With the rapid development of computer technology and the Internet of Things (IoT), a large amount of data containing both healthy and faulty states can be collected from existing devices in factories. However, the usable faulty state data is scarce. Transfer learning makes it possible to train efficient and reliable neural networks with a small number of samples. Domain adaptation, as a branch of transfer learning, can effectively realize knowledge transfer between small sample data. Starting from three subcategories of deep learning-based domain adaptation methods, this article summarizes the latest research achievements and provides insights into future research directions. © 2023 IEEE.

Locust and grasshopper plague has caused problems for man since the beginning of recorded history. In China 1.47 million ha of farmlands in 160 counties of 14 provinces suffered from oriental migratory locust L. m. manilensis attacks in summer of 2002. Among the 800 kinds of known grasshopper species habituating in China, there are 60 kinds of them are throwing a big threat to ecological environment and sustainable development of grassland and husbandry. To prevent agricultural and economical losses, locust and grasshopper habitats and vegetation damage should be monitored and assessed for assisting pest managers with precaution and practical acts in various damage stages. Given the vast geographic extent of the study area and demand of high temporal frequency of data, traditional ground survey methods are inadequate for locust management in our modern era. With advantage of detecting remotely area in large scale dynamically and uninterruptedly, remote sensing (RS) integrated with other information technologies (e.g. GIS (Geographical information system)) can be applied in locust monitoring. According to biology of locust and grasshopper, there are several certain ecological indicators (e.g. soil, vegetation, geographical condition, temperature) are required for locust and grasshopper growth during their different life stages. With increasing availability of spatio-temporal resolution and continues coverage, remote sensing can be applied in ecological change monitoring for locust management. Various satellite images are increasingly used in locust risk assessment, plague monitoring and damage assessment with analysis and retrieval of several essential ecological factors (e.g. soil moisture, land surface temperature, vegetation condition) and mapping high risk locust habitats and greenness distribution. Locust and grasshopper plague can be monitored through detecting vegetation with LAI (Leaf Area Index) and suitability of habitats. Assessing damage of vegetation and

The lack of centralized management causes problems in the system of distributed parking spaces, such as unsecured revenues, poor service quality and malicious valuation. Therefore, this paper proposes a parking sharing scheme based on non-fungible tokens. Firstly, we propose the calculation method of parking space renter reputation value, parking space provider reputation value and the reputation incentive algorithm of parking space sharing, which can ensure the service quality of distributed parking space share and prevent malicious evaluation and implement bidirectional constraints on parking space provider and renter. Secondly, we propose a parking space sharing model with non-fungible tokens as sharing credentials to map parking space assets to on-chain assets via non-fungible tokens and introduce timers based on hash time locks. We propose an intelligent parking rental contract based on improved hash lock to guarantee the revenue of parking space providers in a distributed environment. Finally, experiments based on Ethereum show that the scheme can realize shared parking space at a lower cost;the proposed incentive algorithm can effectively prevent parking space providers and renters from misbehaving. © 2022 IEEE.

LiDAR has been widely used in autonomous vehicles for its advantages of wide horizon and accurate detection. However, there are still several challenges in processing LiDAR point cloud, where the ground segmentation is one of the critical issues. In complex driving scenarios such as slope terrain and road bump, the current ground segmentation methods have the problem of under-segmentation or over-segmentation and its real-time performance degradation becomes unacceptable. Motivated by this, a 3D LiDAR point cloud ground segmentation algorithm based on adaptive ground height and adaptive slope threshold is proposed to segment the ground points in complex terrain. First, the point cloud is filtered by voxelization method, and the cylindrical sector is constructed with the help of polar coordinate. Then the point cloud is divided into different sectors, and the slope threshold and ground height are updated in each sector. Finally, an adaptive ground height and an adaptive slope threshold are used to distinguish ground points and non-ground ones. Qualitative and quantitative experiments on both SemanticKITTI dataset and on-board sensor data are conducted to evaluate the accuracy and efficiency of our algorithm. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Blockchain technology is currently a research hotspot in the computer field. However, with the rapid development of blockchain technology, poor storage scalability limits its further application. In response to this problem, this paper proposes a multi-chain storage scheme based on hash calendar and recursive zero-knowledge proof, which consists of two parts: off-chain and on-chain. The off-chain part uses hash calendar technology to store account information, and through recursive zero-knowledge proof of account state transitions, ensures the verifiability of off-chain state transitions and improves the security of the solution;and sets up proof generators and transactions The two roles of the executor improve the efficiency of transaction execution. A dynamically addable main and sub-chain array is designed on the chain. The sub-chains store the brief information of transactions and the world state. The main chain is responsible for verifying the correctness of off-chain state transitions. On-chain and off-chain collaborative storage reduces the space occupied by data., to realize the storage expansion of the blockchain. Finally, simulation experiments show that this scheme can effectively realize the storage expansion of blockchain. © 2022 IEEE.

