The partial shading condition (PSC) makes it challenging for the PV system to find the maximum power point. In this paper, an improved gray wolf algorithm (GWO) is proposed by introducing elimination mechanism, greedy mechanism and adjusting the convergence factor which overcomes the contradiction between global exploration ability and convergence time. Under fast varying irradiance and PSC, IGWO has been compared with GWO, particle swarm optimization (PSO), and adaptive particle swarm optimization (APSO), the results shows the superiority of IGWO in the MPPTs of the PV system.

Accurate estimation for state-of-health (SOH) of lithium-ion batteries is critical to ensure the security and durability of battery operation. Accordingly, this paper proposes a SOH estimation method based on Attention-LSTM neural network using the partial charging features. First, features are extracted from partial constant-current charging curves. Second, Pearson coefficient analysis is employed to analysis the mapping relationship between extracted features and SOH. Third, an Attention-LSTM network is utilized to realize the SOH estimation. The attention mechanism can adaptively assign weights to the input features and time steps, thereby improving the estimation accuracy. Validation experiments are conducted on public dataset from NASA Ames Prognostics Center of Excellence. The experimental results highlight that the proposed method has higher accuracy and robustness compared with other approaches.

This paper studies the classification problem of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks and proposes a comprehensive periodic feature extraction method based on sliding window division. A new data processing approach is proposed. Considering the characteristics of APT attacks, the life cycle of APT traffic data is divided into three stages. The traffic data from each stage is sampled in a piecewise manner and divided into separate training and testing sets, and then the training and testing subsets are merged. For the integrated sets, a sliding window-based partition approach is employed to obtain training and testing window samples, while extracting features from each individual sample. Then, this paper proposes a differential-based periodic feature extraction methodology to capture the dynamic information present in APT traffic and integrate it with fundamental static features, thereby forming effective comprehensive features. After combining these static and differential features, a comprehensive foundation is established for model training. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified using decision tree model, and its superiority is demonstrated by comparing it with traditional partition methods based on data streams.

This paper presents a high-performance ultralow pressure sensor with a novel piezoresistive beam-islandmembrane structure to enhance the sensor’s sensitivity and the natural frequency. The structure comprises a membrane, a beam, and several groups of islands. The sensor’s sensitivity is efficiently increased by hollowing out the beam structure. Meanwhile, the islands are hollow to improve the dynamic performance. The sensor chip size is only 3 mm×3 mm×0.47 mm with a pressure range of 600 Pa, the sensitivity of 0.232 mV/Pa, and the natural frequency of 19.96 kHz. Compared with other reported ultra-low pressure sensors, the sensitivity and dynamic performance have been greatly improved. The proposed sensor provides an excellent candidate for lowpressure measurement fields, such as surgery diagnostic systems, space shuttle high-precision flight controls, and so on.

Multi-object Tracking by Detection and Query: an efficient end-to-end manner

Multi-object tracking is advancing through two dominant paradigms: traditional tracking by detection and newly emerging tracking by query. In this work, we fuse them together and propose the tracking-by-detection-and-query paradigm, which is achieved by a Learnable Associator. Specifically, the basic information interaction module and the content-position alignment module are proposed for thorough information Interaction among object queries. Tracking results are directly Decoded from these queries. Hence, we name the method as LAID. Compared to tracking-by-query models, LAID achieves competitive tracking accuracy with notably higher training efficiency. With regard to tracking-by-detection methods, experimental results on DanceTrack show that LAID significantly surpasses the state-of-the-art heuristic method by 3.9% on HOTA metric and 6.1% on IDF1 metric. On SportsMOT, LAID also achieves the best score on HOTA metric. By holding low training cost, strong tracking capabilities, and an elegant end-to-end approach all at once, LAID presents a forward-looking direction for the field. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. In the context of the gradual shortage of fossil energy and serious pollution, the voice of energy transformation is increasing year by year. With the development of Internet and artificial intelligence, the smart energy is getting more and more attention, and it is also the key direction of the upgrading of the world energy industry. In this process, in order to better understand its development and effectively guide the future construction and development of smart energy, appropriate and reasonable evaluation is essential. In the past few years, some researchers have put forward some evaluation methods for smart energy systems, and have achieved some good results. However, only traditional evaluation methods are used which are more subjective. Therefore, the application of machine learning method in the evaluation of smart energy system is worth trying and studying. Starting from the requirements of energy system and human development, this paper first introduces the emergence and development of smart energy and its evaluation methods. Simultaneously indicating the necessity of evaluation. Then the formation of the evaluation index system is briefly introduced. Secondly, machine learning algorithm models such as support vector machines, decision trees, and BP neural networks used are introduced respectively. Finally, experiments are carried out to train the model, and then comparing and analyzing the results. The final results show that the machine learning method plays a good role in the research of smart energy system evaluation, which is worthy of further research. © 2021 IEEE.

