output. Moreover, we conduct a separate classification of some certain emotion, which are difficult to recognition to some extent. And results show that the proposed method of FCM-based MRF achieves good performance for SER, which the recognition accuracy is 84.17%.

In this paper,an extended heterogeneous SIR model is proposed,which generalizes the heterogeneous mean-field *** from the traditional heterogeneous mean-field model only taking into account the heterogeneity of degree,our model considers not only the heterogeneity of degree but also the heterogeneity of susceptibility and recovery ***,we analytically study the basic reproductive number and the final epidemic *** with numerical simulations,it is found that the basic reproductive number depends on the mean of distributions of susceptibility and disease course when both of them are *** the mean of these two distributions is identical,increasing the variance of susceptibility may block the spread of epidemics,while the corresponding increase in the variance of disease course has little effect on the final epidemic *** is also shown that positive correlations between individual susceptibility,course of disease and the square of degree make the population more vulnerable to epidemic and avail to the epidemic prevalence,whereas the negative correlations make the population less vulnerable and impede the epidemic prevalence.

This paper studies weighted group-consensus of multi-agent systems with bipartite topologies through adjusting the proportion of the current states and the delay states in the control algorithms.A sufficient condition for the convergence to a weighted group-consensus is proposed by adopting the generalized Nyquist stability criterion and the Gerschgorin disk theorem This condition is able to enlarge the upper bound on the maximum time-delay of weighted *** of the proposed result is demonstrated through numerical simulations.
