This paper focuses on the problem of fuzzy control for a class of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. New methods of stabilization design and H-infinity control are derived based on a relaxed approach in which both fuzzy Lyapunov functions and staircase membership functions are used. Through the staircase membership functions approx- imating the continuous membership functions of the given fuzzy model, the membership functions can be brought into the design conditions of fuzzy systems, thereby significantly reducing the conservativeness in the recent fuzzy controller design methods. Unlike some previous fuzzy Lyapunov function approaches reported in the literatures, the proposed design techniques of stabilization and H-infinity control do not depend on the time-derivative of the membership functions that may be pointed out as the main source of conservatism when considering fuzzy Lyapunov functions analysis. Moreover, conditions for the solvability of the controller design given here are written in the form of linear matrix inequalities, but not bilinear matrix inequalities, which are easier to be solved by convex optimization techniques. Simulation examples are given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed approaches.

According to Zigbee wireless communication technology with the characteristics of low cost, low power, low-complexity and short-distance, we designed a wireless home remote control system. Its design is based on microcontroller chip CC2430 from TI company and IAR software platform. This paper introduces the system hardware circuit design and the core software algorithm in detail. The test finally shows the system can achieve the wireless remote control in household equipments - lights, doorbell, air conditioning, etc. Some other potential application areas and its direction of development in future are given at last.

Three-Dimensional (3D) surface measuring, as an important procedure of reverse engineering, is being causing concerns interests by more and more researcher. In this paper, a 3D measuring device for complex curve surfaces based on Gray coded Structured Light (SL) and stereo vision was designed. The measuring model was built based on the measuring principle. And the Gray decoding value of each sample point is the stereo matching element. After errors analyzing, the error of image coordinate extracting is determined as the largest error source for measuring result. The results of experiments show that this design is feasible, and the acquirement of the 3D data of complex curve surfaces is achieved. The reconstruct surface is similar in the visual effects, and the reconstruction surface could be display smoothly and detail.

The nonlinear dynamical model of wind turbine generator drive system is presented considering nonlinear stiffness of the drive system. The frequency characteristics of wind turbine drive system incented by different forms, such as phase plane and Poincaré section are studied by simulation. The stability of wind turbine generator drive system is analyzed by using bifurcation and chaos theories. The stability of the periodic motion and the process of period-doubling bifurcation into chaos are further studied, and the effect of nonlinear stiffness on stability of wind turbine generator drive system is showed. The results show that negative nonlinear stiffness is beneficial to keep the stability of system, and when the chaos appears on the system, incentive parameter increases as the negative nonlinear stiffness increases.
