The intelligent stratified injection and production technology is one of the effective means to improve oil recovery. For the permanent stratified injection and production measurement and control system, a wide input range of downhole high temperature power module is designed to realize long-term reliable and low ripple power logging operations. First of all, the module adopts a high-frequency and efficient single-stage Buck converter and effective control mode to meet the wide input voltage and the stability of the power supply in the full load range. When the input range is 6-150V, the maximum output of 5V and 3A can be reached, and the ripple is less than 50mV. Secondly, replace the collocation of the peripheral circuit, get 3.3V, 12V output, the ripple meets the corresponding requirements, and the power supply has the ability to work for a long time at high temperature. Finally, through the design of the prototype, it meets the requirements of various indicators, and verifies the practicability and correctness of the power module. © 2024 SPIE.

Corrosion under insulation (CUI) is a major potential threat in the petroleum and chemical industries. In the industry, a wide variety of insulation thickens are available in coated pipes. Conventional probes use adjusted power to detect different thickens of insulation, increasing the detection difficulty. In order to adapt to the change of the thickness of insulation layer, a model of corrosion under insulation layer based on focused emission array is studied. A multi-probe array is used to adjust the thickness of different types of insulation layer by adjusting the deviation Angle between the multiple probes. The difference of thermal insulation thickness between single probe and multi-array probe is compared, and the diversity of thermal insulation thickness variation is verified by focusing emission array. © 2024 SPIE.

Intelligent manufacturing is the main development trend of today's manufacturing industry, and talents are the first resource. Through the analysis of the current situation of cultivating talents in mechanical engineering in colleges and universities, it is found that most students of this major have difficulty in involving in knowledge of other fields outside their specialties, and their knowledge structure is relatively single. In response to the above problems, this paper proposes the training mode of multidisciplinary cross-integration of talents in mechanical engineering, which is analysed through the study of maximum temperature prediction of steel ladle shell. The BP neural network based on the improved genetic algorithm is trained on the experimental data samples to achieve the maximum temperature prediction of ladle shell under different thickness combinations of insulation layer, safety layer and working layer. By learning the knowledge of target prediction, students' overall development is promoted. © 2023 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

This paper discusses the data-driven design of linear quadratic regulators,i.e.,to obtain the regulators directly from experimental data without using the models of *** particular,we aim to improve an existing design method by reducing the amount of the required experimental *** the data amount leads to the cost reduction of experiments and computation for the data-driven *** present a simplified version of the existing method,where parameters yielding the gain of the regulator are estimated from only part of the data required in the existing *** then show that the data amount required in the presented method is less than half of that in the existing method under certain *** addition,assuming the presence of measurement noise,we analyze the relations between the expectations and variances of the estimated parameters and the *** a result,it is shown that using a larger amount of the experimental data might mitigate the effects of the noise on the estimated *** results are verified by numerical examples.

The temperature modulation technique based on semiconductor gas sensors is a kind of multi-modal characteristic signal output with temperature dependence by periodically changing the heating temperature mode of the sensor, which can effectively address the low response rate and poor selectivity issues encountered in semiconductor gas sensors. To improve the detection characteristics of the sensor for four environmental test gases, CH4, CO, C2H5OH, and NO2, this paper uses rectangular wave temperature modulation mode for low-frequency dynamic performance test analysis, discrete wavelet transform and principal component analysis for dynamic information feature extraction and dimensionality reduction, combined with GA-PNN model for optimal identification. The results show that the selectivity of gas detection is improved in all the nine designed temperature modulation modes, and the response rate is improved significantly. Among them, the gas qualitative analysis accuracy can reach 100% in the rectangular wave modulation mode with 4-5 V bias and a 20 s period, opening up a new semiconductor sensor detection path. © 2023 IEEE.

Type 1-3 piezoelectric composite vibrators are commonly used in hydroacoustic detection, nondestructive flaw detection and medical ultrasound due to their high electromechanical characteristics and high stability. The temperature stability of piezoelectric composites is one of the key issues in the design of piezoelectric composites due to the large difference in the temperature characteristics of the polymer and piezoelectric ceramic phases, and the research on the testing method of the temperature deformation of piezoelectric composite oscillators can provide a reliable basis for the screening of piezoelectric composite oscillators for transducers, and promote the improvement of the piezoelectric composite oscillator design and preparation process, which has great significance for the performance enhancement of the transducer and the sonar system. It is of great significance for the improvement of transducer and sonar system performance. In this paper, the temperature characteristics of six piezoelectric composites with different polymer phases are compared, and the results show that the 9110B and 9110W silicone piezoelectric composites have better temperature stability. The relative change in frequency constant of 9110B silicone piezoelectric composite is 0.12 and the relative change in dielectric constant is 2.29 under the variable temperature environment from 25 °C to 120 °C. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

