Location based services are the hottest applications on mobile device nowadays. Indoor wireless position is the key technology to enable location based service to work well indoors, where Global Position system normally couldn't work. The main tendency of indoor wireless position is based on Bluetooth and RSSI (radio signal strength indicator). RSSI is the key parameter for wireless position. But values of RSSI are affected by environment factors easily. Because of this reason, results got from the indoor location technology are usually imprecise and unacceptable. In this paper, an adaptive algorithm based on Distance-Loss model in complex environment is introduced to deal with such problems. The algorithm makes the model adapt to the environment by several parameters which are not influenced by environment. The stability and the accuracy of the algorithm is evidenced by a series of strict experiences.

Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is a typical process with wafer revisiting that should be performed by cluster tools. This paper discusses the scheduling problem of single-arm cluster tools for the ALD process. In scheduling such system, the most difficult part is to schedule the revisiting process and obtain its optimal cycle time. This paper studies the revisiting process of ALD with revisiting times k = 3, 4, and 5. Analytical expressions are obtained to calculate the cycle time for the k possible schedules with k = 3, 4, and 5, respectively, so as to obtain the optimal one. In this way, the scheduling problem of such a revisiting process becomes simple and this is a significant improvement in scheduling cluster tools with wafer revisiting.

To improve the availability of data in the cloud and avoid vendor lock-in risk, multi-cloud storage is attracting more and more attentions. However, accessing data from the cloud usually has some disadvantages such as higher latency and more bandwidth-consuming. Edge computing, which has become popular in recent years, could effectively solve the above problems while it usually reduces availability. Storage only in the cloud or edge environment is limited by many factors. To this end, we build mathematical model which is abstracted from real access mode of users in consideration of multi-cloud and edge. This paper presents a method combined NSGAII with multi-group method which has better ability of global search to help users determine cloud and edge services to store and access data object. A large number of experiments using real service provider information demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms existing methods and effectiveness of it.

This paper introduces a regularization method called Correlative Filter (CF) for Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), which takes advantage of the relevance between the convolutional kernels belonging to the same convolutional layer. During the process of training with the proposed CF method, several pairs of filters are designed in a manner of randomness to contain opposite weights in low-level layers. Regarding higher level layers where synthetical features are processed, the relation between correlative filters is explored as translation of various directions. The proposed CF method attempts to optimize the inner structure of convolutional layers and it can work jointly with other regularization techniques, such as stochastic pooling, Dropout, etc. The experimental results on the competitive image classification benchmark dataset CIFAR-10 demonstrates the performance of the proposed CF method, additionally, it is also verified that the proposed CF method is wonderful to be employed to enhance several state-of-the-art regularization models.

This paper proposes a novel adaptive interpolation filter (AIF) to reduce computational complexity and bit-rate of video coding. In the proposed AIF, the filter coefficients of B frames, which are predicted from those of adjacent P frames with a novel parabolic model, are unnecessary to transmit. Experimental results show that the coding complexity is reduced by 40.22% with no penalty on coding efficiency and 1.59% bit rate reduction is achieved at low bit-rate against conventional AIF.
