The scale of data centers is expanding with the advancement of digitalization, and their functions and structures are becoming more complex. Driven by the concept of green and sustainable development, traditional data centers have been transforming towards greener operations. More and more data centers, especially distributed data center nodes, are beginning to use green energy. This paper proposes a hybrid data center model HDCI that combines the characteristics of 'centralized' and 'distributed' architectures and primarily powered by green energy. The IPFS-based data storage architecture is employed within the HDC framework to ensure data security even when nodes are offline. Besides, a novel IPFS-based hybrid data center storage and recovery method is proposed. Besides, a data storage and scheduling strategy considering the conditions of energy is used to allocate data storage of data centers in different situations. This mode has achieved high reliability in data storage and energy saving. The hybrid data center is gradually being applied in real-world scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper centers around the examination of a downlink system comprising of a base station (BS) located at the center of a circular cell. Within this cell, we find cache-equipped users uniformly distributed. Our aim is to explore an innovative approach to enhance spectral efficiency by dividing the users into two groups, effectively utilizing the principles of nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and coded caching. Introducing the NOMA over coded caching scheme, we propose a novel method to elevate the service rate. We derive closedform expressions to accurately quantify the performance of NOMA over coded caching in terms of the service rate. Simulation experiments are conducted to validate the superiority of our proposed algorithm. The results demonstrate the remarkable efficacy of the NOMA over coded caching schemes in significantly improving the service rate, surpassing the conventional coded caching and non-encoding caching schemes. © 2023 IEEE.

Motion Planning of Mobile Robot Based on Goal-orientated Hierarchical Smoothing Optimization JPS Algorithm

Due to lack of direction guidance in the path search process of JPS (jump point search) algorithm, there are many redundant points, turning points and uneven paths on the planned path. Therefore, a GHSO-JPS (goal-oriented hierarchical smoothing optimization JPS) algorithm is proposed. Besides that, the multi-segment polynomial method and the collision penalty algorithm based on repulsive potential field are applied to trajectory optimization. By the attractive potential field, the search is focused on the goal direction, and irrelevant jump points in the search are reduced. Then, a hierarchical smoothing optimization strategy is adopted to eliminate redundant points and turning points in the path. Besides that, both the path point amount and the path length are reduced while improving the path smoothness. Finally, the multi-segment polynomial method is used to optimize the trajectory, and the penalty function against trajectory collision based on repulsive potential field is built to improve the trajectory safety. The real vehicle experiments are executed in the areas of laboratory and university, to analyze the proposed algorithm and compare with JPS, A∗, RRT (rapidly-exploring random tree) algorithms. As the result, the proposed alogrithm shows the best performances among the 4 algorithms. Compared with the traditional JPS algorithm, the search time of the proposed algorithm is reduced by 41.6%, the amount of jump points is reduced by 55.5%, the path length is reduced by 3.22 m, and number of path points and total turning angle are reduced by 89.8% and 81.8% respectively, in the university area. Compared with A∗ and RRT algorithms, the planning time of the proposed algorithm is reduced by 70.4% and 93.7% respectively, and the total turning angle of the planned optimal path is reduced by 90.3% and 97.1% respectively. A framework of day-ahead wind supply power forecasting by risk scenario perception

Wind power forecasting (WPF) systems are essential to maintain the safe and stable operation of the power system in case of large-scale grid-connected wind farms. However, the current forecasting has the problem of disunity between statistical value and application value, that is, it only pays attention to its forecasting accuracy and ignores the risks caused by it in the power system. In order to solve the above problems, this study proposes a framework of wind supply power forecasting (WSPF) for wind farm cluster, which takes into account the risk scenario perception. First of all, aiming at the predicted risk phenomenon in WPF, TimesNet combined with the fluctuation information of Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) wind speed is used to identify the corresponding risk scenarios. Secondly, the effective consumption area and power supply risk area evaluation index, as well as the accuracy of WSPF are defined, and the optimal forecasting curve correction scheme is fitted according to the index. Thirdly, taking into account the correction scheme and identification results, a variety of predictors are used to verify the WSPF according to the above framework. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a wind farm cluster in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region of China, the average accuracy of WSPF has increased by 37%, which verifies the effectiveness and universality of this method. © 2010-2012 IEEE.