Low earth orbit satellite communication systems are attractive for provisioning global, high-speed and low latency Internet access services. In order to achieve global continuous multiple coverage, the number of satellites is tremendous. But Low earth orbit satellite networks are prone to instability due to unpredictable link failures and frequent topology changes. Therefore, in this paper, a novel routing schemes with quick response to link failures is first proposed. Based on Dijkstra algorithm, a scalable routing algorithm is proposed to minimize the end-to-end transmission delay. It takes advantage of the predictable constellation trajectory, and changes dynamically according to the changes of network topology. It provides the shortest routing path and an alternative path simultaneously. When a link failure is detected by one satellite, notification packets will be sent to its neighbors for adjustment to the alternative routing path. Notification packets also will be sent to the head node for the recalculation of routing table. Finally, extensive simulations have been conducted, and the results show that the proposed scheme is able to produce desired performance. © 2022 IEEE.

Abnormalities caused by the hot spot effect are very common in the application of photovoltaic modules, which seriously affect the life and power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules. Therefore, the study of hot spot effect is of great significance to the development of photovoltaic industry in the future. By analyzing the hot spot effect and its causes, this paper lists possible factors that may affect the hot spot effect, uses the K-proximity algorithm for hot spot detection to classify the near-field infrared images obtained in photovoltaic power plants, and designs experiments to explore the influence of several factors on the hot spot effect, the influence characteristics of the shading area and the types of shading objects are deeply explored, and finally a certain summary is made. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. Pinr: A Physics-Integrated Neural Representation for Dynamic Fluid Scenes

Recent research based on neural representation has achieved impressive results in dynamic reconstruction. However, reconstructing high-fidelity dynamic fluid scenes from multi-view videos remains challenging due to the complex fluid phenomena such as translucency, scattering, occlusion, and visual ambiguity. In this paper, we present a novel neural representation that simultaneously exploits physics knowledge and differentiable volume rendering techniques to construct a physically plausible neural field. We first propose a simple yet effective state field to separate fluid and non-fluid contents apart, which essentially reduces the amount of computation and appearance ambiguity. To achieve robust optimization and fast convergence, we introduce intermediate velocity in neural representation based on Helmholtz Decomposition to decouple physical quantities (velocity, pressure and density) that are tightly coupled in physical equations. In contrast to previous physics-informed reconstruction methods, we explore a novel solution by introducing a fast and stable fluid solver to update the intermediate velocity to a physically conserved incompressible velocity. This solver is based on a parallelizable multi-scale architecture, which can effectively avoid degenerate solutions. By adopting the proposed physics-aware loss, we achieved better convergence and superior performance in dynamic fluid scenes. Extensive experiments show that the proposed method can achieve state-of-the-art results for reconstructing dynamic fluid scenes, and the performance and efficiency have been significantly improved in different scenarios. © 2024, The Authors. In this paper, a nonsmooth observer considering friction compensation is proposed for the sensorless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) to estimate the rotor position and speed. Friction is one of the main factors affecting the tracking accuracy of the motor at low speed, especially in the back and forth motion of the motor. Firstly, based on the Stribeck friction model, a nonlinear friction model of the motor is established. Secondly, a nonsmooth observer with friction compensation is designed to estimate the position and speed of the rotor, and the lumped disturbance of the system at the same time. Further, the stability analysis of this nonsmooth observer is given. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results.
