Neural Network Aided Low-Complexity Decoding for PAC Codes

Polarization-adjusted convolutional (PAC) codes are an advanced variant of polar codes, capable of approaching the dispersion bound in certain cases. However, to achieve the near-bound performance, the computational complexity is insufferable. In this letter, a neural network (NN)-aided low-complexity PAC decoding algorithm is proposed, which brings significant complexity reduction while maintaining the error-correction performance. Specifically, the NN is employed for the selection of the lowest complexity decoding algorithm from Fano sequential and list decoding algorithms. Moreover, we optimize the design of the NN to reduce the complexity it introduces. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm reduces average complexity by up to 86.86% and 89.70% compared with the original Fano sequential and list decoding algorithms, respectively. Multi-Source Data Privacy Protection Method Based on Homomorphic Encryption and Blockchain

Multi-Source data plays an important role in the evolution of media *** fusion processing enables the further mining of data and utilization of data value and broadens the path for the sharing and dissemination of media ***,it also faces serious problems in terms of protecting user and data *** privacy protectionmethods have been proposed to solve the problemof privacy leakage during the process of data sharing,but they suffer fromtwo flaws:1)the lack of algorithmic frameworks for specific scenarios such as dynamic datasets in the media domain;2)the inability to solve the problem of the high computational complexity of ciphertext in multi-source data privacy protection,resulting in long encryption and decryption *** this paper,we propose a multi-source data privacy protection method based on homomorphic encryption and blockchain technology,which solves the privacy protection problem ofmulti-source heterogeneous data in the dissemination ofmedia and reduces ciphertext processing *** deployed the proposedmethod on theHyperledger platformfor testing and compared it with the privacy protection schemes based on k-anonymity and differential *** experimental results showthat the key generation,encryption,and decryption times of the proposedmethod are lower than those in data privacy protection methods based on k-anonymity technology and differential privacy *** significantly reduces the processing time ofmulti-source data,which gives it potential for use in many applications.

Investigation on photonic generation of narrow-width frequency-doubled Nyquist pulses based on spectrum manipulation

A scheme for generating Nyquist pulses with a 12-line doubled flat optical frequency comb (OFC) is presented by cascading two two-electrode Mach–Zehnder modulators (De-MZM). The first De-MZM1 can operate in the optical carrier suppression modulation state to obtain a 4-line OFC, which is then introduced into the optical interleaver phase-locked;the resulting 4-line OFC serves as the driving signal into the De-MZM2 for the secondary modulation to generate more comb lines. OFC amplitude is adjusted to satisfy the sinc-shaped Nyquist waveform characteristics by fixing two De-MZM modulation indices. Theoretical analysis and simulation results reveal that a 20 GHz narrow-amplitude Nyquist pulse corresponding to a 12-line OFC can be generated using a 10 GHz radio-frequency drive signal. Impacts of bias point drift of the two modulators are discussed and tolerance ranges are determined. 10 GHz, 15 GHz, and 30 GHz Nyquist pulses are also generated based on the above theory. The approach offers the possibility of generating Nyquist pulses, facilitating their application in channel multiplexing. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

In the Internet era,recommendation systems play a crucial role in helping users find relevant information from large *** imbalance is known to severely affect data quality,and therefore reduce the performance of recommendation *** to the imbalance,machine learning algorithms tend to classify inputs into the positive(majority)class every time to achieve high prediction *** can be categorized such as by features and classes,but most studies consider only class *** this paper,we propose a recommendation system that can integrate multiple networks to adapt to a large number of imbalanced features and can deal with highly skewed and imbalanced datasets through a loss *** propose a loss aware feature attention mechanism(LAFAM)to solve the issue of feature *** network incorporates an attention mechanism and uses multiple sub-networks to classify and learn *** better results,the network can learn the weights of sub-networks and assign higher weights to important *** propose suppression loss to address class imbalance,which favors negative loss by penalizing positive loss,and pays more attention to sample points near the decision *** on two large-scale datasets verify that the performance of the proposed system is greatly improved compared to baseline methods.

For the task of content retrieval,analysis and generation of film and television scene images in the field of intelligent editing,fine-grained emotion recognition and prediction of images is of great *** this paper,the fusion of traditional perceptual features,art features and multi-channel deep learning features are used to reflect the emotion expression of different levels of the *** addition,the integrated learning model with stacking architecture based on linear regression coefficient and sentiment correlations,which is called the LS-stacking model,is proposed according to the factor association between multi-dimensional *** experimental results prove that the mixed feature and LS-stacking model can predict well on the 16 emotion categories of the self-built image *** study improves the fine-grained recognition ability of image emotion by computers,which helps to increase the intelligence and automation degree of visual retrieval and post-production system.

Novel and Efficient Rainbow Signature Scheme Based on Circulant and Toeplitz Matrices for Intelligent IoT

Quantum computing increases the security risks of data in intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) based on traditional cryptography. Multivariate Public key Cryptography has the security advantage of resisting quantum computing and Rainbow is an important research focus in it. However, the Rainbow algorithms secret keys are too large to suitable for resource-constrained IoT system. We propose an efficient Rainbow signature scheme based on circulant and Toeplitz matrices for intelligent IoT. In our scheme, the variable matrixes of polynomials have special forms constructed from circulant and Toeplitz matrices. Every variable matrix of central maps and public key polynomials is divided into four submatrices. Three submatrices of variable matrixes are generated using seeds randomly chosen. The fourth submatrix is generated by an affine map and three submatrices. Therefore, the public key consists of seeds and variables in the fourth submatrices, rather than all variables of polynomials. Then, the correctness of our scheme has been proved and we provide a security analysis. More specifically, it's proved that the scheme can resist five attacks against Rainbow, such as Direct attacks, Unbalanced oil vinegar attacks, MinRank attacks, HighRank attacks, and Rainbow-band-separation attacks. At last, according to the experimental results, our system's public key sizes are 97.96% smaller and private key size are 92.12% than the key sizes of the standard Rainbow scheme. Additionally, compare with other Rainbow-like schemes, the comparison analysis and experimental results show that our scheme has less communication costs and small key size than those in the similar literatures for IoT. © 2024 IEEE.

Compact wideband FSS-absorber-based low-RCS reflectarray antenna

This paper presents a method to realize compact broadband low-RCS ReflectArray(RA)antenna based on a Frequency Selective Surface(FSS)absorber and a reflective *** an FSS absorber consists of a resistance-loaded lossy layer and an FSS layer,which is utilized to reach an absorption-transmission *** bottom reflective metasurface works as a phase array,reshaping the quasi-sphere wave from the feeding antenna into the quasi-plane *** a demonstration,the low-RCS RA antenna is simulated,fabricated,and *** simulated and measured results show that the developed low-RCS RA antenna has an aperture efficiency of 42.7%and a gain of 25.4 dBi in the X *** the meantime,it simultaneously reaches the 10 dB RCS reduction for the orthogonal polarizations at the S and C bands,corresponding to a fractal bandwidth of 120%.Specifically,the adopted patch-feeding antenna makes the RA antenna more compact than the horn-feed conventional ***,the proposed RA antenna uses a few layers of substrates,making it lower in cost and easier for *** proposed design may have potential application in integrated stealth communication systems.
