In neighborhood rough set model, the majority rule based neighborhood classifier (NC) is easy to be misjudged with the increasing of the size of information granules. To remedy this deficiency, we propose a neighborhood collaborative classifier (NCC) based on the idea of collaborative representation based classification (CRC). NCC first performs feature selection with neighborhood rough set, and then instead of solving the classification problem by the majority rule, NCC solves a similar problem with collaborative representation among the neighbors of each unseen sample. Experiments on UCI data sets demonstrate that: 1) Our NCC achieves satisfactory performance in larger neighborhood information granules when compared with NC; 2) NCC reduces the size of dictionary when compared with CRC.

This paper deals with the blow-up and the global existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear initial boundary value parabolic problem. On the one hand, we obtain blow-up conditions of the problem by the divergence theorem and the inequality technique. On the other hand, we obtain conditions of global existence by the eigenvalue theory and maximum principle. The results are extend and deepen the ones from corresponding works in[1-3].

With the Z-scan method,the nonlinear optical properties of the sample of Ethyl red(ER) in ethanol solution(in which the content of ER is 1% by weight) were measured using the lasers of three wavelengths(441.6nm,535 nm and 633nm) *** a result,the effective indexes of refraction n2 of ER at the three wavelengths are in the range from 1.35×10-10 to 5.44×10-9m2/W;n2 at 535 nm is the maximal and about 30 times that at 633 *** results show that the ER has a potential application value in optical limiting or in the field of fast response.
