The multi-stack fuel cell system(MFCS) is an important basis for the application of solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)technology to large-scale power generation *** can provide higher power,longer lifetime and better *** from the single-stack fuel cell system(SFCS),there may be some inconsistencies among the stacks in the *** the inconsistencies are ignored,they will significantly affect the lifetime of the *** study focuses on the lifetime extension of multi-stack SOFC power generation systems with inconsistent *** the multi-stack system of SOFC generally cannot control the flow rate of each stack respectively,it brings a difficulty to the control of the MFCS with inconsistencies among the *** order to overcome this difficulty,this paper built a multi-stack SOFC system model,which can characterize the degradation and inconsistencies among SOFC *** then designed a power distribution strategy based on fuzzy control to extend the lifetime of the *** strategy was verified by *** simulation results show that the strategy can effectively control the inconsistencies among the stacks and significantly extend the lifetime of the MFCS.

Multi-band terahertz metamaterial absorbers offer new perspectives to achieve perfect absorption and multipoint information matching, which enable an ever-growing number of applications. In this study, a dual-band terahertz metamaterial absorber based on the metal split ring is designed. The absorber has perfect absorption peaks at 1.15 THz and 2.47 THz, and the absorption rate is more than 99%. The absorber produces a harp peak with a bandwidth of 0.008 at 2.47 THz, which has an extremely high quality factor of 308. The distribution of the electric field and surface current at two resonance points is analyzed using the finite element integration method. Through full wave simulation calculation, the maximum sensitivity of the analyte refractive index of the absorber is 400 GHz/RIU, and the maximum sensitivity of the thickness is 35 GHz/μm. The results show that the absorber can achieve highly sensitive detection of trace substances. © 2023 SPIE. All rights reserved.

Aiming at the shortcomings of traditional point cloud segmentation algorithms, this paper proposes a 3D lidar point cloud segmentation method combining ground filtering and multi-scale twin range image construction. This method fully considers the geometric space distribution characteristics of the point cloud and the randomness of the positions between *** on the assumption of multi plane model, the point cloud is divided into sectors. The ground points are removed through region ground plane fitting and growth, and then the multi-scale twin range image is constructed according to non-ground *** the basis of the twin range image, the Breadth First Search algorithm is improved, the depth-breadth joint search strategy is proposed, all the points to be clustered are traversed, and the adaptive clustering threshold is used for point cloud clustering,which realizes a point cloud segmentation method with higher accuracy and robustness. Through the experimental analysis of KITTI dataset and collected campus outdoor scene dataset, compared with the traditional point cloud segmentation algorithm,the method proposed in this paper can effectively improve the point cloud segmentation accuracy and robustness of mobile robots in complex environments.

This article addresses an adaptive tracking control problem for uncertain high-order fully actuated (HOFA) systems with unknown parameters and disturbances. Under the framework of backstepping, the unknown parameter is estimated and the external disturbance is handled by using adaptive control and H8 technique, respectively. Moreover, the Levant differentiator is employed to reduce the computation burden. Additionally, the boundedness of signals in the closed-loop system is proven using the Lyapunov theory. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is validated through the simulation study. © 2024 IEEE.

Cascading Failures in Interdependent Directed Networks Under Localized Attacks

Many real-world systems interact with one another through dependency links, which reduces the system robustness. Most previous studies on the robustness of interdependent networks focus on undirected networks, and the related studies on directed networks are limited to random or targeted attacks. However, some failure scenarios can not be described by these two kinds of attacks, such as earthquakes, floods, and epidemics, where systems are attacked in a local range. In this work, we develop a theoretical framework for analyzing the robustness of interdependent directed networks under localized attacks. We find that for degree homogeneous networks, network robustness under localized attacks is similar to that under random attacks. There are four phase transitions in the phase diagram of the network, and a four-phase transition point and a two-phase transition point are found. For degree heterogeneous networks, localized attacks are more likely to lead to collapse than random attacks. As the coupling strength between networks increases, the interdependent networks first show a second order phase transition, and then a hybrid phase transition, and a first order phase transition at last. Furthermore, as the degree heterogeneity decreases, the robustness of networks first increases and then decreases, showing a local robustness maximum. The findings could help understand network robustness and enable better design of robust interdependent systems. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Deterministic-like data-driven discovery of stochastic differential equations via the Feynman–Kac formalism

This paper develops a data-driven deterministic identification architecture for discovering stochastic differential equations (SDEs) directly from data. The architecture first generates deterministic data for stochastic processes using the Feynman–Kac formula, and gives a parabolic partial differential equation (PDE) associated with the SDE. Then, a sparse regression model is proposed to discover drift and diffusion terms in SDEs using PDE data-driven techniques, where a large candidate library of potential terms only for the drift and diffusion coefficients in SDEs need be constructed. To simultaneously infer the drift and diffusion terms, we proposed a sequential thresholded reweighted least-squares algorithm to solve the constructed sparse regression model. The main advantage of the proposed method is that on the one hand, theoretical and numerical identification results of PDEs can be used for SDEs, on the score, our SDE identification problem is translated into the parameter estimation problem of PDEs, on the other hand, the proposed algorithm is easily executed and can enhance the sparsity and accuracy. Through several classical SDEs and ordinary differential equations, the effectiveness of the proposed data-driven method is demonstrated, and several comparison experiments with state-of-the-art approaches is provided to illustrate the superiority of the developed algorithm.

Distributionally Robust control Synthesis for Stochastic Systems with Safety and Reach-Avoid Specifications

We investigate the problem of synthesizing distributionally robust control policies for stochastic systems under safety and reach-avoid specifications. Using a game-theoretical framework, we consider the setting where the probability distribution of the disturbance at each time step is selected from an ambiguity set defined by the Wasserstein distance. The goal is to synthesize a distributionally robust control policy that ensures the satisfaction probability exceeds a specified threshold under any distribution within the ambiguity set. First, for both safety and reach-avoid specifications, we establish the existence of optimal policies by leveraging the dynamic programming principles. Then we demonstrate how the associated optimization problem can be efficiently solved using the dual representation of Wasserstein distributionally robust optimization. Furthermore, for safety specifications in particular, we introduce a novel concept of distributionally robust control barrier certificates and show how these enable the efficient synthesis of controllers through sum-of-squares programming techniques. Finally, our experimental results reveal that incorporating distributional robustness during the synthesis phase significantly improves the satisfaction probability during online execution, even with limited statistical knowledge of the disturbance distribution. Chorioallantoic membrane(CAM)is responsible for respiratory gas exchange,eggshell calcium transport,embryonic acid-base equilibrium,allantoic ion,and water reabsorption during avian embryonic *** further understand the timing of CAM gene expression during chick embryonic development,especially the calcium absorption mechanism,transcriptome quantitative comparative analysis was conducted on chick CAM during the embryonic period(E)of 9,13,17,and 20 days.A total of 6378 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were *** enrichment analysis of DEGs showed that CAM DEGs were mainly involved in biological processes such as"ion transport regulation","immune response"and"cell cycle".Time series analysis of the differential genes showed that the functional cells of CAM began to proliferate and differentiate at E9 and the calcium content of egg embryo increased significantly at ***,the observation of the ultrastructure of the eggshell showed that the interstice of the fiber layer was enlarged at E13,and the mastoid layer was partly ***,it is preliminarily inferred that CAM calcium transport starts at E13,and genes such as TRPV6,S100 A10,and RANKL cooperate to regulate calcium release and transport.