Optimization of the Internet of Remote Things Data Acquisition Based on Satellite UAV Integrated Network

In order to achieve dependable and efficient data acquisition and transmission in the Internet of Remote Things(IoRT),we investigate the optimization scheme of IoRT data acquisition under the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-low earth orbit(LEO)satellite integrated space-air-ground network,in which the UAV acquires data from massive Internet of Things(IoT)devices in special *** combine with the actual scenario,we consider two different data types,that is,delay-sensitive data and delay-tolerant data,the transmission mode is accordingly divided into two *** delay-sensitive data,the data will be transmitted via the LEO satellite relay to the data center(DC)in *** delay-tolerant data,the UAV will store and carry the data until the acquisition is completed,and then return to *** to nonconvexity and complexity of the formulated problem,a multi-dimensional optimization Rate Demand based Joint Optimization(RDJO)algorithm is *** algorithm first uses successive convex approximation(SCA)technology to solve the non-convexity,and then based on the block coordinate descent(BCD)method,the data acquisition efficiency is maximized by jointly optimizing UAV deployment,the bandwidth allocation of IoRT devices,and the transmission power of the ***,the proposed RDJO algorithm is compared with the conventional *** consequences demonstrate that the efficiency of IoRT data acquisition can be greatly improved by multi-parameter optimization of the bandwidth allocation,UAV deployment and the transmission power.

This study investigates the use of the Vicsek model for maintaining autonomous intervals in the cooperative flight of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Although the Vicsek model effectively simulates group movement, it does not inherently maintain safe intervals between drones. To address this limitation, we propose an enhanced approach that incorporates a speed adaptive mechanism and a repulsive force mechanism. The speed adaptive mechanism dynamically adjusts the drone's speed based on its proximity to neighboring drones, slowing down when in close proximity and speeding up when further apart, thus preventing collisions. Additionally, the repulsive force mechanism ensures that drones maintain a safe distance from each other, even in high-density areas, thereby avoiding clustering and maintaining formation stability. Our simulation results indicate that drones equipped with these mechanisms achieve direction and speed consistency more rapidly, effectively avoid collisions in dense environments, and enhance overall movement speed and task execution efficiency. This approach provides a robust solution for autonomous interval maintenance in UAV swarms, ensuring safe and efficient collaborative operations in complex environments. The findings of this study contribute significantly to the field of UAV collaborative flight, offering practical implications for military reconnaissance, agricultural management, logistics, and disaster relief applications. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.

Solving inverse kinematics (IK) is an excellent challenge for redundant manipulators due to their highly non-linear and complex coupling, which is not amenable to analytical solutions by conventional methods. In this paper, the conventional solution was replaced by the optimization process of a fitness function. The fitness function aims to obtain a set of solutions for the desired position of the end effector (EE). The function is based on forward kinematics;hence, this method can avoid singularities and be suitable for solving redundant manipulators. For solving this optimization problem, the bald eagle search (BES) optimization algorithm was chosen due to its easy principle and excellent performance. BES integrates the advantages of evolutionary and swarm techniques. On the one hand, BES maximizes the advantages offered by swarm intelligence (SI) in terms of searching within the best position in the swarm. On the other hand, BES capitalizes on the capability of evolutionary techniques to explore the search space frequently and avoid the local optimum. In this study, two 7-degree of freedom (DOF) manipulators were used to test the performance of BES. Meanwhile, several evolutionary and SI optimization algorithms were selected to compare with BES. The experimental results demonstrate that the BES optimization algorithm can efficiently and accurately solve the IK problem of 7DOF redundant manipulators. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

In recent years, with the increase in vehicle volume, the traffic system has been inconvenienced. Therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of traffic flow prediction are crucial to the overall efficiency of the traffic system. Echo state network (ESN) has attracted extensive attention in the field of time series and traffic flow prediction due to its simple concept, low computational cost and simplicity. However, the traditional ESN model has certain limitations in terms of prediction accuracy and stability when facing complex and changeable traffic flow data. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes an ESN prediction model combined with adaptive optimization. The simulated annealing algorithm is used to optimize the configuration of several important parameters of ESN, thereby improving the prediction performance and stability of the model. The experimental results show that the optimized ESN model is significantly better than the traditional ESN method in terms of prediction accuracy and stability. The monthly mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) is reduced from 10.05% to 6.6%, and the average error of each detector is reduced from 9.5% to 6.61%. This study proposes a more efficient and reliable method for short-term traffic flow prediction, which shows potential value in practical applications. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.