Similar to most multicarrier modulations, orthog-onal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation (OFDM-IM) also suffers high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) issue due to its inherit structure. In this paper, a novel PAPR reduction scheme for OFDM-IM with dither signals is proposed. Unlike the previous method that utilizes convex programming to determine the optimized signals that are added to the idle subcarriers of OFDM-IM. The proposed scheme utilizes several fixed sets which contain constraint amplitude dither signals to reduce the PAPR. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve solid PAPR reduction performance similar to that of the classical PAPR reduction schemes (e.g. partial transmit sequence (PTS), selected mapping (SLM)). Moreover, compared with the conventional PAPR reduction scheme with dither signals, the proposed one does not need convex optimization, which owns high computational complexity. Also, by utilizing selected dither signals, the proposed scheme can achieve lower error performance than that of the conventional scheme with dither signal. © 2022 IEEE.

The existing directional pilot protection (DPP) is susceptible to the line distributed capacitance and the fault resistance, and mostly rely on the current limiting reactance (CLR) at the line ends. To solve the above problems, the line-mode fault component power (LFCP) based DPP is proposed for flexible DC distribution grid (FDCDG). First, the characters of LFCP are discussed under different faults. The theoretical analysis show that the polarity of the LFCP under internal fault is same, while the polarity of the LFCP is opposite under external fault. Then, the LFCP is built as the directional criterion, and the corresponding protection scheme is constructed. The electromagnetic transient simulations of the PSCAD/EMTDC verify that the proposed DPP is less affected by the noise, and has low requirement on the sampling rate, strong engineering applicability. © 2024 IEEE.

In the transient high-speed measurement scene, time-stretched dispersion Fourier transform technology is presented as an effective solution to reduce the bandwidth limit of electrical digital-to-analog conversion devices, which can realize the mapping from frequency domain to time domain by introducing sufficient amount of group time delay by dispersion elements, such as single-mode fibers. However, the introduction of long-distance single-mode fiber greatly reduce the intensity of optical signal. In our work, we introduce the Gerchberg-Saxton phase recovery algorithm into the velocity signal analysis to recover the interference signal from the two sufficient diversities incompletely stretched temporal envelope. The two envelopes are stretched by L1=10 km and L2=15 km single-mode fiber, which recorded with the dispersion D1=180 ps/nm and D2=270 ps/nm respectively. With the additional iterations, the phase error and magnitude tend to be stable, which are both below 0.3. We also compare the error of the algorithm under different dispersion ratios D(=D1/D2). The results show that the demodulated error will be affected by the change of the value of D. Our work lays a foundation for the subsequent debugging of the time-stretched photon Doppler velocimetry system, and also provides support for transient high-speed measurement. © 2024 SPIE. In practical rotating machinery fault diagnosis (FD) tasks, the scarcity of labeled fault data often impedes the model's ability to learn effective classification boundaries, resulting in poor performance with limited training samples. To address this issue, this paper introduces a rotation machinery few-shot FD algorithm based on a Relational Attention Network (RAN). The network comprises four modules: feature embedding, feature concatenation, attention computation, and relation computation. RAN achieves a large-margin feature space by utilizing extended concatenation and attention on feature pairs. Specifically, the feature embedding module extracts signal features and constructs both a prototype-query feature pair matrix and a query-query feature pair matrix. Subsequently, the attention computation module assigns higher weights to indistinguishable heterogeneous feature pairs within the two matrices. Finally, the attention-weighted feature pair matrices are fed into the relation computation module to generate a relation score matrix. The effectiveness and superiority of this method were validated on a bearing fault dataset. Experimental results demonstrate that RAN outperforms various comparison methods in recognition accuracy under limited training sample conditions. © The Institution of Engineering & technology 2024.