When facing large amounts of data, it is a challenging task to optimize policies by using all data at once. In this paper, a data-driven Q-learning scheme with parallel multi-step deduction is developed to improve learning efficiency using small batch data for discrete-time nonlinear control. Specifically, a data-driven model is established by making use of all data in advance. Then, the proposed algorithm can parallel deduce the small batch data to effectively accelerate the learning process. Furthermore, we can adjust the step size of multi-step deduction to balance the utilization between data and model. The near-optimal policy can be obtained ultimately by using hybrid data from the real system and data-driven model. Finally, a torsional pendulum plant is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

We have demonstrated wideband tunable optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on BaGa4Se7 crystal. A pump double-pass, short cavity, singly resonant OPO configuration was used to improve the optical conversion efficiency and reduce the OPO threshold. Using a commercial nanosecond laser with a repetition rate of 10 Hz as the pump source, the tuning range of BaGa4Se7-OPO achieved 3.10-4.84 and 8.24-13.34 µm in mid-wave and long-wave infrared band respectively. The maximum single pulse energy of reached 8.55 mJ at 3.88 µm and 0.855 mJ at 10.8 μm. To achieve high repetition rate operating, an electro-optic Q-switched laser with repetition rate of 1 kHz was built. The high repetition rate BaGa4Se7-OPO have a maximum output power of 564 mW at 3.87 μm and a tuning range of 2.99-5.04 µm. © 2024 SPIE.

This paper presents a design of 23-34 GHz wideband low-noise amplifier (LNA) based on gallium-nitride (GaN) technology. The LNA circuit employs an input matching network with few components and particularly reduces the noise of the second stage at the high frequency, which makes the circuit achieve sub-1dB noise performance in the whole bandwidth, while completing noise and impedance matching. Because inductive peaking technique and stagger tuning technique are adopted, the small-signal gain of the LNA is from 22.1 dB to 25.2 dB over the whole bandwidth. With 30.9 dBm maximum output-referred third-order intercept point (OIP3) and 42 dBm maximum input power (Pin,max), the LNA also achieves high linearity and high reliability. © 2021 IEEE.

During the storing, transferring, processing, and exchanging phases of the full life-cycle of secure image sharing, there may exist security issues such as information leakage, infringement and abuse. To address those problems, a life-cycle security management mechanism is proposed. By utilizing the Commutative Encryption and Watermarking (CEW), the mechanism ensures that the ownership and confidentiality of one image can hardly be tampered with and compromised. Besides, with the help of the blockchain, the mechanism is enabled to record any changes during the whole process of the image sharing, which makes copyright traceability possible and thus reduces the occurrence of infringement and abuse. The experiment result shows that, in our mechanism, the quality of plaintext image with watermark obtained by decryption is high, and the invisibility of watermark is preserved. Also, the efficient analysis and experimenting of the mechanism exhibits that it is feasible in practice. © 2022 IEEE.

Designing new materials and architectures to maintain activity and stability requires a better understanding on the anticorrosion dynamics of ***-coordinated atoms on the surface of nanoparticles can be protected by deposited ***-time observation on how protective shells grow and play a role is challenging but ***,protective effects of AuCl_(3) shells on Au nanobipyramids(NBPs)are studied in HAuCl_(4) aqueous solutions by in-situ liquid cell transmission electron microscopy(LCTEM).This study is the first to observe the formation of Au-AuCl_(3) core-shell nanostructure and the corresponding anticorrosion behaviors of AuCl_(3) deposited *** presence of CTAB can substantially influence the growth mode and structure of AuCl_(3) shell,by a direct or indirect way,intervene the dissolution of Au *** growth or dissolution kinetics here revealed at the nanoscale provide insights towards engineering of the surface anticorrosion to pursue Au nanoparticles with improved stability in acidic environment.
