Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)communications have recently entered a new period of interest,motivated by technological advances and the gradual emergence of the Space-Air-Ground Integrated network(SAGIN).The current survey aims to capture the use of UAVs in the SAGIN while highlighting the most promising open research *** traditional UAV network architecture is not adequate to meet the challenges presented by the SAGIN,and an effective and secure space-air-ground integrated UAV network needs to be *** its well-distributed management and consensus mechanism,blockchain technology can make up for the deficiency of the traditional UAV *** this work,we review the role of UAVs in the ***,three applications of the blockchain-envisioned UAV network are introduced through several *** challenges and the corresponding open research topics are also described.

Random mating mayfly algorithm for RFID network planning

In order to improve robustness and efficiency of the radio frequency identification(RFID)network,a random mating mayfly algorithm(RMMA)was ***,RMMA introduced the mechanism of random mating into the mayfly algorithm(MA),which improved the population diversity and enhanced the exploration ability of the algorithm in the early stage,and find a better solution to the RFID nework planning(RNP)***,in RNP,tags are usually placed near the boundaries of the working space,so the minimum boundary mutation strategy was proposed to make sure the mayflies which beyond the boundary can keep the original search direction,as to enhance the ability of searching near the ***,in order to measure the performance of RMMA,the algorithm is then benchmarked on three well-known classic test functions,and the results are verified by a comparative study with particle swarm optimization(PSO),grey wolf optimization(GWO),and *** results show that the RMMA algorithm is able to provide very competitive results compared to these well-known meta-heuristics,RMMA is also applied to solve RNP *** performance evaluation shows that RMMA achieves higher coverage than the other three *** the number of readers is the same,RMMA can obtain lower interference and get a better load balance in each instance compared with other *** can also solve RNP problem stably and efficiently when the number and position of tags change over time.

Dynamic convolution models for cross-frontend keyword spotting

In this study, we propose a novel keyword spotting method that integrates a dynamic convolution model with a cross-frontend mutual learning strategy. The dynamic convolution model enables the adaptive capture of diverse and time-varying acoustic patterns, while the mutual learning strategy effectively leverages complementary features extracted from multiple audio frontends to enhance the model’s generalization across different input conditions. Experimental results on the public Google Speech Commands dataset demonstrate that the proposed method achieves 97% accuracy with only 62K parameters and 6.11M FLOPs. Furthermore, the method shows strong robustness in noisy environments, maintaining reliable recognition performance even under challenging conditions with low signal-to-noise ratio. These findings highlight the efficiency and robustness of the proposed approach, making it a promising solution for real-world keyword spotting applications.

Study on trust model for multi-users in cloud computing

Although some trust management approaches are proposed for cloud computing, these approaches only deal with single and simple trust relationship, trust algorithms in these models are one dimensional, and can not accurately measure the trust relationship between multi-users. In the paper we present a cloud trust model based on trust level agreement. The proposed method can assist cloud computing entities to make good interaction decisions. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a hierarchical trust modeling method to user and improve his or her security situational awareness in the cloud computing environments. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher trust accurate rate and interaction success rate, and it is qualified to prevent malicious entities attacks while maintaining effciency. Our analysis shows a significant improvement in comparison to traditional trust management technology. Our work appears to be the first attempt to research the multi-entities trust management method in cloud computing. © 2018, Femto Technique Co., Ltd.

Virtual surgery has been widely used in medical training for safety and cost reasons. The hepatectomy simulator we proposed in this paper is a virtual surgical system designed to simulate the resection of liver with electric knife. It can help medical students familiarize themselves with surgical procedures and improve their skills in repeatable training. Liver model used in this study was reconstructed from real CT images, position-based dynamics has been used to make the model deformable. By combining VR headset with force feedback device, a more realistic operating environment is presented. According to the evaluation results, users all have a positive attitude towards the usefulness and usability of the simulator. Existing problems of the simulator have been discussed in this paper, as well as directions for further research. © 2021 ACM.

The existing stereo video retargeting algorithms commonly use a same methodology to perform resizing without considering different videos with various features, leading to the low quality of reconstructed videos. To address this issue, we propose a stereo video retargeting method based on camera motion classification, which employs different retargeting strategies to rescale stereo videos. We also design an adaptive stereo video classification method which determines the types of camera motion according to the distribution of motion vectors extracted from the left view of stereo videos. Besides, we develop a motion saliency detection method to eliminate the jittering of moving objects during video resizing. Experimental results show that the qualities of retargeted videos produced by our method are significantly superior to those of existing methods. © 2023 IEEE.

The reliability of a network is an important indicator for maintaining communication and ensuring its stable operation. Therefore, the assessment of reliability in underlying interconnection networks has become an increasingly important research issue. However, at present, the reliability assessment of many interconnected networks is not yet accurate,which inevitably weakens their fault tolerance and diagnostic capabilities. To improve network reliability,researchers have proposed various methods and strategies for precise assessment. This paper introduces a novel family of interconnection networks called general matching composed networks(gMCNs), which is based on the common characteristics of network topology structure. After analyzing the topological properties of gMCNs, we establish a relationship between super connectivity and conditional diagnosability of gMCNs. Furthermore, we assess the reliability of g MCNs, and determine the conditional diagnosability of many interconnection networks.

RFID indoor positioning based on semi-supervised actor-critic co-training

For large-scale radio frequency identification(RFID) indoor positioning system, the positioning scale is relatively large, with less labeled data and more unlabeled data, and it is easily affected by multipath and white noise. An RFID positioning algorithm based on semi-supervised actor-critic co-training(SACC) was proposed to solve this problem. In this research, the positioning is regarded as Markov decision-making process. Firstly, the actor-critic was combined with random actions and the unlabeled best received signal arrival intensity(RSSI) data was selected by co-training of the semi-supervised. Secondly, the actor and the critic were updated by employing Kronecker-factored approximation calculate(K-FAC) natural gradient. Finally, the target position was obtained by co-locating with labeled RSSI data and the selected unlabeled RSSI data. The proposed method reduced the cost of indoor positioning significantly by decreasing the number of labeled data. Meanwhile, with the increase of the positioning targets, the actor could quickly select unlabeled RSSI data and updates the location model. Experiment shows that, compared with other RFID indoor positioning algorithms, such as twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient(TD3), deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG), and actor-critic using Kronecker-factored trust region(ACKTR), the proposed method decreased the average positioning error respectively by 50.226%, 41.916%, and 25.004%. Meanwhile, the positioning stability was improved by 23.430%, 28.518%, and 38.631%.
